Stopped in again for some nail maintenance. During COVID-19 update shop hours are 10-5 Wednesday through Saturday. They open 12-5 on Sunday, and are closed on Monday and Tuesday. I had a much better experience this time around with SNS application. Pedicure left something to be desired, again. However the staff has changed and maybe I'm just used to the other tech I had. I stopped here in passing and what a good choice it was. The staff was so nice and the customers were diverse. It was really clean, very spacious, and kind of calming. I stopped in to get my nails done, I did Gel polish, and they pushed me into a pink and I ended up loving it(lol). Last minute I asked could they change the polish on my toes and she was like sure. Me not knowing there closing time, she agreed to do my toes, eventhough they where closed. I thought that was so nice. I messed my big toe up and she was so nice to fix it, even we I said no worries. I thought that was such great customer service and they never made me feel rushed. I left out pleased with my nails and feet. I promise I have tried to like this place. After my awful experience last year, I decided that I was going to give them a chance because I was in a pinch and I needed a pedicure. When I entered, they addressed me, asked me what I was looking for and told me to go sit at seat number six, which I did. I brought the color over when the lady asked me what I wanted. I told her I was on my lunch break and just wanted an essential pedicure the $32 pedicure. She asked me if I wanted gel. I told her no that I felt like it was expensive and the last time I got gel there it peeled off so I did not want to get it. From the point, I said that I didn't want the gel nail polish, She had a visible attitude. So she continued the pedicure, and I didn't like the way I was being treated after the fact because I felt like she was mad at me. To make matters worse, I had chosen a color that was an off-white shade. She looked at me and said I hope you know this isn't white. I know what I asked for and what I chose so I really didn't appreciate being spoken to that way. When I got to the Front expecting to pay $32 for my pedicure, I was quoted $37 when I asked them to explain the additional five dollars they stated it's because they took off my nail polish. I have never in my life as a 40-year-old woman paid for a pedicure and had to pay for the toenail polish. I was wearing previously to be removed as it is part of the service. I hate this place. They're rude and they will do anything to get an extra dollar. They're extremely entitled. There are nicer places to go. Try east point or camp creek tbh. Bliss is waste of your time. read more

Like anybody else in the world, I love myself a pedicure. Self-care is vital to me and I'm a major girly-girl who loves nothing more than some pampering. I'm pretty particular about where I get my nails done but on this occasion, I was visiting my boyfriend and suffering from chipped toenail polish. *Cringe* So I went on the hunt via Yelp and found Bliss! It's funny because my boyfriend tried to recommend them previously as he had visited them before. But why would I take a nail shop recommendation from my boyfriend? LOL but jokes on me, still ended up there! And I'm glad I did. Bliss is on a quiet, unassuming street and the morning I visited proved to be timing as I was only one of two customers in the spa. I was quickly assisted by a sweet woman who prepared the sanitary lining in the tub, used a plexiglass between us and wore a mask the entire time - which I loved! I truly appreciated that they were taking safety measures for themselves and us, the customers. The decor was cute, the shop was clean and bright, all aesthetics that stand out to me when I look for a shop to frequent. (I just wish that I could have had a glass of prosecco with my pedi!) I sat back and turned my massage chair and relaxed as the nail technician went to work. I'm pretty boring when it comes to a pedi and only wear two colors on my toes (white or pink!) so I know that she was wondering what I was even in there for, but it was the relaxation! Normally my daughter and I go to another spot but decided last minute to get our toes done...yes, my toes are chunky, but hey they are mine and decided to try Bliss in Hapeville, GA. Upon arrival, limited parking, as we parked on the street and walked across, we were warmly greeted. There was only 2 other customers, which meant no waiting. It is a smaller shop than most salons now but I loved the decor and ambience. I've come here several times since I've moved back to the area. At first, I loved it! It has a clean and calm atmosphere and they have a vast array of colors. They offer refreshments, but only if you ask. I feel as if this should be a standard offer and customers should not have to inquire about it. I've taken off Stars because of the inconsistent customer service. I just came in today for an SNS, and my nail tech was very unfriendly. She didn't even say goodbye when my time was up and just went on to her next customer. This unfortunately has happened on more than one occasion, so it may be time to find a new nail salon. If this establishment wants to have better customer retention, they need to enforce regularity and consistency with its customer service. read more

