I needed an expensive bottle of champagne for my friend's stock the bar party, so I decided to see if Total Wine had anything good, and boy did they! From wine to beer to liquor, they literally had EVERYTHING. I really liked how the store was organized. There is so much so it is overwhelming, but there are employees there to readily help. The store is extremely clean too. I was looking for Veuve, and it took me a second to find, but once I found it, there were so many options to pick from. I went with the classic, of course. When I was checking out, they even had wine gift bags for purchase. I liked this, so I bought one. I hate Siegen lane, so I don't like how the store is located here, but all in all it was a great experience! read more

We were greeted upon entering and they were stocking up. The shelves are always neat and fully stocked. It never cease to amaze me. There is always something to see. The craftsmanship on some of these bottles are fantastic and gorgeous. Im NOT a drinker so I could not tell you what's the best and how anything tasted lol... I was in her with my husband and just started taking pics so I could do a review The staff as nice and helpful and working diligently to get customers in and out. The stores very clean and have just about everything you could ever want but the staff just makes it a horrible experience. Everyone one of them is rude and if you look under 40 you just get stared down and it's very uncomfortable. Very unpleasant and unprofessional experience, will not be returning at all. read more

This place is dangerous. We went in just to browse and walked out with a whole bunch of stuff. Hubs is a whiskey and cigar person. The cigar area was awesome. So many options for ppl who like that. The have so many wines and the next runner up is the variety of whiskeys. They had so many options in one place and the prices were not high like I thought they would be. We even found the smaller bottle of Johnnie walker blue label which is almost unheard of. He has been wanting to sample before buying the expensive bottle so this was awesome to see. 10 stars for tim who helped us pick our new favorite sauv blanc. We usually drink new zealand style but we took him up on a new area, and it was phenomenal! (gotta gate keep so it stays stocked). Tim was professional, patient without hovering, and kind. Outstanding employee who helped expedite our shopping. Also love that Tim did not push expensive bottles on us- he respected that we were sticking to budget friendlies. The cashiers are always friendly, efficient, and quick. They make the appropriate amount of small talk too. My only issue was that i specifically came here to use my $20 off $100 coupon and spent $160, but didn't realize the coupon was only on select types of wine- my own fault. At least I know for next time! Still an A+ experience and we will be back for sure. read more

I usually have good experiences here so 3 stars for that but what concerns me is this: I called to see if they had an aged bottle of whiskey that's pretty hard to find and the employee on the phone actually placed me on hold and then came back and said yes. We were less than 5mins away. Went in and were told right off the bat that NO in fact they had none. 2 employees were adamant without looking that you had none. Finally one said he would go check. He came out with one and apologized. I had been told that the reason behind this is because employees buy these and sell them for twice as much if not more. Kinda seemed strange but I believe it now. Not a great practice to do this. In fact we actually had an employee once say they had it but that she couldn't sell it because it was for her. That was Lafayette. Just let people order these for online pick up and you can resolve any questionable behavior here. Just my suggestion. read more

After eying this location for a while, I finally made it in to grab a few items for a NYE event. Total Wine has a little bit of everything. They had bubbles right by the door, decently priced, and convenient to grab. I had one of them at a previous event, so I grabbed a few bottles. This particular day, the store had a sprinkling of customers. It was my first visit, so it took a little wandering to get the lay of the land. I like how there are regional selections and varietal selections. I also ran into another customer who said their app is really good. I did have an employee assist me, and I told him my price point and the style, boldness level, and taste I was looking for in a particular variety, and he didn't really listen to me. He went for one that was a good bit over my point, and I felt more or less like he was trying to "school" me on what I like. I got him down to the price range I was looking at, but when we opened it later that week, the flavor profile was way off what I wanted. The other bottle he suggested had the same issue. I think he led us to his preference. I know pallets vary and taste is different for some, but at the two locally owned stores I have been to, the selected wines were on point. He was very friendly and he was helpful, he just didn't seem to understand what I was saying. Also, while the store was not full, there was only one person checking anyone out while standing there for a line of 10. Total Wine is great for buying in bulk or ordering ahead and having curbside delivery, but I will probably lean in to the local places in town as I my satisfaction level there has been better. read more

We love the huge selection at Total Wine and the service is usually top notch. But today something was off. I stopped to ask a masked woman in customer service some questions about my membership. She appeared to rather be anywhere else then there speaking to me. I decided to find someone else in the store to get further assistance. This staff member was very kind and helpful. We made our selections and went to check out. Once again we we're met with another employee who had no expression, and no life. She mechanically rung up our items and sent us on our way. I really hope this was just an off day for Total Wine and not the new norm. read more

This store is HUGE, if you don't know what you're looking for just ask any employee. They was very helpful. So many isles, filled with almost everything you want. I day almost only because they don't carry Huckleberry Vodka at the Baton Rouge location. I wasn't expecting them to as we can't seem to find it anywhere in this State. My niece was humiliated and harassed by the female cashiers. My niece goes to the siegen lane location quite often. She does work for ppl, picking up items for them. She unfortunately suffers from anemia. She goes in and doesn't bother anyone, she is usually in and out quickly. Well the young ladies at the register have rushed her many times, thrown the items and handled her unprofessionally as if they know her or as if there's some personal problem between her and them but she doesn't know any employee there personally, so I am not sure where the hate for her is coming from. She will be wearing a small hidden camera from here now on and will take further action if this happens again. Everyone else who works on the floor seemed helpful or at least not judgemental. This is the only work that my niece can do at the moment due to her being anemic, so it's unfortunate to have people giving her a hard time. The ladies at the register really need retraining and to learn to treat everyone with respect no matter what they look like or dress like. read more

Hugeeeeee selection of literally everything. This is literally heaven for wine, liquor, or beer lovers! I was able to restock my home bar and also pick up local brands here too. The only thing that bothered me was the extremely tight checkout lanes and the flies. No matter where i went in the store there was a fly buzzing near me. Now what's crazy is when this building used to be Office Depot they had a ridiculous issue with flies which is why I stopped going there. Great place to shop for wine and spirits. They're very helpful, knowledgeable and patient with their clientele. They have staff constantly stocking and they even have a wine sampling station. They have EVERYTHING ! Wine domestic and international as well as spirits. They have plenty of gift packages to. It was a bit overwhelming so if you don't have time or have the need to scour every isle then hit up the liquor store. If you have a one track mind and can come in when in a bind this is your place ! came in just to grab some sake for myself while my underage friend tried to buy sprite cranberry (a non alcoholic drink) once we got to the register and tried to buy the liquor, the lady told us she couldnt sell alcohol to us, which was totally okay with me as we were buying christmas gifts too like glasses. We were also told we could not buy anything that was not alcoholic, and instead of explaining calmly to us the situation they referred to me as a 'little girl' even after i showed my id stating that i was infact, 21. The situation itself was understandable, we couldnt buy alcohol because we were with someone who was under 21; but it was the way the staff acted and spoke to us after the situation. The interaction rubbed me the wrong way, as i do not appreciate being treated like a child. If you are on the younger side of the legal drinking age, dont go here because they will disrespect the hell out of you and call you a child! 0/10 would NOT recommend :) Possibly the worst customer service i have ever seen. Even said they were gonna call the cops on a legal adult for attempting to buy a bottle of sake! so yeah, this place SUCKS. read more
