I came here to get a manicure because my hands have been really dry. There is a lot of parking in the back, but keep in mind that the parking next to it is reserved for the pizza place. The entrance to their parking is on Virginia, and there is a lot of parking available. I walked in, and all the employers were busy with a customer. The place is clean, and they have many options available. However, they don't have any options for regular nail polish, all the acrylic and all the other ones that stay on your nails for weeks. I didn't want any of those, so she said my only option was clear. And that was fine with me. $30 for a deluxe manicure that took about 35 minutes. The only reason why I am giving it four stars is because she didn't massage hard enough and she was distracted with other customers. Prices are reasonable. However, they don't give you the service menu when you come in, which I didn't like very much. Given that this place is a minute away from me, I'll probably go here again. read more

I gave this place a try because it was close. I went in for a basic manicure and pedicure. They hounded me to choose a higher package even after I declined. When working on my hands and feet, like another reviewer perfectly described, they did a "half-assed job." My nails were not clipped and filed evenly. They didn't even turn on the massage chair. They have a staffing problem. When I lived here in the past they were good, now they rush thru the service, take people out of order, and seem to have attitude about it when I called them out on it. I just can't find a good thing to say about this place. I am a regular manicurist, meaning my nails stay done and I am very attentive to all aspects of the manicure! I have been to this place a few times and they have let me down, every.single.time. The first time I came, I got an infection in my toe from the pedicure. The second time I came, they charged me hella saying my nails were too long and for asking for my nails to be shaped coffin.. when they were already coffin! I just needed a refresher. The last time I went, they did the absolute worst job on my manicure. My sns was lifting, the polish had chipped on two fingers, and this is all a week after I got them done!!! I'm not rough with my hands, nor do I do a lot, and with everything included, I highly highly suggest avoiding this place at all costs. I selected SNS in the color I had another nail tech do at a different establishment. The reason I gave them three stars is because in comparison it doesn't look as good and the only difference I can gather is the people! I also rated lower because of other upset customers during my time there. It was a busy Friday afternoon, but a lady who was getting a pedicure before I entered never had her nails done because they weren't managing their time and people correctly. I call and the lady told me they can't do a full set back because they don't do that if I come in I will have to pay again and she told me if I was being careful my nails wouldn't come off. Exhaling...there are few things that a woman looks forward to as much as a pedicure. That 45 mi to an hour of premium "Me Time" pampering is right up there with a stiff drink after a bad day or a unexpected Prince jam on the radio. As soon as we walked into Touch Nails I exhaled and from that moment until the time we left I was treated like a Queen. We visited the salon on a Saturday at noon, we were greeted as soon as we walked in and advised to choose our color (prettty standard). However, even though the salon was pretty full we were quickly seated with feet submerged into warm blue lavender scented water. As I surveyed the surroundings I noticed how clean the salon was, even with it being on Saturday morning the stations were all wiped off and the normal smell of nail polish chemicals and gel was definitely not as pronounced as other places I have been. I was pleasantly surprised. Just as I was about to close my eyes and sink into my thoughts, my girlfriend says "Oh Gawd" I look over to see this awe struck look on her face "these chairs are great". Understatement here people...the chairs are amazing. Dang near a full body massage and EVERY setting worked. I felt like I was at Sharper Image sitting in one of those custom made loungers. I mean this thing hugged your booty and massaged from upper to lower back so good...I think I might have caught a nod or two. Luckily just before I started to snore TINA came over, introduced herself and started to work on my feet. Ashamed as I am to tell it...I was way overdue for a pedi. When I say she got my feet all the way together...People this lady was magic. I opted for the Deluxe Pedi which included hot stones & towels and a milk and honey massage. My feet are so soft I cannot stop touching them. She addressed my cuticles, cut my nails down and hooked me up with the cutest french tip. We live within walking distance from this place and we want to support businesses to the neighborhood. But we were so disappointed with our service that we almost cried. My sister and I got a pedicure at this place today and came out the shop as if our feet were done by an untrained professional. As a formal cosmetologist ourselves, we noticed that the job was ridiculously fast and sloppy. Not only we were worry about the "not so clean" pedicure chair but we also have to endured their conversation in their native tongue. What they don't realized is that we understand their language. They were complaining how one customer only tipped $3 and how our feet were "dirty" and not well "shaped" and so and so on while they were doing our feet. Most importantly, the job was so HORRIBLE that we had to go to a different place to get a color change immediately after our pedicure from this place. I got off the 85 exit and was able to fill my rental car and get a quick mani- pedi - eyebrow wax before catching my flight at ATL. Lee is the owner. She recognized me as a new customer and asked my name before introducing me to all the employees. Certainly a first experience for me. Lee did a great gel polish on my nail. She said they stocked over 200 gel colors. It was hard to decide on the exact pink I wanted. The lady who did my toes was awesome. She gave me a big wheel of fake nails showing all the nail design options. Too overwhelming for a Monday so I asked her to surprise me. I guess no one had said that before because she lit up and was very happy to show her creativity. It turned out great. Lee was quick with the eyebrow wax. She didn't double-dip in the wax, either. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I have never been treated the way I was treated at this place....and it was by the manager. I asked for a mani/pedi and a wax. She wouldn't do my wax because she said she had to go to a doctor's appointment tomorrow and she told me I would have to come back tomorrow. She also said we couldn't use the scrapers to get the gel nail polish off my hands because it takes to long and that if I didn't want to get it done with the drill I would have to go somewhere else or come back tomorrow. Sarah was my pedi nail tech. Very soft-spoken, but great attention to detail, and gave me an excellent basic Spa Pedicure. Tiffany was GREAT as well, on my gel manicure. I blinked and she was finished! She offered to clean up my eyebrows and did a great job!! I'm very particular about the brows, so I'm beyond impressed with how they turned out!
