Way too expensive in comparison to others. Also they try to get you to sign up for more costs every time.

We never want to have to visit an emergency vet however if you're in need of one I highly recommend coming here.

My experience here has never been that great, but my last visit may be my final one…read more I arrived five minutes early for my 10:00 a.m. appointment and was not allowed inside until the doors unlocked exactly at 10:00. While five minutes may not seem like much, it feels much longer standing outside in mid-February in Wisconsin, especially when you are nine months pregnant with a large elderly dog who struggles to get in and out of the car. The veterinarian himself is kind and respectful. I choose not to elect every vaccine that is recommended, and he does not pressure me, which I appreciate. However, during my first few visits after moving here, the environment felt sales-driven and somewhat judgmental. Over time that has improved. I will also give credit to their technicians who very much love animals. There is also significant paperwork required prior to visits, including liability waivers and consent forms allowing conversations to be recorded and transcribed into notes. While I understand policies exist for a reason, the overall experience feels very corporate rather than personal. This makes me believe they have a higher office they answer to in regard to liability paperwork and sale quotas. I have lived in multiple places over the last eight years and have used several veterinary offices. In my opinion, their pricing is on the higher end compared to other clinics I've used, and there often seems to be a push toward additional services or treatments that don't always feel necessary.

It is ridiculous to wait 2+ weeks to have your pet wait with the discomfort of any type. Might be time to look for a new vet. I hate to leave this vet, but I'm not comfortable waiting that long to see a vet at my dog's expense. Maybe the minor issues don't matter to them anymore as they are too busy.

Overpriced and extremely disappointing service…read more Don't come here if you expect a veterinary hospital to actually be there for an existing patient when your dog needs care. We have been clients here for 5 years. My dog developed an ear problem and was clearly uncomfortable, so we brought him in hoping they could at least evaluate him. Instead, we were told they would not see him without an appointment and sent us to an emergency vet. The most frustrating part is that we had been trying to call to make an appointment. The phone rang for more than 20 minutes during business hours without anyone answering. So how exactly are existing clients supposed to make an appointment when the hospital doesn't answer its phones? We were literally sitting in an empty waiting room, with a dog who was uncomfortable and in pain, and were essentially told that we were on our own and needed to go somewhere else. After five years as a client, I found this to be incredibly disappointing. Veterinary care is expensive enough without paying for a relationship with a practice that won't even make an effort to help when your pet needs it. Horrible customer service and a very disappointing experience. I will not be returning.

Instead they sent us home with meds. We ended up needing emergency surgery the next day for him. So what should have been $3,000 turned into $6,000. Then they gave him too high of a dosage, he had extremely slow breathing and couldn't lift his head. They brushed it off saying "he's just a sleepy kitty". We had to come in a different time for our dog, only because Blue Pearl was at capacity. Our dog was vomiting and had bloody diarrhea. She also wasn't moving her back legs. Our dog pooped in the lobby and the tech just rolled his eyes and said it's fine. I'm sorry, but if you don't have compassion then change careers. I gave a pat on our dogs head for leaving them a present though! They said it was a 4 hour wait but no one even looked at our dog to see how bad it was. Most places will start triage and fluids right away. How can you determine what is an emergency otherwise? After 20 minutes we got up and left. Seems like they're only good for putting animals down.

We took our Dachshund in on a Saturday morning to have him evaluated for strange behavior, he seemed scared and disoriented. We were greeted immediately and checked in at the desk. Just fyi it's $189 at the desk when you arrive (this will be counted toward your bill at the end.) We already knew it would be costly since it is considered an emergency dept. Next we were taken to a room and a history was taken from us and they then took our dog into the back for vital signs and the vet gave him a look over. They then brought him back to us to wait with us. We truly appreciated the fact that they didn't try to keep him away from us for lengthy periods and did not set him aside in a crate in the back to wait by himself. We submitted urine we caught outside because we weren't sure if he had an infection. As time went on this place got busy and busier! They had a few emergency cases arrive. Naturally those animals receive priority. Even though all the staff were busy they never appeared stressed out or short with anyone. They handled the business very well with pleasant attitudes. From what I saw most all pets were returned to their owners each time there was a waiting period. The lobby is very large with plenty of space. The clinic was very clean. There are benches that are very hard on your butt for lengthy waits--definitely bring a blanket or pillow to use for your bottom! We received a diagnosis that we had feared; for this our dog was prescribed anti inflammatory meds. And as soon as we return back to our home state will see our regular vet. Dr.sierra was amazing. She was patient, thorough and very transparent. She answered all questions and did not rush us. She encouraged us to call them or return if our pet worsened. We really felt our pet mattered to each staff member during our time there. We were there from approximately 09:35 - 3:30pm. All day basically. Bring your patience with you and be prepared to wait. Emergencies are going to present and the staff works very hard to care for all pets. We are grateful for them. Thank you Dr. Sierra, Tammy, Ethan, Heather and all the staff behind the scene that helped us.
