    Front desk receptionist, Alex, was cold and unwelcoming. When I asked to explain something, she just repeated what she said the first time. She also checked me out. Still same demeanor. Waiting room area appears clean. Saw a nurse practitioner via telemedicine briefly to review medical history then a "Nurse Injector" administered the Dysport. Had bought 50 units prior to the visit but she said I needed 30 more units to cover crows feet area, Glabella and Forehead at $5.50 per unit so I paid a total of $314 with the 50 unit Groupon + additional units. The nurse applied Arnica over the injected areas to minimize bruising (a first for me and I appreciated it). Overall, Alex, in the front not personable or friendly. Nurse injector, Judy, not the most personable either but good skill and I appreciated the arnica and her marking the spots she would be injecting. Will update if I have any adverse reactions or major issues after today.

    I come in to see Judy for Dysport. She's amazing at what she does, super friendly, and very informative. I like to take progress photos and she always remembers to ask if I've taken my before photo, so here they are. Top is day of treatment, middle is 3 days after, and bottom is 2 weeks after.

    I had such a negative experience here that I feel the need to share so that no one has to have this happen to them. With major hesitation, I purchased a Groupon for 50 Units of Dysport because of the positive reviews. (Which I did not need all units in my forehead where I requested most to be done) I requested some units to be put in another area of my face. Not only did I feel unheard and rushed during my appointment once I was with the injector, she immediately talked me out of the other area I wanted saying it's for a customer with a gummy smile. (I HAD A MASK ON) So I stated "well I have a gummy smile" and she quickly dismissed me like I never said anything. That or... she was rushing so much that she didn't even hear me. So she injected all 50 units in my forehead and right above my brows. (Which was WAY too much for me. I'm 36.) I left thinking well that was oddly fast compared to my normal injector and just chalked it up to them being swamped because of Groupons. Within 4 days... my eyes started to look really off. My brows were frozen, uneven, & my normal high arch was low and strait like a handle bar? Then day 5, my upper eyelid started to droop & sit on top of my lower eyelid. Keep in mind, I am a bridal makeup artist. I do my eye makeup daily and I couldn't get a brush in my crease because I had no crease! After doing a lot of research on "bad Botox" I realized something was very wrong. I called concerned asking for a follow up. Once I got there I was met by my injector and was told I was injected with too many units above my brow and it had froze them which was causing the heaviness on my eyelid. She explained there's nothing they can do and that it will go away in a few months. She also said "next time, if it's me or another injector... tell them you need less above your brow." I (thought) to myself... how incredibly dismissive of her. ...Next time? Another person? So you know you screwed up, right? I was TOO kind in that moment if you ask me because I wanted to cry right there but I took the high road and smiled and said okay! Like the last time, I felt rushed and I was in that back office for probably less than 4 minutes then sent out the front door. I felt rushed and unheard, yet again. At the expense of someone else's mistake. Just a simple.. sorry... nothing we can do? If I ran my business like that, I wouldn't have one. SO I made the crappy decision to call the call center and ask to speak to a supervisor of the Med Spas as a way to maybe provide a "coaching moment" for the injector. I was told a manager would call me on Friday. It's now Tuesday and I have had no calls, no voicemails, ZERO follow up. I understand mistakes happen but with the large amount of clientele this locations gets... this shouldn't happen by an *experienced injector. I'm extremely disappointed in my service and now I feel deeply insecure about my eyes as I work with the public in the beauty industry and I'm worried my lower lid will have permanent creases from the drooping. I will stick to my normal injector off of Camp Bowie and NEVER make the mistake to go the cheap route with a company that clearly see's no value in their Groupon clientele. I will highlight one positive thing and that was the woman that scheduled the appointments for me over me over the phone. I made sure to tell her that she was wonderful. She doesn't work directly at this location. I will post a before pic of my lid space and an after pic with me trying to make a mean face thats requested when your injected. The results speak for themself without this review. Also the first pic is with ZERO Botox or Dysport.

