They're aware of all the social cues and quirks of our big guys & gals, and do their very best to work with the dog in front of them rather than conforming the dog to their needs and/or expectations. My 1 y/o female EM has a bit of stranger danger and Dr. Morgan spent nearly half of our appointment just talking to me nearby her and letting her warm up before proceeding with an exam or any procedures. During these covid times I wasn't allowed in the office, but my girl happily pranced in and out with Dr. Morgan and her staff (this was her first time at this office). I had zero qualms about her riding solo, as her expression going in and out said it all. Their prices are fair and quality of care is paramount. If your primary vet isn't available and you're lookin for basic shots even if you're a new patient, this place will get you in quick. My primary vet was unavailable and so I called in and was able to get an appointment for the next day. The place looked poorly maintained and the flooring in the exam room was broken which left me nervous about my dog's paws. The vet tech couldn't really answer any of my questions. What sealed it for me was that when the vet came in the room and put my dog on the scale, asked ME if that was normal for her breed... I was like "you tell me" which he took a guess. Unfortunately I won't be back because I'd like to make sure you can do the bare minimum to make sure my dog is properly cared for at every stage of life. read more

I liked the practice in the beginning when I had to take my pet for wellness and minor issues.But when the major problem occurred they showed that they completely incompetent and irresponsible.Mostly dr.Linder.Negligent money making practice.And the owner Dr Morgan is covering all that and threatening to go after you if you leave an honest feedback.All this with a fake smile, while your precious pet is declining because practice didn't know how to treat it and the MOST IMPORTANT didn't care!!!!! Unless you need to trim your dog's nails don't go there.Better be safe than sorry. read more

Everyone there is very knowledgeable, very sweet and personable, when your pet is sick it makes a world of difference how people talk to you and treat you. Touchstone not only knows how to speak to clients with compassion, they also are very thorough and knowledgeable. They never give off the impression of having alternative motives to make money, they are not trying to sell you on in-house services, they only care about the wellbeing of your animal which is all that matters! What an amazing vet. I called nervous about my puppy's possible eye infection and they took me 30 minutes later. Everyone from the front desk staff to the intake technician to Dr. Russo is warm, compassionate, and comforting. My baby Bella was completely calm throughout the exam and literally when I tried to leave to take her home she belly flopped and wouldn't leave. Both front desk people got up, without me even asking, and came around to interact with her playfully so she would actually come home with me. What a great place! read more

There is not enough room for me to type how much we love Dr. Mostowy. She takes fantastic care of my dog, Chance. He was going through some serious health issues and she caught it right away. She has been guiding us through it all with care and compassion and the best bedside manner. She takes her time to explain things thoroughly (even if I need an explanation a few times lol) and always answers my questions in a caring and diligent way. I can't stress enough how happy I am to have found this vet! I was SO worried about my Neapolitan mastiff going under anesthesia for her spay & gastropexy but the doctors there were so comforting. THIS IS LONG BUT KEEP READING! Our 14-year-old sick cat was seen at the large local multi-specialty hospital on an emergency basis because she had stopped eating. She was found to be in respiratory distress and had fluid around her lungs which was removed. We were presented with a million different options for further diagnostic scans and procedures without an expectation of receiving a diagnosis or of having her cured. This took up the better part of the day, cost $1,400 and left us feeling utterly confused. The next morning we remembered Dr. Mary Beth Morgan who used to work at the huge facility and tracked her down to her own business, Touchstone Veterinary Hospital and called for an appointment. Although she was completely booked for the day, the lovely young woman at the desk was able to get us an appointment with an associate, DR. LINDER. I cannot praise Dr Linder enough!!! She was so calm, professional, reassuring and knowledgeable. She examined our kitty IN FRONT OF US and, while not disagreeing with the other vet's statements, she clarified them and broke down our options into manageable, logical steps while explaining how extremely ill our kitty actually was. This enabled us to take her home and evaluate our options for a cat who was elderly, terminally ill, not breathing well and was completely stressed out due to traveling in the carrier. After thinking about it overnight, we decided we had to do the unthinkable. We called Dr Linder and she explained again how sick our kitty was and agreed to see us in an hour for Riley to be put to sleep. Not only is Dr Linder ABSOLUTELY SUPERB at her job but the young women at the desk and the technicians were great as well. It was a very emotional decision with an unhappy outcome, but everybody was so sympathetic and compassionate. And one last thing: when I went to the desk afterwards to pay, I was told not to worry about it today...I can return to pay later!!! We expect to adopt one or two kittens soon and we will never go to another vet. THE BEST!!!! read more
