Ordered a quilt and two sizes of shams from "ToC" after doing research on these items across various vendors online. They offered a sign-up promotion, so went with them. After a delay in shipping, which is on their vendor, not on them, finally received the items. Am very disappointed with the quality for the price. Attempted twice to post a review on their website, which errored out. I'm starting to believe that because it was a two star review they programmed the site to reject it! Here's what I wrote: "I love quilts and own several dozen - at least 3 or 4 for each season, plus others for colors or patterns I like. Living in Southern California, a lightweight filling is normally fine. I searched all over the Internet for a quilt with black and green plaid fabrics. Found this for a discount on ToC by signing up for their mailing list as a first time customer. Had issues with shipping (not ToC's fault, but their delivery vendor deserves a failing grade!), and finally received the package today. Saw the driver bringing a smallish package to the door. Sure enough, the quilt is very, very thin - not much fill to speak of, and we'll need either another blanket on the bed, and/or warm afghan as toppers when it's time to sleep on fall and winter cool evenings. The pattern is a simple primitive one - nothing intricate or fancy. As such, between the thin profile and the overly simplistic styling, the price point is highly elevated. Since the color scheme goes with other items I have, am going to keep it. Otherwise, I'd return it and look for a better value option. If you're interested, I'd wait until a substantial sale is available. In a separate review I'll talk about the "shams", which aren't quilted or lined at all. The reason I'm giving them two stars instead of one is when I reported an issue with the FedEx delivery, a customer service agent did research it, got in touch with FedEx and got the stalled shipment moving again. Purchased a rose rug early 2018--had to wait until May for entire to be complete so did not put the rug on the floor; then in May started a renovation so did not put rug on the floor until November. Within 2 months of weekly vacuuming carpets and rugs as always, the rug threads pulled up, not just pilled. Touch of Class took several weeks to review the request for a replacement thinking I would use the mini-roter brush, but they would replace it. I'm sure they hear all kinds of stories but the photos show the truth. And, I do not have pets or children. I wonder if anyone else has had problems with these rugs that are still available in the catalog. read more

I ordered an oval tablecloth to use for our family Christmas dinner but the company sent me a rectangle. There was no time to exchange it so I used it twice and laundered it after each use. I decided since I did use it even though it didn't fit properly that I would keep it and order the oval tablecloth and ask for a discount. After going back and forth they finally offered me a slap in the face $4 discount, then when I told them I was not happy with that because of their mistake I had to order two! they came back with an $8.50 discount. I had to plead my case, practically beg and that is the discount they finally offered. I did not take it nor did I order the oval tablecloth I wanted. I don't understand all the negative reviews. I have purchased rugs, curtains, bathroom accessories etc from this catalog over several years and have always received the items in a timely manner and of good quality. I have been lucky to never have to deal with customer service so I can't speak to there treatment of customers. I placed an order online 1 week ago. At the time it said order today for shipping by April 19. Today if you go to that same item page, it still says that same ship date. So I called to get an update on the order because I had not received any emails from them. The lady said the ship date was April 27. I asked how that could be if today it still shows an April 19 ship date. She said it is coming from the manufacturer and that is when it will ship. I asked why nobody notified me of that since that is not what it shows on the item page. She said it clearly says on the item page that it ships from the manufacturer. I told her that it didn't matter where it shipped from. It says April 19 ship date. Nowhere does it mention that it will ship whenever you feel like shipping it. October 2012 I purchased two bedspreads. One is called Antique Medallion Bedspread, california king, package saying that it fit oversized deep mattresses. Not only did it NOT do that, but it is a glorified table cloth, stiff as a board. The picture shows these beautiful raised cotton swirls; NOT the case. This cost me $189.00 and it is CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP. I contacted them via email 3 times, NO response, I called them and wanted them to send me a return label at their expense and they were NOT customer friendly AT ALL!!! The other bedding, which I would've kept, but am returning both now, doesn't fit as it stated either. Ordered many times from this catalog, and I never had a problem. This time, however, I ordered several items online which presented nothing but problems. Bottom line, things happen but the customer service is poor, when I asked for a manager I was ignored. They should change their name to Touch of Ass. My order consisted of all BEACH items (theme) which they specialize in, but my seashell rug smelled moldy, (side note: so I went to wash my machine washable rug it clogged my washing machine,and I had to call for service) my seashell wall swag had grapes instead, another item was missing a piece and when I went to send it back to the Co. the customer service person told me I would be contacted when a courier would pick up the item. When I didn't hear from the Co. I called to check back on the status. Again, told me they would get back to me, and much to my surprise the courier came and went. As of now, still no word, called the Co. again asked for a manager and still would not comply. I wanted to send the swag back in the first place but the customer service rep said this is what the manufacturer of the item preferred. Still Waiting. Horrible Experience! Buyer beware!!! I ordered a pet furniture cover and when I received the item the color did not match my couch. I immediately put it in the packaging and returned it with the return paper work. A month later, what I believed to be another couch cover arrived at my door. I called them to ask about the product and they explained that this is the same couch cover that I had returned and that it was "covered with stains and not in any packaging." I was shocked! I asked to speak with the manager and was told customers could not speak directly to management. I was told they would send me an email with the manager's response to my concern. I told them I was hesitant to hang up because i didn't want another month to pass. I was told the manager was not in her office. I asked how the product was in packaging now if I hadn't returned it with packaging and if this was the same cover. I was told they "must have found another case as a courtesy to me." I examined the cover and do not see damage or stains. I am still waiting for a reply but will never do business with this company and BEG others to look elsewhere. BUYER BEWARE OF TOUCH OF CLASS!!!!! I am a very displeased customer after being screwed by this company. I placed a fairly large order with Touch of Class on 1/31/13 in the amount of $1063. The order included a comforter, 2 pairs of drapes, 2 valances, 3 tufted pillows, 3 shams, 1 rectangle pillow, 1 sheet set and a comforter set. I checked on the order about a week later and found out the comforter set was discontinued. I contacted Touch of Class and they said not to worry that the manufacturer would make the comforter and it would ship approx. 2/12/12. Each time I contacted Touch of Class the date got pushed out another 2 weeks. I called in to cancel the sheet set and 1 tufted pillow and because of that they shipped only 2 tufted pillows from the order. I called back and asked why I got just the tufted pillows and they said it was a mistake. I requested to have the rest of the materials sent out so I could at least have those items. I finally got a notification that the comforter was pushed out to 4/4/13 (2 months after I placed the order) so I canceled the comforter set and had to make due with something else. I went onto their website today and see that my items they just shipped and charged me for were dramatically discounted! When I inquired about an adjustment they told me that it had to be within 30 days of the order. Are you serious? It took almost 2 months just to get 1/2 my order!!! Long short of it I paid $378 additional dollars over what they were advertising because I placed the order prior to the prices going down- but while I was still waiting for my order! This company has no ethics and cannot be trusted. I sent them this message asking for a response which I did not get.
