Their instruction, approach, knowledge, and interaction are all reasons for anyone to come in and experience this gym. My husband went to this gym with a Groupon in Spring 2025, a contract was proposed and my husband declined entering a contract. My husband does not do contracts with gyms. My husband proposed a month-to-month contract to Heather and Mike. Heather asked Mike if that was okay, and Mike said that it was. Heather then provided my husband with a document and explained it was to accept gym rules and waive liability, which he signed. My husband needed to cancel his membership in December 2025 and requested that through the billing department email which is just Heather. Since the payments didn't stop, he attempted to resume going to this gym two or three months later, but this was during the period when this gym had no physical operation. He showed up two or three times at the new address and didn't find any gym there. This was a very distressing and confusing situation for him. I tried contacting the billing department, but there is no billing department, it is just an email address and they don't take calls. My husband had been trying to get ahold of the "billing department" as well with no luck. I explained the whole story about what happened in an email to the "billing department." Heather said that she would cancel the contract but that this would just go to collections. In another email, Mike told my husband to "tell your wife to f*** off." Today, we received that bill from collections. My husband never understood he was signing an annual contract and was explicitly told by Mike that he could do a month-to-month arrangement, and Heather lied to him about what he was signing. After all this happened, I looked back in time at Yelp reviews and found that this business has been doing shady and dishonest behavior like this for at least a decade.

I discovered this place a month ago and have been there nearly every day since- despite living an…read morehour away. The 1-2 hour commute is worth it because the environment is supportive in a way that fosters intentional community and care I haven't found in other studios. This is done not only by the rules of the studio but by the culture the owners and staff live. I go here when I need a friend, a good workout, or a good cry while stretching and listening to my music. I was terrified and honestly intimidated to try the cool tricks I had seen online, but after coming to my first class, I was filled with hope and confidence I didn't think were there. Instructors and fellow students even break down moves in ways that are comprehensible to diverse learning styles before working with individuals to make sure everybody accomplishes some sort of new skill by the end of class. Days I don't get the full skill by the end of class, I have still learned a plethora of baby skills that give me excitement and purpose to keep coming back. By the second class or open gym session I try the main skill again, I usually get it. I've been mind-blown by the skills I've learned just in a month that I never thought I would be able to do. Needless to say, my confidence has grown, my fitness has improved immensely, and greatest of all, I've made so many new friends. I'm severely grateful for the SLC circus center and would recommend it to anyone especially if you're intimidated but curious. There is a place for you here.

I learned a lot of techniques in my short visit that directly improved my jiujitsu. If you want to learn leg locks, go to the advanced no gi classes that they offer. 2. Culture. Everyone is welcoming and willing to help. I am a smaller guy and I appreciate when a gym has people my size across all ranks. The blackbelts will roll with you and answers questions and shares techniques (I got to train with James and Damon) All classes are well attended and there's 20-40 people on the mats. 3. Let me be the first to say that I am just not one of those people who are uber fit. I dislike most…read morephysical activities, (i.e., walking, running, aerobics, doing anything that requires moving my joints). That's not to say that I don't do physical activity, I just am typically not a fan. That being said, I could completely see Baile Dance making me want to be (and stay) physically active and fit. I recently went to a Zumba class, which turned out to be taught by one of my favorite instructors, Enrique (also instructs at BodyWise Fitness). While I'm not particularly good at Zumba (my hips actually do lie), I find it to be so much fun. Knowing how great of an instructor Enrique is, I'm sure that the other instructors are probably just as great as he is. This studio opened fairly recently, so the studio is gorgeous. The interior is bright and large with light hardwood, large mirrors, a good sound system, a clean bathroom, a beautiful chalkboard wall, and ample storage for your things. One of the things I like most about it being a dance studio is that if you're like me, you sign up for classes at the gym, but you don't go to the rest of the gym. I'd rather just pay for what I'm getting. Overall, I'd give this new studio a try, you won't regret it. Plus, maybe you'll actually like exercise (or at the least dance) when you do.
