About a year later my truck started making worse noises and I had saved up for this work to be done. I called Matt and he vaguely remembered me. I informed him of our previous inspection, and he went over the work and cost. I told him I would drop the truck off, and he informed me of his key drop box. We decided to only do one of the repairs so he charged us $800 instead. He never told us our parts would be aftermarket, nor did he ask our preference. He did do a rebuild on mine. He may not be the cheapest but do you really want that guy? No, you want the guy that knows what he's doing and has the tools, shop and experience to do it right. However the response was that they don't install parts purchased from the customer . I had a follow up with a question which was why don't they install parts pre purchased - because I'd like to have a warranty on my parts . The response was "we don't provide warranty " , which I knew they wouldn't provide warranty on my parts since I pre purchased my part with its own warranty and they didn't answer if they do provide warranty on their own parts and labor . My main question was why don't they install pre purchased parts and I was hoping they gave me another option alternative option. It was a missed opportunity was they didn't give me another option for the service, such as offering me warranty on parts and labor if I used their service/business . Maybe even educating me as a future client as to the why their business doesn't do that . Overall the response was quick but my question wasn't answered .
