Bad ombré. Chipped chrome. Sloppy cuticle work.
    David B.

So many issues! The chrome and topcoat chipped in less than a day (tech did not use the proper base coat and said "it will be fine"). The cuticle work is sloppy. I asked for an ombré; it wasn't until halfway through that the tech admitted that they had never done an ombré before. On top of that, the salon is messy and the techs are unprofessional.

this is the set i had to leave with because they refused to remove them

I came in wanting short black french tips full set. Lisa did not execute quality work or acted with integrity once i asked for her to do the french tips. I requested them to not have the french tips and simply remove the entire set due to the lack of foundation for my full set and the set being crooked and inconsistent. They refused to remove them. Someone did try to fix them but they still weren't right because of the poor acrylic foundation. They argued with me about the price and when I insisted they remove them because it's not what i asked for they removed 5 dollars. I would recommend going to another person in that shop but be cautious. Would you pay 80 for this?

Love this design! Exactly how it looked in the photo I showed Tina! Thank you girl!!!

Absolutely the best nail salon I have ever been too! Ladies are super nice! Everyone is friendly and great environment to relax and have your nails or toes done just the way you want & at a great price!!!

    Full acrylic set

very good job, not exactly what i wanted but the outcome was cute nonetheless. They were professional, im pretty sure different nail techs there are better at certain designs though so maybe ask about that when you make an appointment. I think I'll go for a more simple design next time as I like my nails to look exactly like the photo I show them, which has only happened 1/3 times I've been here. But overall still very nice, I'll keep going back

Listen I stumble upon this place and it was worth every penny. The environment was amazing and the atmosphere was light/friendly.

The vibes were amazing here especially since this was my first time. Everyone was laughing and seemed to joy themselves. Definitely book advance tho because they were booked and busy. I love the energy and atmosphere .

Not a flaw. Not a dip. Nothing but perfection.

Maria was the absolute BEST! I've never had my nails done as great as she did for me! I'm overly picky and have such a hard time finding good people. She's the best!!

Touch Nail salón is the BEST, I'm glad I found them. Love how my tech pays attention to details. They all do a great job I got regular pedicure and Gel manicure this pic is from the first day and 2 weeks later and it still looks amazing. I work in a hospital I wash my hands a lot and still looking great

I have been to Touch Nails three times for a gel manicure and I am convinced that I will NEVER go anywhere else! My tech is Jasmine and over the years that I have been patroning nail salons, she is over the top better than anyone! She puts incredible attention into my nails. She cleans the sides after each layer of polish making sure that there are no runs. She makes sure to seal the nail tips so there is no peeling. She even takes a cuticle cutter at the end of the manicure to nip any weird gel edges so that your manicure looks amazing from every view. She also gives a great hand massage. I would pay for to do it for 15 minutes straight. Also, my three gel manicures with her have NEVER chipped. I'm serious!! I only come to see her if I'm bored of the color or if I need my nails cut. The color selection is great; there are LOTS of gel and regular polish colors. The gel color selection alone takes up three boxes and has like 100+ nail samples in each. The price is comparable to many salons. I don't have any cuticles so I pay for gel color changes which are $15. But with that, I get old gel removal, nail cut down (if needed), file, buff, color, and hand massage so if you're as fortunate as me to not have overgrown cuticles, go for it! I will be coming to see Jasmine for as long as she will be doing nails! *Attached is a recent photo of my gel manicure with her. My nails look so nice and clean. Color is DND Hazelnut if anyone is curious!*

Best nail salon I've ever been to! All the ladies are so sweet and are amazing at what they do. I love love love Maria's nail work. I leave touch nails so so happy every single time. They never disappoint!

I had an amazing experience from the moment I walked through the door of Touch Nails! The salon is very clean and also very busy so make sure to make an appointment however they do welcome walk ins. Immediately I was greeted by the friendly staff and owner and asked to select my polish color. I was handed hundreds of nail samples to select from. If you can't find a color you like here then it doesn't exist because they have everything! Ahna did a beautiful job on my manicure and pedicure. I have hard gel nails (from a previous salon) and she thinned them out and shaped them very nicely. Included in their gel manicure is a cuticle cut which is excellent considering the past place I went did not offer this. My pedicure came out just as good as my manicure. Ahna trimmed and shaped my toenails perfectly. I am so happy to have found this salon and look forward to returning for my future manis and pedis!

