We had a great experience traveling with al haram international this year for Hajj. The…read moreaccommodations and transportation were well planned. Stay in Makkah was close to the Haram for the entire duration (as opposed to other packages within the same price range that shift you to the suburbs closer to Hajj). The days of the manasik were also very well planned with regards to proper and timely fulfillment of the rites of Hajj. They were very open to suggestions and made the appropriate changes based on the feedback if needed. The brother who coordinated the trip (Zulqarnain) usually goes with the group but this year was unable to due to necessity. Despite his physical absence he was very involved via text and always available for questions. In his stead Brother Nouaman accompanied the group and was a great help along the way. The group benefited a lot from the guidance of our scholar Maulana Hamza with regards to issues relating to jurisprudence and motivation. The immediate group is of a smaller size (just over 30 travelers) however they coordinate with a larger and older group out of Detroit, which works out quite well because it retains the charm and family-like feeling of a small group with the provisions and organization of a large group. I would definitely recommend this group as your option for Hajj.

We have used them for years for travel to Jamaica, Europe, even to NYC for a museum trip and have never had a bad experience. Sometimes I do a little research and say can we stay at this hotel, and they always honor that without sounding like they are disappointed in such a request. They were even able to help us out a few years ago when we realized that our daughters passports were going to expire so we had to get expedited service. We live in Chicago and it was hard to research/contact hotels and vendors in Puerto Vallarta. We knew that we didn't want the typical hotel package for our wedding (and we definitely didn't want to pay the typical tourist rates!!), so we needed some help from someone on the ground in Mexico. Lucky for us, we came across the opportunity to work with Jeniffer and Rebeca at The Event Mexico - they were absolutely wonderful!! Most importantly, they helped us create our perfect wedding while staying well within our budget. They negotiated incredible rates for us with the hotel and all the vendors - we would not have been able to afford our wedding without their local knowledge, contacts, and negotiation skills. A lot of hotels have an onsite wedding coordinator for destination weddings, however those coordinators are often unable or unwilling to customize the wedding details. They usually offer a couple of packages depending on what you can afford, but they don't work with you to pick out your perfect centerpieces, flowers, dance floor, rehearsal dinner set-up, etc. Jen and Rebeca took care of ALL of this and more. We got everything we wanted on a very limited budget. Another reason I loved working with Jen and Rebeca was the rehearsal dinner. At our rehearsal dinner, many of our guests asked me "how is the wedding going to be better than this??" We had a BBQ on the beach with miami style lounge sofas, lantern lighting, and latin lounge music playing in the background. It was such a great party and precursor to our wedding, which of course exceeded everyone's expectations. I can't say enough about how amazing our wedding was. So many of our friends and family are still talking about it (6 months later...). Everyone said it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to. For all of this and much more, we are forever grateful to Jen and Rebeca... Thank you for making our dreams come true!

She was taken away from getting pictures taken at the church to go and handle this mess. She had a contract and they want to alter it after the fact? Who does business like that? Additionally, the driver got lost trying to pick us up in the Loop when we got done taking pictures, causing us to arrive to our reception late. I get it. Stuff happens. As a company, when you get an upset customer, you apologize and try to make the situation right. My husband complained about the service; they were unapologetic, and the only consolation they offered was not charging us overtime for arriving to our reception a half hour after planned. (Yes, if you read the previous paragraph, you'll realize the reason why we were late was because their driver.) After our honeymoon, my husband and I began writing reviews for our wedding vendors. He gave them a poor rating on WeddingWire and Yelp. Shortly after, they called him, asking him to take down the review, saying they would charge us the $250 in overtime. He did not take it down, and later that day saw the $250 charge on the card. I work in public relations/marketing, and I have NEVER seen a more unethical social media strategy. Blackmailing your unhappy customers to pipe down is a new low. Thus, I feel a responsibility to share this story wherever I can to warn other couples. I don't doubt the authenticity of the positive reviews. I'm suggesting there might be more to W-Limo's story that they don't want you to hear.
