Absolutely the worse customer service. Just called twice, waited for 20 minutes each time to talk to a technician until I was up to the #1 position just to have them automatically force me to voice mail. I have had their rotten service for over a year (obviously a glutton for punishment) and have complained numerous times regarding this practice (forcing me to voice mail) and they pretended not to even know what I am talking about. If you have any other options don't use this service. The first couple of months were fine. It's now gotten to the point of unusable in the evenings. The signal is very unstable. It will be ok for a few minutes then just disappear for awhile then come back for a minute or so then disappear again. Very frustrating. It didn't use to be like that. It's very slow to begin with, I knew that going in, but no signal at all isn't good. I've tried contacting the company and never have gotten a response. Total highspeed could be the best thing that ever happen to this area. But this is not the case. Rural areas are hard hit for good internet all over the country and TA has exploted this with outrages pricing, pour customer service. TA a company that can pay the high pricing of tv advertising yet have limited tech hours. This is company that Missouri could do with out. Rural areas need a company that understands are needs and does not take advantge of us with the high pricing. read more

I switched from HughesNet to TotalHighspeed based on promises of faster download speed and more consistent service. Unfortunately, that is not what I got. I have a netspeed monitor constantly running on my computer. Despite TotalHighspeed's assurances of 500 kb/sec download speeds, I rarely see that and then only for a few seconds at a time. Download speeds of less than 10 kb/sec are common as are web page timeouts. Service outages have been frequent. Also, TotalHighspeed has an interesting scam you should be aware of. Any time you connect to one of the internet speed test sites, TotalHighspeed gives your connection complete priority. So, even though your average download speed will be in the neighborhood of 150-250 kb/sec, when you connect to a site like speedtest.net, you'll get 700-900 kb/sec. So, unless you have a local netspeed monitor on your computer, you'll be fooled into thinking the problem is with the web page rather than TotalHighspeed. I just returned to HughesNet. Their new 4G service provides up to 20 times the speed of TotalHighspeed and they have packages which are competitive with TotalHighspeed. read more
