Joe was fast, professional and thorough without all of the nonsense of the "professional" chain store oil change outfits. The oil change was truly priced as $ 19.99 plus tax. Most others advertise $ 19.99 but then add filter charges, oil disposal charges, etc. etc. and ultimately the bill adds up to more than the advertised price. Not so at Joe's. In addition to the oil change, he checked other fluids and topped off my power steering fluid at no additional charge. Seem like a small thing? Well, I know that other places just don't provide that level of detail. So, if you're looking for fast, professional and oil changes at the right price....go to Joe's on South Street in Whitman.

The owner told us upfront what the cost would be but said he would look at it and let us know...the next day he got back to us and told us the only thing we needed was a $24 part, which he had already replaced. He could have easily just done the transmission job and we would never had known the difference. We had originally taken this to our dealership and they told us there was a 2-3 week wait for the car to even be looked at and it would cost $300 just for them to look at it. I wish this place was a full auto service shop as I would bring all of our cars here for service. If you need transmission work this is the place to go!

I thought it was funny considering I'm right here trying to make the deal. He asked me out of curiosity, what I would pay to take he car? Nothing was discussed with me and I did not receive a report about what was "wrong" with my tires replaced in 2022 and brakes replaced in 2023. I also don't appreciate a link for details about my particular service appointment being posted on a global forum for anyone to read, especially while not receiving them myself until my complaint. In addition, in the hour you had my car with no updates to me, the tires were not rotated or pressure checked, as I'd been meaning to do that myself - had the information front and center on my dash to remind myself. The pressure in all were still not equal and were in the same place they were upon dropping off. Fluids were not topped off as I had to fill my empty wiper fluid less than a week after my service. I would have loved the service you promised, but no communication and half the service not done in double the time estimated is why I gave this review.

Hello all, My name…read moreis Scott, I'm 51 years old and live in Brockton Massachusetts I believe in this day & age that reviews on the internet are critical to a business success or failure if you are like me you read the reviews prior to doing business with some establishments. I will try to explain my situation in a brief review, I purchased my car from a local dealer The Garage located on Main St. In Brockton, this dealer is hands the best dealer on the planet, they go above and beyond to keep their customers happy. I've had my car approximately 7 months and I've been nothing but satisfied with my purchase however on October 5th my engine went a common problem in the Volkswagen, I was smart enough to purchase the extended warranty from them so the repair is covered under the warranty. I contacted the garage and had my car towed to a repair shop in Avon now here's where the fun began this repair shop we truly unqualified to repair my vehicle I have not had my car for approximately 7 weeks now, I contacted The Garage again told them that I wanted the car taken from my current repair shop and brought to someone who knew what they were doing. Yesterday the dealer brought my car to Laham, today I spoke to Fred who I must say seems to be a genius when it comes to cars he knew exactly what the problems were told me he would order only VW parts not aftermarket parts like most repair shops. At approximately seven-thirty tonight I received a call from Fred giving me a status update on my car this is less than 12 hours of him having my vehicle now after not having my car for 7 weeks to have an auto mechanic with the courtesy and understanding of my situation to actually call me at 7:30 at night is truly remarkable to me. Expecially when he is trying to repair another mechanics butcher job done to my car. If this is any sign of how this shop is then I'm sure my car will be repaired above and beyond what I expect. I will follow up this post with another in regards to the quality of work that they have done on my car I have no doubt in my mind that it will be nothing but Triple A