I purchased this service through Groupon as a special gift for my mother for Mother's Day and our anniversary celebration. Unfortunately, the experience became upsetting and stressful instead of enjoyable. My mother, who has sensitive Asian skin, was left sitting with numbing cream for around 45 minutes while staff repeatedly delayed her appointment. They said there was an issue pulling up the Groupon voucher because of internet problems. During that time, another customer was taken before us, even though my mother had already been prepared for treatment. The numbing cream was left on for too long, and we became worried about irritation to her skin. On top of that, we received two separate calls asking for an additional $50, and at one point they even tried to cancel the service simply because it was purchased through Groupon. The staff member was rude, dismissive, and made my mother feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. This was supposed to be a meaningful gift and relaxing experience, but instead it ruined her day and made her feel sad and embarrassed. I originally chose this business because of the positive reviews, but after this experience I started reading more reviews and noticed similar complaints from other Groupon customers. It gave me the impression that customers who purchase through Groupon may not receive the same level of treatment or service. No customer should ever feel rejected, disrespected, or treated differently because of how they purchased the service or because of their skin color or background. Customers who purchase through Groupon are still paying customers and deserve professionalism, kindness, honesty, and equal treatment. I hope management seriously reviews how clients are being treated and improves their customer service.

I've been seeing Melissa for almost two years, she's a saint of a human, making you feel as if you're best friends while keeping her professionalism. She takes time to truly listen to your goals, wants and needs and plans the treatment accordingly. I've always only had Botox, which turns out phenomenal every single time. My last appointment we really had fun doing Botox, Skinvive around my mouth & Voluma. First let me say I am a whimp in her chair no matter how often I go I'm always nervous, Melissa has patience to stop when needed making sure you're comfortable the entire process and keeps the conversation light and airy to ease my nerves. Second I went in planning to do a different treatment, once I expressed my concerns we discussed other options and changed the plan. She said to me "can you trust me and explained why she decided on another plan." My response "ABSOLUTELY". I trust she knows me and the level of expectation based on our conversations. Not once did she ask which side I sleep on (it's not my left!), so it frustrated me that she felt okay to make that assumption. She kept insisting that the line isn't visible, AS I WAS POINTING IT OUT TO HER WHILE HOLDING A MIRROR! She then leaned back against one of the counters and said I had 2 options. First, she said there wasn't anything she could do and that I just had to let it be. Then she said I could spend money to buy additional units to inject, but she didn't seem like she was interested in truly helping me figure out a reasonable solution to an issue that was created by a service from their medspa. I left feeling like I'd wasted my time (and lunch hour), was pretty much dismissed and made to feel unheard. Ironically, if I had actually felt like she was hearing what I had repeatedly tried to convey and suggested that the issue might be resolved with the purchase of a few additional units I would have gladly paid for it. Instead, she tried to make me feel like my concerns were not valid and then showed absolutely ZERO concern that I was leaving their facility more frustrated and without a solution. They (including the ladies at the reception area) seemed more concerned about getting out of there since they will be closed for the rest of the week for the July 4th holiday. Maybe other clients have just had the good fortune of having better experiences and better people to provide their services to them. This just doesn't happen to be the case for me. Obviously, this isn't the right medspa for me or for my needs/concerns.

I used to never leave the house without a full coverage foundation and with the help of the wonderful staff at Renew, I feel more than confident only leaving with a tinted sunscreen. I started with a consultation with Dr. Gordon and she helped identify a treatment plan to help achieve my skin goals. The treatments I've tried that have drastically improved my appearance, and confidence, are chemical peels and hydra facials with Haley. She always takes the time to explain everything she's doing. I had major hesitations when it came to chemical peels because I have super sensitive skin. But every time I come out glowing. She's able to customize peels and gradually strengthen as your skin adjusts after each treatment. Also, the hydrafacials are to die for, especially if you have an event coming up. I recommend combining dermaplaning with a hydrafacial. When you're you'll look red carpet ready! I did this before my sister's wedding and even treated her to one as well. Aside from facials, I've also done laser hair removal with Michelle on my underarms. After only three treatments, I already see a difference in hair growth. Michelle is so detail-oriented and makes sure she gets every single hair. The entire office staff is great. Ashley and sometimes Beth, are the ones answering the phones. They're always available to answer questions, book appointments, talk about specials, and order skincare products. Love Renew MD and their entire staff. They make you feel like family when you walk through the door. They remember every patient and ensure you've had a good experience. Skincare is an investment and Renew is the only place I trust!!
