Specifically, I really have found that the OEM windshield can be low quality and that the best brand for my specific car is Pilkington. Knowing this, they assured me that they could get that and supported this choice. As the system typically accounts for consumers that simply throw any aftermarket windshield on as an insurance replacement, it can be tricky to work within the system to get the best available option, but this location has done very well with keeping me updated, notifying me of any delays, and making sure that my schedule has minimal interruptions. All jobs that they have done for me have been great with exception to one that did not seal properly, which they resolved without issue. Definitely recommend going in with an understanding with what you want, how your policy works, and accounting for logistical delays. Also recommend doing in the shop instead of mobile, especially during extreme weather like heat or cold to optimize the work environment for the technician. Their mobile jobs are still good though.

I left work early and lost pay to make the appointment. After waiting over an hour, I was told the replacement windshield was scratched and couldn't be used. They had already started working on my car without checking the glass first, so I then had to wait even longer for them to put everything back together completely wasting my time and gas. I was rescheduled, and now I'm being told to reschedule again during the workweek, which means losing even more income. Meanwhile, I'm still driving with a damaged windshield that may not pass Massachusetts inspection. Safelite advertises "Safelite repair, Safelite replace" and promotes convenience and reliability, but my experience has been the complete opposite. They did not follow through on what they promise. I also asked recommendations and they gave their advice and didn't push towards a particular brand. Instead he asked my to do my own research on amazon. I called another shop right before and felt this shop was much more trustworthy -- the other shop had absurd labor costs and said they only do BlackVues. Though I decided to save money and install myself. But I still recommend this shop for the trustworthy experience I had.
