The first thing we did was check out his mixes on his Instagram and website, and we immediately loved his style. On top of his clear talent, his prices were very affordable and reasonable. When we found out he's also a nurse, we were even happier to support a fellow healthcare worker! From our first chat before the wedding, we knew we had made the right choice. Kyle is super fun, cool, and just has an amazing vibe. You can instantly tell how much he cares about the music and creating the perfect atmosphere for the couple. He was also incredibly responsive and flexible, even when we had some last-minute music changes the day before the wedding! On the day of, Kyle was an absolute professional and a master at his craft. He was actively mixing throughout the entire reception, reading the room, and playing off the crowd's energy. This isn't one of those DJs who just hits play on a pre-made mix and walks away--Kyle was engaged and working hard to keep the party going all night. I even saw him quickly scarfing down his salad underneath the DJ booth while still mixing--now that's dedication! He even checked in with us during the reception to see if we wanted to adjust anything. He also went completely above and beyond for us. He included uplighting and speakers for both our ceremony and reception sites, which was a huge help. He even custom-mixed the song for our first dance, cutting it perfectly to match our choreographed routine! And after the ceremony, he kindly left a mic and speaker setup for us so we could easily corral everyone for group photos. It's those thoughtful details that make all the difference. Kyle is a super cool, super chill guy who perfectly matched our vibe. If we were to get married all over again (which we don't plan on!), we would choose him in a heartbeat. He also ensured flawless music service at the ceremony and the reception, which was no easy feat as our wedding was at the San Diego Safari Park and he had to move all his equipment between two locations that were far apart. He also made a short highlights video for us at the reception that was awesome, it showed everyone dancing and having a great time. There was a slight mishap with our original requested photobooth the week before our wedding, but he had a comparable replacement for us which worked out well! The market lighting he put up looked amazing and really transformed the reception venue.