I was in the area and needed a mani/pedi. I was immediately greeted upon entering and provided service shortly after. I was looking for a color similar to what I was already wearing. The manicurist took her time matching the swatches to my nails and found a color very close. Then I requested a matching color for my toes but in gel polish (my nails were SNS). Again she took her time and found a complementary color. A young man performed the pedicure while the lady did my manicure. Both took their time and checked in with me along the way to ensure I was pleased with the color, shape and length of my nails. As other Yelpers have stated they appear very sanitary and line the bowls with fresh plastic for each client. If in the area I would definitely come here again. This might be my new go to neighborhood spot to get my nails done!! I had a really good experience. The salon is cute, the staff is really sweet and chill, and the prices are super reasonable compared to a lot of other nail salons in Atlanta. I got one of their spa pedicures, only $35, but I got gel polish so it was an additional $15 which I'm cool with. But to think that I can come here and have a great pedicure experience for only $30-$35 is really awesome. I love the way my pedicure turned out. I'll definitely be back. i've had good experiences at this salon before. The atmosphere is nice and the salon is clean. unfortunately, I experienced what seemed to me a bit of a micro aggression on my last visit. I really liked this place until it came to pricing. $40 for SNS is reasonable, but they charged me an extra $5 for almond shape, which they did not mention anything about until it was time to pay (AFTER the service was done). I was happy to have found a nice shop near me, but I won't be back because of their dishonest pricing. The first time I came here I enjoyed the overall atmosphere as well as the tech, Stacy. She only works sometimes, so my last visit I got someone else. Still great vibes and she was very nice, but there were some inconsistencies. She didn't clean or clip the sides of my toes very well so I had to ask her...and then only did one so I had to ask her for the other foot. She rushed through my manicure, not pushing down my cuticles on both hands and not clipping my cuticles thoroughly as I had to pick off skin afterwards. Neither my pedi or mani was cleaned up after the paint job. They weren't too busy, but maybe there were other appointments who hadn't arrived, but when it comes to my pedi/mani's I wholeheartedly expect a thorough job. There is a middle aged girl that is there every time that I walk in and she acts like she has never seen me before although I have been in this nail salon probably about 30 times. And I have also brought my friends. When we walk in they treat us like we have never been there before. They treat us as if we are a disturbance. As if we are not welcome. As if they have better things to do. They sit in the massage chairs and watch their TV and then when we walk in they act like they are so put out that they have to give us a manicure. They are not friendly, and they are not kind. And on one day they even refused service saying that they were understaffed for manicures, Even though it was 2 o'clock in the afternoon. So disappointing, as I had hoped that this would have become one of the better nail salons. As it has turned out, they are just like all the rest. Dirty and unfriendly. Update: It's a no for me dawg. So I've been here 4 or 5 times since my initial visit and review. Each time the service gets progressively worse! Today I walked in and was greeted. The man at the counter asks me what I want done and I tell him that I need a gel pedicure. He then asks me if I wants my nails done too, I reply no and he insists that I look like I need my nails done. Rude AF.. it's 2019 and it should already be understood that nail salons should keep their pushy means of upselling to themselves.. it's tacky. The bad reviews that I have seen recently are frankly mystifying. I have gotten my nails done consistently at this spa location since February of this year. Safety: All of the technicians wear masks consistently, and plexiglass shields are used as a barrier between technicians and clients. They also use liners inside the basins for pedicures. Service: If they are busy and backed up they will let you know as a walk in how long the wait is. I may not be greeted immediately when I walk in, but a few minutes later someone will address me to ask what services I need. The owner is very friendly and often does nails for clients herself. And most all of the techs are very adept besides the owner. With the exception of one person, each time my SNS also lasts longer here than any other place I have been, outside of the joint I used to go to in Sandy Springs. The only improvement I could see is if they provided beverages (water, wine, etc)! Also, while they sweep and clean the areas where services are provided, bathrooms, etc., they could dust the area at the very front in front of the nail polish station. I found this place on yelp next to the airport. Overall they did a good job. The nail tech, Lily, that did my gel pedicure was great! She tried to hold a conversation and was nice throughout the whole process. Plus, she also did a good job on my toes. However the lady who did my SNS was on her phone the whole time. Which is fine if you don't want to be bother or talk I'm cool with that also as long as you do a good job. However, I was upset to notice that underneath my nails were unclean and still had nail product residue. I tipped them both 20% and I wish I noticed this before I left. The top of my nails looks fine but it's the little things as making sure you're efficient and cleaning off the nail product off your customers skin before you're done. If I'm around the area I might give this place another try and I'll just have to make sure to look around my nails before I leave the shop. read more

I went against my better judgment and came here to get my eyebrows waxed, cause they're around the corner from me & my brow lady is in Marietta. But I should've went to Marietta. I have always received compliments on my thick full eyebrows that perfectly framed my face & when I laid down on the table I told the lady more than once exactly what to do, how to shape them... to keep them thick & full, how to do the arch etc. Not only are my arches not symmetrical, but they are SO THIN! I now have to buy a brow serum and grow my brows all the way back out before getting them waxed again. && with the way the waxer was snapping my head from side to side, you'd think she did chiropractic adjustments on the side. So I stumbled by this nail salon on my way to yoga class. It's definitely a trendy nail salon with modern decor for those of us who love a good ambiance. I decided to get a basic pedicure. For sanitization purposes I noticed that all of the Foot Soak stations were properly covered and the area was rather clean. Now, a few things that I noticed and wasn't happy with. The area where you place your feet seemed to be dusty . When I shared that info with one of the receptionist she grabbed a towel from another station and wiped it away. For me, this was not acceptable as she should have sanitized this area. The pedicure service was mediocre. I was not pleased with the way the tech filed my toes. It was simply not efficient enough and polish was left on the skin of my toes in which is a big No, No for me. The polish was also streaky. Hygiene: One of the nail techs sitting across from the pedicure station and coughs directly in the air twice. Not once did she cover her mouth or look up Frim her phone. Absolutely disgusted by this.
