I felt pretty debilitated by the time I went for treatment on my knee at Total Recovery PT. It wasn't a major injury but it was really impacting my walking, sitting and sleep. What I was struck with right from the start was how kind and attentive Dr. Zuckerman was in the way he really listened to my account of my pain and mobility issues. I haven't used PTs much, and was expecting to be simply hooked up to machines and left to lie on a bench for the entirety of each visit. But not here! Here I got incredibly personalized and caring hands-on treatment that really got to the heart of my knee issue--in fact, I'm now in better shape after my series of treatments than before my accident! What I especially appreciated about working with Dr. Zuckerman is that he is passionate about his work, and extremely knowledgeable about anatomy and treatment options. As a very active adult, it's important to me to recover from injuries as quickly and fully as possible. I saw Dr. Zuckerman for two unrelated issues, and not only was he extremely knowledgeable regarding getting me back to my activities, he was very helpful in advising me how to strengthen the areas to prevent problems in the future. Dr. Z took the time to explain exactly what the root cause of my issues were, and how each aspect of therapy would help to fix them. The experience I had with my therapy at TRPT was second to none! The amazing staff is exceptionally friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I started PT within a week of surgery, from my first visit Jack and staff were very in tune with what I was going through. Took it easy on me at first but progressed me along with no pain. I came to Dr. Z after a wrist injury from dance and I was in a brace for about 2-3 months. Treatment was intense but Dr. Z made it fun.
