There is no email or digital communication available, everything requires making an appointment and physically coming in. Today we showed up for what we thought was an appointment, only to find it had been "forgotten" and was just for bloodwork. When we explained we urgently needed counsel, the PA said she didn't have time to return patient calls. That is not an acceptable excuse, if the workload is too heavy, it needs to be addressed by management, not pushed onto patients who are desperate for care. To make matters worse, the PA raised her voice at us when we pressed for help. This unprofessional escalation led to raised voices on both sides and even a threat to call the police, all because we were simply advocating for my dad's care. That is completely unacceptable behavior from a healthcare professional. This lack of communication, professionalism, and support is unsafe and deeply frustrating. Patients should never feel abandoned or treated with hostility by their care team, especially when health is declining and time is critical. If this office cannot handle their patient load, then they are doing harm by continuing to accept patients. We will be reporting this incident.

If you are a walk in patient, count on a 2hr wait. Even if you have an appointment, count on being there an hour and a half past your appointment time before you are seen. When you call, they leave you on hold for a half hour. When you finally do get to talk to someone, they give you the runaround, brush-off, or just plain stonewall you. When you try to book an appointment online, it takes them 2 weeks to get back to you. The doctor misdiagnosed my son. He had an eye problem, but didn't even look at his eye. He instantly called it conjunctivitis. It was actually a blocked tear duct. We were told they would call us to discuss our daughter's case in a few days. They never called. When we called them, we were given excuses and the old brush off. This place sucks.

Josh Motl is the PA here and he is just awesome! he listens to your complaints and immediately inputs them in your file and finds a solution to your ailments or at least directs you to the nearest facility to help with your complaints! He was out of his prescribed pain medications. Cindy did not care about the fact that my father was supposed to be on palliative care (her counterpart Eric was "researching it"). He should have one doctor prescribing his meds and managing his healthcare. She insisted that for my father to get his end of life pain meds, he needed to be seen. (Proven yet denied by Cindy, that we received two days of pain meds while she was out because Eric refused to see him.) Unfortunately, my father cannot hardly walk and can barely sit-up. This was of no consequence to Cindy, she "needed to see him". So, I and a friend of the family took him. Due to the exertion of moving him, he was unable to speak or make decisions. He fell twice trying to just get him there! Hence, why he gave me medical POA! Well, long story short, when I confronted her absolute disregard for my fathers well being, she locked me out from being able to make decisions. Literally, tricked me into going into the hallway and then locked the door. She is out of her mind! I will be filing a complaint with the medical board and truly hope that if you are considering this terrible person to be your healthcare provider, that you reconsider. There other, more qualified providers located in Spring Valley, Dewey or PV. Sadly, it could literally be life or death!

They often charge for services never rendered. They take forever to bill you and forever to record any payment you make so they continue to bill you for weeks and weeks after you've paid. My check to them cleared my account already, yet they continue to bill me. It is impossible to actually speak to a person in billing when there is a problem! Most frustrating and incompetent medical office I've ever encountered! I've reported them for medicare fraud 2-3 times already because I couldn't get them to stop billing Medicare for service I never received.‍

I had known Dr. Helen from previous visits to one of the local pain centers and decided to visit her as a new primary. She is the most thorough medical practitioner that I have ever encountered in my 83 years! To properly and sensibly treat any patient, she works diligently to establish current base level health indicators from which to administer current treatment as well as levels to which future indicators can be compared. I do not think that there is a single aspect of my health story that Dr. Helen did not have knowledge of after my current levels had been established. The establishment of these levels gave her an awareness of two issues that I had discussed with past primary physicians which were just passed off as a results of aging. I would liked to have encountered her when I was in my twenties. I am looking forward to lowering my "health age" from 71to somewhere in the sixties.

Rather then listening to symptoms and providing a compassionate approach to treatment (ex. ordering tests, ruling out potential root causes, etc.), or alternatively referring her to someone who could truly help diagnose her, Helen apparently "has her own method of healthcare" which is essentially dismiss the patient's inputs, do NOT seek to attain additional relevant medical information, and brush off the patient and their family. Following an initial rather underwhelming initial visit related to these new symptoms, my father tried to provide additional medical history to help with a diagnosis. Helen told them that she would not order additional tests, despite their inputs, did not appreciate my father providing the additional information, and that their desperation in seeking her help was making her feel uncomfortable. My mother and father are in their 70s-80s. This was extremely shocking for both of them, and they felt betrayed, particularly given the history that my mom had with Helen. No care or compassion given, just dismissal. So much for the Physician's Oath... There are a lot of great options in Prescott for primary care. Do NOT go to Paslay Health Care.
