Most of the staff here were absolutely amazing with the exception of one nurse, who was rude, obnoxious and honestly has no need to be in nursing (at least in my opinion). Anyone who works in Healthcare has an amazingly difficult job, but they need to remember that they are seeing many people at the worse times in their lives. Compassion needs to lead every conversation. Most of the staff here were incredible.

I recently visited HCA Florida Lake Monroe to visit a friend who was admitted and had surgery the day prior. That was my second time visiting someone at that location. The staff I interacted with on both occasions were friendly and helpful. The check-in receptionist is always welcoming. Even the staff we asked for additional directions and cafeteria hours stopped what they were doing and without hesitation answered our questions.

I had injured my foot a couple weeks ago and was looking for a doctor who specializes in foot and ankle who could help me read my MRI results and tell me what to do next. We called here on a Wednesday and got an appointment at this location for Friday. Though it is far from my home, I am so so glad that we went ! The place is clean and tidy, the workers and the staff were very nice to me . We were seen on time and they took me back to do x rays and then the doctor saw me , all within a half an hour. Their technology for x rays is top notch and the doctor gave things to me straight and was very honest with me about everything. At the end , an ankle brace was suggested, they said theirs cost about 108 dollars but that I could find a cheaper one on Amazon and they even printed me out the Amazon listing! They cares about me enough to not charge me their over priced one and that showed that they valued my care and time for this appt. It was one of those places that you just feel comfortable at and you feel like you're in good hands! I would recommend the orthopedic center to anyone

Dr. Shamoun's staff were available for phone calls and very helpful. The surgery center was new and clean. My nurses Grace, Barbi, Shanell, and Desinee were all very kind and caring.
