I've had imaging done with the Red Oak Touchstone clinic since about 2016 and have always had a great experience there. Efficient, friendly, professional and informative come immediately to mind at this clinic. I have pretty good insurance and have never owed a copay for any imaging done here. I spoke with scheduling staff twice before my appointment. I spoke once to them the morning of my scheduled mri. The guy didn't mention that I needed to bring the remote for my sleep apnea device. Since my previous dysfunctional specialist sent me here for EVERY TEST. Tonight I sit at the hospital while my life long friend sleeps peacefully. So I will try to catch up on my reviews. Touchstone Imaging is very thorough and prompt. No sitting around in the waiting room, they see you at your appointment time. I am serious OCD, so I arrive early and 9 out of 10 times been seen earlier then my scheduled appointment. The front desk employees are bright and cheerful, as I am usually having my meltdown. I've been here enough because of Mr. Dysfunctional Specialist they know me. Now for the real mental breakdown, the ole gynecologist decides he needs me to go for my mammogram! To the same place!!!! Really??? I been here 200 million times and no one checked my chart and noticed it was time for my mammogram? If I EVER catch the bastard who invented the mammogram, I know exactly how to screen him for testicular cancer :) Just saying ......... read more

Update on last reviews. I have had multiple scans since my experience a few years ago and they have actually been great! As far as the financing, they have been spot on and also taught me a little trick that I am happy to pass on. If your scan requires pre-authorization call your insurance company at least 24 hours BEFORE your scan, clarify co pay and actually see if the insurance company would be willing to waive the copay. It worked for me on 2 MRI scans. read more

The staff at the actual facility are great, friendly and professional. The billing and pre-auth are rude and lazy. They do not know what they are doing or what they are talking about. I will never do business with Touchstone again. read more

The most rude and incompetent staff. Will pick up phone and not say anything at all. When repeatedly calling, associate decides to answer and refused to let me know what wait times currently were. She said that it could change at anytime and wouldn't be able to tell me. She couldn't seem to think past what I was asking and then hung up in my face. I will start by saying the receptionist was very kind and the place super clean. I made an appointment for an ultrasound my appointment was at 12:30 . I sat there and watched people come and go. Most of them had arrived after me. The tech never bothered to send someone to say she/he was running behind. My time is as important as anyone else. Nobody, nothing, just sat there. Finally got up canceled my appointment and left. The tech really has to get their act together. Everybody's time is important you just don't let someone just sit there. So, when is the last time you got into the exam room, at the time your appointment was scheduled for? I couldn't believe I was was professionally greeted by Monica, and had the mammogram on time. I was literally in and out in 15 minutes. It was the the 1st time I had ever had a 3D scan. It was less invasive, painless & quick. I might say I had had scheduled originally to have a scan at Baylor in Waxahachie. It had taken me 3 months to get an appointment. Then I had to cancel and it was going to take another 2months to get in. That is ridiculous! Touchstone got me in in less than a week! No copay. Never going back to Baylor. read more

Touchstone Imaging gets 5 stars for their services. My husband and I have both been there recently. There's virtually no wait. I was there for two different services and went immediately to the 2nd one without a wait. Everyone knows what they are doing here and they're sharp. Even better, they have financial plans/charity plans if you need help paying for a service or if your insurance won't cover it. They were a HUGE help to my husband, and I'll be forever grateful! Touchstone Imaging is so poorly run that I'm now waiting a month for a MRI.,Around the first week in May my pain management doctor said I needed a MRI... ok... well a week went by then a second week went by. Finally got a hold of my doctor and the Imaging Location in Red Oak Texas... I go to the location in Red Oak Texas I'm there at 150pm for my 2:30 pm appt. well finally I'm called in for my MRI at 2:45pm . But I can't have my MRI because the location has a weight limit of 350lbs. I'm 360lbs. So then I'm told I have to wait yet another week for a appt in Arlington Tx. Now I live in Ferris Tx and now I have to drive to Arlington Tx for a 4:15 pm appt. I'm the middle of rush hour!!! In the mean time I literally cry myself to sleep because the pain in my lower back!!! My doctor says he can't do anything until a MRI is done!!! Touchstone keeps jerking me around!!! I guess between my doctor and Touchstone no one cares!!! But because of my insurance Touchstone is the only game in town!!! I'm so fed up with this !! read more

My daughters appointment was set for 9:30 am. We got there got checked in and sat in the lobby watching everyone but us go back. We sat there for almost an hour without anyone explaining what the hold up was. I finally got up and asked the front desk and all they would say is that the lady was with someone else and it should be only another 1/2 hour. Almost 2 hours AFTER the appointment we were brought to the back and promptly parked in the changing room for yet another 15 min. When we did finally get into the room the procedure only took approx 5 min. Not one time did anyone at this location apologize for making us wait 2.5 hours for our appointment. This is the worst experience I have ever witnessed at a doctors office. This is extra bad because they made a 16 yr old girl wait for over 2 hours and she was already scared. read more

Trying for 3 weeks to get results of a mammogram. When you call and ask about it the staff is rude and have absolutely no customer skills.

I don't mind someone having a bad day but when you try to discuss it like an adult and they try to fake nice and say everything as professionally as possible except I'm sorry for the experience, we will work on that and do better next time. Thats what happened here. People complain in our world about equality and fairn treatment but they don't mean it because if they did they themselves would change in their daily dealings with people. read more

Before scheduling my appointment I asked how much it was going to cost. They told me with my insurance it would be free. At my appointment I confirmed the cost and they assured me it was going to be free. One month later I'm hit with a $271 bill. read more
