I followed my insurance company's recommendation and used Medford Auto Center for repairs on my electric vehicle. Although they are certified to repair electric vehicles, they weren't able to (which is understandable) so they had it towed to a dealership for my make of car (also understandable). However, instead of towing it to one a few miles away in a neighboring town where we bought it, they towed it to LEOMINSTER, where it remains, three months later, at a shop that is barely working on it and hasn't figured out what's wrong with it. When I asked the guys why they had it towed to Leominster, they said that they had a relationship with them, which I'm sure is true, but is a terrible reason to send a car 50+ miles away to a shop that is unprofessional and won't complete the repairs in a timely manner. Initially, Medford Auto Group also tried to give me back the car when there was a warning message on the startup screen, telling me that it "should go away while driving" and to bring it back if it didn't. Well, it didn't go away, and instead I got stranded when the car wouldn't even open with the manual key and it had to be towed again. That they were willing to say "hey good enough, don't worry about this warning light" and send me on my way with the car was pretty unprofessional. Because the car needed more work at that point, we had it taken directly to the dealership, but our dealer won't touch it because it was already taken to a different dealership, so back to Leominster it went. I have no doubt that if you have an uncomplicated repair this place can take care of it fine. But if it requires any kind of work outside their wheelhouse, expect them to prioritize their relationships over the customer experience. read more

WARNING ! Read this whole review so you won't have any regrets later . If you care about your car , don't take it to this place ! I was deceived by the positive reviews and the fact the body shop looked fairly new . My 2016 Toyota Highlander was hit on the driver's side and needed repair on the front fender, side mirror ,driver's door ,passenger door , rear quarter panel , rear bumper , rear wheel . When i dropped my vehicle , i was told it would take about two to three weeks to have repaired . Vehicle was left on a Monday with the insurance check . I went back to get something in the car on Thursday and 60% of the work was already done . The other 40% took another 2 months !!! When the time came to pick my car , My weathertech winter mats were gone ! Rear bumper had over 1 inch gap from the quarter panel , the bottom of passenger door had a gap of over 2 inches from the body of the vehicle .It was supposed to be completely closed( This is unbelievable ! ) , Driver seatbelt was jammed , happened when they tried to fix the gap on the passenger door , the car had a nasty cigarette odor inside (Car was bought new and no one ever smoked inside ) . I told them to fix what was wrong and gave them another week . When i came to pic it up again i notice a scratch on the passenger door that was replaced .They tried to buff it out but couldn't . I also notice they painted over a dent on the front fender and a dent on the driver door that they were supposed to fix and Instead of installing i new side mirror (paid by the insurance ) they just replaced the glass on the old one that got hit and now it's falling apart because the glue they used couldn't hold it together( This i noticed two months after pick up as the glue weakened ) . The gas tank lid wasn't even painted on the inside and they had to do it over . They also left my engine compartment covered in bodyshop dust ! They also left overspray on windshield ( Professional places always go over and remove overspray ) .When i left the vehicle i told them to take a good care of the car that i would leave a great review about it . That's how they took care of it . Positive reviews can left by friends , employees , family members and people who don't know how to inspect their vehicles so be careful in what you chose to believe . I took the car home and after noticing other faults in different light conditions i went back to tell them what kind of review i'd be leaving . One of the managers told me that i caused the dents on the front fender and driver door . Then i showed him that there was no damage to the clear coat and paint and the dents were clearly ignored by the bodyman . He was lost for words at the moment and said i should do whatever i wanted regarding the review . I wish i could leave a 0 Star review . Now You know ! There is a reason they have 5 stars - these guys are the real deal. They are kind, work with you, communicate, and do great work. John is friendly and caring. Oscar is talented beyond words. My car was returned clean and fixed. Don't look anywhere else, come here first!! UPDATE (2019)! When I got rear ended almost 2 years after first discovering Medford Auto Center, I wasn't stressed because I knew I could count on the guys at Medford Auto Center - and I was right! They helped me navigate a not so user friendly insurance company, replaced my bumper in less than a week, and returned my car detailed on the inside and out. I'll tell anyone who will listen - you can trust these guys and feel assured knowing they will do a spectacular job. Not to mention the entire team are genuinely good people. When I was recently involved in a pretty bad accident I honestly thought I'd never drive the car again but I brought it to them anyways. I have been to Medford Auto Center once before my last experience here just a few weeks ago. I decided to return because the owner, John helped me tremendously a few years ago when I got into an accident. I was in a tough situation with my insurance and John was able to talk to my insurance company and also made me feel like things we're going to work out well in the end. My boyfriend and I were in an accident about a month ago and I knew instantly I would take it back to see John at Medford auto center. The Mazda we brought in had a significant amount of damage to the front of the car. Since we could not use insurance, John worked with us to find the best parts at the lowest possible price. My boyfriend who knows quite a lot about cars was so impressed with the end result! The car truly looks brand new. John is personable, professional and patient - he even spoke to the insurance company for me to navigate the claim I filed and coordinated getting my rental car. Came here for a fender bender repair. Friendly staff and excellent repair skills. Car looks brand new! They even detail the inside and wash the outside, they give you the real VIP treatment. The whole process was seamless. I had another scratch on my car from an unrelated incident, they were aware that I was a nurse and they fixed the scratch free of charge as a thank you for being a healthcare worker during the pandemic. Highly recommend! When my brand new car got a nasty dent in one of the doors, I was so upset, but these people turned everything around. They were friendly, polite, professional, they patiently explained things in detail and worked with me through the whole process. They made it very easy for me. I was recently involved in a car accident and required some repairs along with some body work on my Chrysler 300, my baby. Lol I had heard good things about this place but had never been there and wanted to be sure I went to a top of the line shop. I was very pleased that I made the decision to try this shop. From the time I walked in the door until I was handed my keys back after the repairs were done I was treated like a VIP customer, which I wasn't lol I was waited on by John who thoroughly explained everything to me and even was able to answer a few questions I had regarding insurance. My repair was delayed by a day because of dealer stock and Rafael called me every step of the way to explain the minor delay and inform me when my car would be ready. I certainly appreciated that. When I picked my car up it looked brand new again. The work they did to my car was superb. They even had my car detailed for me because they felt bad about the delay. I was blown away. The shop was very busy but I don't mind because it is on the recommended list of auto body shops from AAA and Commerce Insurance. I got my car back the week after and the quality was superb.
