I'm in Humble TX. The Deerbrook store is where I usually shop. Love the store but recently the manger there was really weird. He kept insinuating about people stealing. He walked right up while I was purchasing my goods and started saying they was watching me and that people keep stealing. At First I didn't take it personal until he went into detail and went on and on. Obviously he profiled me to the point to the point I literally did a pat down on myself. Low and behold Total wine had it all. We live in a very small country town with a Walmart, food lion, and DG basically on every corner. We decided to take a trip once a month just to come here. Very good selection choose from even though they don't carry a lot of wines from Virginia. I do have a lot to choose from.

Today I visited with no expectation of what to expect. Wow! I was blown away by all of the different selections, customer service, and amenities they have. Evidently this place is a chain but this one is locally owned and operated. They have aisles and aisles of wine. Very unique varietals and brands. They also have a lot of local selections. There are aisles with snacks and aisles with games. Everything that has to do with having a good time. There are wine tastings and even a room for events. They have a whole cigar section, too. I love of the hard kombucha selections . The employees were helpful and it was super clean and organized. I think everyone would love this place and I can imagine that I will be buying a lot of gift cards for here. read more

When I moved to Wilmington, there was a major store I was missing from my home city, and that was Total Wine. To say I was pumped when I saw a new one was taking the place of EarthFare is an understatement. I went on their grand opening and was very impressed with how large the space was, but also how many varieties they had of beverages but also, how many helpful employees were there to guide me to what I was looking for. Now I tend to be a wine snob and love some Italian Wine. Total Wine is one of the few places to carry Vernaccia, from the San Gimignano region so that was the first thing I headed for. They had two different brands, and I grabbed both. Additionally, I am a bubbly girl, so I headed to the Champagne. Similar to my regular wine, I tend to be picky with my bubbles, and they had so many choices, not to mention helpful workers, to give me some new suggestions that I decided to snag. Their beer selection is just as impressive as their wine selection. So many various brands and so many from North Carolina. They also have one of the largest build your own 6 pack sections that I have seen in a Total Wine. Lastly, I was very excited to see the large non alcoholic section of Total Wine. I have a friend who is currently pregnant and I know from experience what it is like to be the one left out, so I grabbed her a bottle of non alcoholic Sauvignon Blanc BUT they also had non alcoholic liquor so I grabbed a "tequila" to try out some margaritas with her. Really impressed with this new store and super excited to return and look a little more and see what I find! read more
