I moved to Milwaukee for school and decided to find a dentist in the area. My first appointment was…read moregood, nothing special. After that first one, my experiences have been bad. The next cleaning I had the hygienist broke my permanent retainer, so now it cuts into my lower lip. She didn't mention anything and I didn't realize right away but knew something was off. I decide to schedule another cleaning for 6 months. The time comes and a couple hours before the appointment they call to say the hygienist is out sick. A bit annoying but I get it. I reschedule. My next appointment is coming up, they call to say the hygienist is out sick. Okay now it's getting irritating. I reschedule. Now they call saying the provider won't be in the office that day. I didn't realize how hard it is to get a routine cleaning appointment lol. I have never had this problem with any other dentist before. I will definitely be finding a new one.

I've been a satisfied customer for 25 years. However, Dental Associates has turned into is a scam…read more They tricked me. They have their own in-house insurance and they did not tell me it expired, they told me a price, I paid it in cash, and then 7 months later doubled the price and sent me a bill. Thousands of dollars over what both the dentist and the girl at the desk told me. I could have gone to another dentist for half the price, they knew that, so they tricked me. Unbelievable how they get away with this. I would gone minus stars but they don't have this.

Scammers. They spent 5 minutes and took $450 to put in a bridge that lasted 5 hours. I waited 1h…read more30m after the reservation time for this 5m of work. After the bridge fell out (without any use / food), they refused to return my calls and claimed they had told me it could only last one day. They are incompetent liars. They didn't offer any recourse and they told me I was no longer welcome to be a patient merely because I stood up for myself. They have no remorse. Gina Sanfilippo Monteagudo (the COO) even laughed on the phone and thought this was funny. Her husband Roberto Monteagudo owns both clinics. Unlike every clinic I've ever been to, they have you pay in full before anything is done.

The dental work was done well and without pain…read more But, the business has declared me not welcome unless I cover my face with a (completely useless) piece of cloth, and that is not acceptable. It is absolutely astounding that - in July 2023 - a business could be as ridiculous as this. Everyone with a brain knows that COV is about the same as a cold, that *even according to the CDC* cloth masks due nothing to stop the spread of respiratory viruses, that *even according to the CDC* the "vaccines" do not stop transmission, and that, frankly, they are next to useless. That is part of why *according to the CDC* only 17% of Americans, as of this writing, are "fully-vaccinated" with the latest boosters. I had not seen a sign like this - mandating "masks" - *anywhere* in the area, even at my doctor's office (they were holdouts), for close to a year. Wisconsin Smiles, if you wish to be this uneducated, unscientific, and insulting to your customers, that's of course your right, but do be aware that it will cost you business. I was prepared to take my entire (large) family here, but I'll never be back.

If I could give a negative rating with stars, I would. My daughter went in to have some work done,…read morebut they belittled her and made her feel as if she was worthless. Her friends were with her to help her out with anxiety, which is now so severe that most dental offices will not take her; the dentist yelled at her and said he would not touch her unless she paid 3 G's out of pocket. After contacting the insurance company, we were told that her policy covers being knocked out with no issues. When the insurance company tried to contact this dental office, over and over and over again, they refused to answer. Some people are prone to poor teeth. Some people deal with severe depression, where you just don't feel the need to take care of yourself. Some people have such high anxiety and fear that their bodies will react in ways that would scare those around them. Now, her fear is so bad, the anxiety is crippling, and her self-worth is non-existent that she is having a hard time finding any dentist to work with her. So, lying to patients so you don't have them coming back to you, and having their receptionist calling consistently to schedule an appointment with such rudeness really leaves a bad taste in your mouth. If you suffer from fear and anxiety of dentists, this is not the place for you. There are better ones out there.