I have been to most of the nail salons in the area (Eva Nails, LA Nails, Pampered) and liked them all, but none of them were exactly what I was looking for. Touch is brand new which made me hesitant to try them out, (How did I know if they're any good?!) but I only tend to go places that are a 10 minute walk and a couple minute drive from my house, and I was still looking for the perfect place to get my nails done so I thought why not give it a shot? Besides, Park Ave always messes up my nail shape, LA nails is too crowded, and Pampered recently GAVE ME TERRIBLE NAIL FUNGUS! Inside had a cute presentation, and its appearance was very clean and spacious which I LOVED! The girls are so friendly when you walk in, and you pick out of their many colors on the wall. I was seated right away because since they're so new the place wasn't crowded. Amazing customer service! Manicurist was nice and relatable and she handled my hands with care. On my first time there, another woman did the design on my nails which was done exactly how I described, and then my 1st manicurist returned right away to add sparkle and a clear coat to my nails. They were perfect and my sister who accompanied me was just as thrilled with hers! The lady getting her nails done on the other side of me was raving as well. Her nails were covered in intricate designs and tons of rhinestones. I also have gotten my eyebrows done here, and they came out great! Just how I like them. The woman who waxed them was friendly and made me laugh as well. Haven't gotten a pedicure here yet (I've been being cheap lol) but next week I'm going for one because their pedicure chairs so look so nice that I really have to try them out. I'm going to have to be a regular at this nail salon! (If you're familiar with the area, it is located right next to Pizza Fair!)

Drop my teenage daughter off for a full set and they did a terrible job. These places forget that even though it's a kid getting the service doesn't mean its an opportunity for easy money and an opportunity to do a sloppy job. Nails look lifted. Shape is looks horrible. Nail polish is bumpy. Horrific job all together extremely disappointed at this place!

The day I removed the acrylics

I have been to touch salon many times before and I loved it, but due to the last 2 experiences I have had there, I won't be returning. The first time I got an acrylic fill and it was just ok. But the second time I went for a fill, I was mortified when I discovered my nail was dark green. I had never saw this before so I ask the tech if I should just remove the nails and leave them bare, she said she could still do a fill and it was just from water getting trapped underneath. A couple days after I got the fill, I took the nails off because I was nervous. Now a month later i'm still dealing with this fungus and it's getting worse, now my nails are separating from my skin. Please educate your staff, not sure if I contracted this from tools or application, but either way, I won't be back.

About a year ago, I had the worst experience with a hair stylist who claimed to be a color specialist. I came in for color correction to get all the brassiness out. She assured me that achieving an ash brown hair color was doable. $320 and 2 days later (a total of over 6 hours), the result was a nightmarish shade of dark blue at the bottom half and brass on top. She blamed her incompetence on my difficult "Asian hair". This was the first and only time I cried after a " professional" hair treatment. Afterwards, I started dyeing my own hair, which looks way better than her work, but still couldn't get rid of the brass. I realized that my entire hair needed to be bleached by an expert and couldn't do it myself, so I did some research and found V Salon. I specifically chose V Salon because one happy Yelp reviewer recommended it for Asian hair. Because of the horrible experience in the past, I was a bit nervous and skeptical. But when Ben mentioned that my hair needed to be bleached and warned me of the damage it will cause during the initial consultation, I sensed he knew what he was doing. He consulted with me every step of the way to make sure I agree with possible outcomes. He even took a few strands of my hair and dyed it to to show me a sample before he colored my entire head. The sample looked too dark and gray, so I asked for a lighter ash brown color and wondered if a little gray or blue would counter the orange undertones. Not sure if he made the actual adjustments, but the overall job was fabulous upon completion! No more brass!!! Take a look at the amazing before and after photos. Will be coming back for a layered hair cut to remove the frayed and damaged ends. Can't wait to see it! Note: As of March 2021, V Salon is only accepting cash. Vincent said their machine was down. Luckily, I just went to the ATM the other day. (A lot of businesses in RI prefer cash, for some reason.) Prices are on the higher end. My bleach and color treatment costs $250, without a haircut. Update: Ben's hair cutting techniques are comparable to the expensive hair salons inside Copley Plaza in Boston that charge $100+ (crazy) but more affordable at only $37 for medium long hair. The layered hairstyles are very detailed and seamless, as opposed to the basic, quick cuts at Supercuts, but for the same price (with shampoo & blow dry)!

Quick and thorough, although workers are a little rude and don't really care about your requests.read more
