This class was so informative. I really enjoyed learning about the different regions of France that produce champagne learning about the grapes that go in it. I wish I could remember the instructor in his assistance name, but I can't and I'm so mad about that because I usually always write their names down, so I can't forget. Walking in they had snacks and fruit plates, water bottles at our tables brochures to write in our thoughts in our notes on the different wines. Instructions on how to Approach the Wine. See, swirl, sniff, sip. The different glasses, how champagne and sparkling wine is still at its heart of wine. It was a lot of fun. I took my brother and we had a great time and then they gave us 20% off the wines so I got my favorite wine which was the Marie de Moy brut champagne from France. It is a French champagne that was dry with flavors of apple pear a medium body champagne that really packed a punch. That was my favorite. My second favorite was the Mailly Brut Grand Reserve Cru. And that was a dry, cherry, medium bodied champagne. It was just delicious. I am signed up for another class on my birthday August 7. It is a sip and snack pairings so what to put what Wine with what snack snacks I can't wait. !!!

I attended my first wine class at Total Wine -- the Sip n' Snack Pairings -- and it was a good experience. The 90-minute class was held upstairs and hosted by the store manager along with another staff member. We sampled 8 Winery Direct wines (ranging from $12.99 to $29.99), each paired with a different snack. The class was relaxed, the guests were friendly, and it was a great opportunity to try wines I might not have picked on my own. While it's not an all-you-can-drink event, they did offer a little extra splash of your favorite at the end. At $20 per person, it's worth checking out a class that interests you, especially with the 20% same-day discount on Winery Direct wines. Thank you Total Wine!

Let me start by saying, until today, my wife and I have had nothing but excellent experiences at this location. We shop at the location regularly, and all of the staff we have interacted with have been friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Between the two of us, we spend a lot of money there. We have also attended 4 wine tasting classes there in the past, and each time has been very enjoyable. Tonight though, we had a truly shocking experience. We were the first group of 4 to arrive for a wine class. We were greeted with a not so friendly person, who seemed annoyed that we arrived 20 minutes before the start time. We were told we could wait off to the side, and so we were sitting in the seats waiting. Another older woman arrived, and then all of a sudden, Andrew who seemed increasingly upset about something, came to the 5 of us, and said we all had to go back downstairs and wait there. At this point it's about 12 minutes before the start of the class, the food and everything was already set up, so we asked why. We told him that we were regulars, and wanted to know why he was making us go back downstairs, as that was never how they operated in our other occasions there. This really seemed to trigger him, and he said "well you can just not attend the class at all ". We asked him why he was being so rude, and he then told us to leave immediately. We all looked at each other in disbelief. We went downstairs and heard from another group of very nice older ladies, that Andrew had also rudely reprimanded them for trying to come in to the class early as well. On our way out, we ran into Mario, who has taught a couple of our classes and was amazing. We told him what happened, and he apologized for our experience. We think he should be the wine manager, because he's so great, and we really loved his classes. We will be reaching out to corporate, as they should be aware they have a wine manager that is extremely rude, and has zero interest in providing even the most basic customer service.

Cincoro Tequila event with Jeanie, Big Game James & Sasha - The Machine drew a great crowd of Lakers & fans. Special event! The entire staff is helpful, but Andrew and Natalie are absolute Rockstars. They consistently go above and beyond offering exceptional service with a genuine, helpful attitude. They make shopping at the store easy and enjoyable.

I went to Total Wine for a quick trip on a Monday night to pick up some goods. It was very seamless and easy to find what I needed. It didn't feel busy so I got vip parking right in front. It felt like a very clean store and nicely lit. The cashier was very friendly and gave some recommendations when I was checking out. Definitely would come here again.

Broken bottles at the bottom of the six pack. So dangerous yet the store clerk still placed it in a bag for the delivery man.

Got stuff from Uber Eats and half the order was missing. The store refused to shop the Items and one six pack was packaged with only half the beers and the other with 2 broken bottles that were empty. I almost sliced my hand wide open when unpacking. Never again will I use or trust this store

My husband and I have purchased online in the past, but it was great to be able to walk into a store. They have their own private lot (or you can opt for street parking if it is available). They had a sign up advertising their tasting events, and we miraculously walked into a Cazcanes tasting (the tail end of it). The staff greeted us warmly and we passed quite a bit of wine and went to the bar/area reserved for tastings. They were getting ready to wrap it up, but were able to accommodate us for a few last minute tastes. They had the Blanco, Repo, Anejo, and recently released Joven. The representative gave us a brief overview of the brand and let us take some stickers and information cards. They really knew their stuff and were welcoming any and all feedback and questions. I was bummed because I liked the Joven and they were already sold out at this spot. We later ended up at another location to purchase this bottle. After the tasting we toured the store and looked at their collections of spirits--whiskey, vodka, tequila, gin, etc. And also perused the wines. I only wish that I had more time to look at their selection. I already know that if we had any inquiries, the staff would've been glad to help us out. I will make sure to stop in again if I'm in the area since this spot was well organized, had friendly staff, and were eager to assist with any comments or questions or concerns.

The people that work here have always been great too. It's been a while since my last visit, but I've been coming here for years. I've really only bought craft beer from here; maybe a bottle of whiskey or two. But the wine wall looks pretty stacked, including a lot of the natural wine, which seems to be pretty popular these days. Their craft beer selection even includes rarities that you don't usually see in the area, e.g. some beer I bought on this visit from Trillium located in Boston. There's also a counter where you can order a limited amount of drinks they have at any given time. The menu is located above the counter area. And on Friday nights I think they have food vendors that rotate. They even have a limited amount of grocery items for sale, but I always get distracted with the whiskey and beer - I look past the food items except for the doggy biscuits I bought for my friend this time. Definitely a great shop and a great spot for that stretch of Washington Boulevard.

We came on a late Monday afternoon and, lucky for us, they have a bar special on Mondays: No corkage fee! They also have Happy Hour-- Monday to Friday from 3-6pm. The Chardonnay was divine! I would totally return and purchase another bottle. We also ordered a charcuterie board and took advantage of their happy hour special for $20 (pick two-- one cheese and one meat). We opted for the 'Humboldt Fog' Chèvre as our cheese option and the Bresaola for our meat option. Both were delicious, but the chèvre was truly exquisite. We shared one charcuterie board with five people and it was enough; however if you're on the hungry side, I suggest two charcuterie boards for five or six people. In addition to meat and cheese, it comes with crackers, some pickled veggies, onion jam, candied nuts, whole grain Dijon, and apple slices. On the left side of the venue you have your variety of wine options; on the right side, there's the bar and some tables, plus a small area with other snacks for purchase that pair nicely with wine or beer. They even sell the Torres truffle chips! My only complaint is the service, unfortunately. The lady at the cashier was super friendly, however the bar tender was not so welcoming. When he came over to our table to open our wine bottle, he didn't greet us, smile, or say anything. He took our bottle and opened it and then asked who was going to taste. Not sure if he thought we didn't speak English since we were speaking another language when he came to our table, but overall, we all noticed his attitude and thought it was rather unwelcoming. Because of this experience, I rate this place a 4/5, however, everything else was great!
