Both Melissa and Nick have done phenomenal jobs on her and I am most impressed by how the management communicates! We had to reschedule her appt based on the holidays and they did everything they could to accommodate. They made it happen! I am VERY particular about the quality of care for every member of my family and do not compromise. Furryland Land exceeds all of my expectations.

Anxious dog or difficult traveling to salon - this is your answer. Our 5 year old, 70lb Golden…read moreRetriever Sonny, grew increasingly anxious for trips to the groomer to the point he laid down in the middle of a busy parking lot and refused to move. I learned about Furry Land on a fb neighborhood group. We have used their services for over a year now and we couldn't be happier. Appointments are easy to make online and communication via text messages are convenient. The mobile salon van arrives on time and the groomers are all so nice, professional and caring. This time Grace traveled to us in the frigid Temps (when all the schools are closed type of cold) and greeted us with a smile. She took time to talk to me about Sonny and the plan for the grooming service. She listened and gave Sonny pets and attention before taking him to the van. With Sonny right out front in the van I had less anxiety too and no time traveling to drop him off or pick him up as he was right there. I went about my weekend chores while Sonny got washed and trimmed. After about 1 hour and 20 minutes Sonny and Grace returned and He was still anxious and excited but no car ride to extend his anxiety, I was able to comfort him immediately. While we talking about how the service went and finishing up, Sonny had a little bleeding from his front nail and Grace noticed it and went into action. She examined his paw then ran out to bring in the quick clot and apply. The bleeding stopped right away. Grace reassured us that the bleeding was likely increased due to his anxiety and pressure being up, it would heal and it did. Sonny looked like himself again! No more Grinch Paws and his fur was shiny and soft. Our fluff ball was back. The full service costs about $25-30 more than our previous groomer but it is well worth it for us. Honestly without this option I don't know what we will do so I hope they continue this awesome service for all the pets like our Sonny. Besides all the convenience, I have to say how thankful we are for the great staff! These people are truly all incredible with such sweet personalities that make us feel very comfortable- big big Thank you Grace and team.

I trended the first group training session which consisted of exercises of slamming a door on your dog's head to keep them from trying to run through as well as using your knee to keep your dog from jumping up on you when they see you. During the session as we were waiting for an opportunity to practice slamming our dog's head in a door, the owner Amy Ammon singled me out (from pop a line of 15 people), approached me and in one of the most condescending interactions I've ever had with another human being berated me and said, "no one is going to do this for you." Yes, Amy. I'm fat and when I take my dog for a walk (or training), I generally don't wear a business suit or even Lulu Lemon athleisure. I'm sorry if my comportment is detestable for you. But you clearly need professional psychological help and have exactly zero business running an animal training facility. Needless to say I did not return for any addition sessions. When I asked for a refund they refused to give me even a prorated refund citing that I was clearly an unfit pet owner. Please for the sake of humanity, the universe, and your pet's, NEVER patronize this establishment.

I last trained this past summer and continue to use email and text for advice and guidance. Amy will help you get the best success from your dog according to their demeanor, behaviors and training needs. Treats can be used however, it's the trainer's choice and not necessary. What I love is that the dogs are trained with positive praise and reinforcement rather than treats if desired. They learn to respond to your voice and reward of attention rather than being tied to a bag of treats. Corrective collars are used when recommended but not required and not cruel or used for punishment. They are just that. Corrective, a reminder and help with communication. Amy explains and instructs on behaviors and rationale behind the dogs behavior which help you understand your dogs motives and needs more. She really spends individual time with real time feedback to clients. During each class, you will be working with your dog along side others the entire time with short instructions/demonstrations from Amy which means you get more real time working with your pup rather than listening to lengthy instructions and little time to work. I've really enjoyed the classes and have had great results. We tend to take hour dogs with us on many occasions, out to dinner, camping, parks, events and hotels and get much attention from others on how well behaved and comfortable the dogs are in their environment. Kids and adults alike may approach them as well as other dogs, even crabby ones on occasion and they are nonreactive and friendly. I will continue to train every year to keep the dogs engaged! I highly recommend amiable dog training to beginners and advanced as well. I also recommend for a consult for specific behaviors and wellness. Thank you Amiable Dog training for all you do!

I don't know how new the store is but it's definitely not a legacy store like Whole Foods from the beginning of the mall. While I was there I looked at the cats for adoption and inquired about the adoption process and I was surprised at how easy it is and a filly fixed 3 year old cat with all its vaccines is only $40, I have been adopting cats for years from shelters and never paid that little ever so it's very affordable. The young woman with the glasses was very helpful on the adoption process and I asked some questions that the regular person probably wouldn't ask and she was honest about not having the knowledge on some of my questions. Overall a great experience and I will make this my new location

I got a discount as a first time customer on their site and the filter was promised to be delivered in one day. We left for dinner that evening where I received an email and a text stating that my order had been delivered. On returning home and searching both entrance areas I found no order anywhere on our property. I did chat with their service representative, who looked up the order and agreed that it had been listed as delivered, but there was no attending photo on the text or email which was their usual requirement. He replaced the order at no charge and it was delivered promptly the next day. It was disappointing that the item hadn't arrived as promised due to either the DoorDash driver not fulfilling their responsibility or delivering it to the wrong address. But the service PetCo provided via their service representative was exceptional. This won't stop me from ordering items from PetCo in the future.

I brought her in and told them I wanted her to get a complete summer cut. I specified trimming up her face so she could see (long beard and eyebrows), shaving down her privates, thinning out her entire coat, and trimming her belly/legs/chest. I also specifically said NOT to tear out her ear hairs, to trim them instead. It took four hours, and when I picked her up I could see her face! I loved seeing her feet all shaped nicely and her nails trimmed, so I paid the $100 and took her home. When I got home and was able to look at her, I realized that her face and feet were the only thing that they listened to me on. There was dried blood in her ears showing they absolutely did rip out her hair against my direction. Yes her butt was shaved, and her face was trimmed, but the rest of her was quite literally untouched. I had to wing it in my backyard with household scissors just to get her hair down to a reasonable length. I will NOT be returning, this amount of work was worth $40 at most.

Angie is a coward with subpar work! I've only dealt with her for as long as I did because my dog has anxiety and he was use to her. Dog was bathed every time but never smelled fresh or clean. Nails were not groomed properly. The work was just below basic. The funny part is that they always asked for a tip. She never once followed directions with how I wanted my dog cut. I asked for a puppy cut and she was clueless. Good Riddance. I'm sure I can find better at a cheaper price.

While five minutes may not seem like much, it feels much longer standing outside in mid-February in Wisconsin, especially when you are nine months pregnant with a large elderly dog who struggles to get in and out of the car. The veterinarian himself is kind and respectful. I choose not to elect every vaccine that is recommended, and he does not pressure me, which I appreciate. However, during my first few visits after moving here, the environment felt sales-driven and somewhat judgmental. Over time that has improved. I will also give credit to their technicians who very much love animals. There is also significant paperwork required prior to visits, including liability waivers and consent forms allowing conversations to be recorded and transcribed into notes. While I understand policies exist for a reason, the overall experience feels very corporate rather than personal. This makes me believe they have a higher office they answer to in regard to liability paperwork and sale quotas. I have lived in multiple places over the last eight years and have used several veterinary offices. In my opinion, their pricing is on the higher end compared to other clinics I've used, and there often seems to be a push toward additional services or treatments that don't always feel necessary.
