We knew we wanted to hike and surf, but had no clue as to where to go or how to even go about finding these so called hidden spots. We were referred to Jeffrey from a friend and right away he was so nice and friendly. He asked some great detailed questions to get to know us and find out exactly what we had in mind. The first day Jeffrey took us surfing and taught us how to "read" the ocean and now we know how the waves work and the physics behind the waves. Rather than just pushing us into the waves so we could try to stand up/fall down/paddle out and try it all over again, Jeffrey really taught us the fundamentals of surfing so we knew what we were trying to do. It was really amazing to learn from such a veteran surfer with so much experience. My husband was able to stand up and took to it immediately, I needed a little extra help. We also went snorkeling and learned about all the native fish, coral, and even saw an eel. We met him early in the morning the next day at a local coffee shop - which we never would have found without him - and the food was amazing (Kalaheo Coffee Co.) and immediately we knew it was a great decision for Jeffrey to be our tour guide. He drove us in his vehicle up the mountain and we stopped at several different spots to see some amazing views of the island and the canyons and then we parked and began our hike. The hike was the perfect level for us to enjoy but be challenged. Jeffrey knew the name and history of every tree and flower and was soo knowledgeable. Additionally, Jeffrey imparted some great words of wisdom regarding life and helped us to really learn a lot about ourselves and surpassing the limits we had set for ourselves. Who knew we were not only going to see these great sights, but get a little "life coaching" as well! Jeffrey took us to so many great sites. We spent another day with him and his wife Hezar and couldn't believe the gorgeous places they took us in Kokee. We ate fresh baby strawberries and saw some beautiful views. We were both soo happy with our experience with Jeffrey. He really listened to us to design a completely custom experience tailored exactly to our needs and taught us so much about nature, hiking, the island of Kaua'i and so much more. Additionally, he was able to recommend some great secret beaches, restaurants, and some great stores. He has been living on the island for a long time and really knows all the great spots. If you are ever in Kaua'i - you must take a tour with him!

He took us to breathtaking locations and patiently explained how I could get the best photos at each one. He taught me how to optimally frame pictures and use the best lens filter. The owner Randy customized the trip and took us all over the island seeing things we definitely would have missed just renting motorcycles on our own. We visited Sahara-like red desert sands, the lush greenery of the jungle to the refreshing smell of the pine trees. Each of the different view points were breathtaking. The great thing about booking with Randy is he loves riding as much as we do. So, we never felt we were being rushed to get to one spot or the next. He stopped whenever we wanted. We enjoyed a great lunch as well. The Harley's are well cared for, making the ride comfortable and smooth. It was an amazing day. Well worth the cost and time. We will be sharing with friends and family who ride to make sure they book with him. Lastly, I only write reviews on companies if they are really awful or really fantastic. In this case it was fantastic.

I arranged for a sunrise hike up Sleeping Giant, followed by a hike down to Opaeka'a falls for the two of us. The tour included digital footage which Eric mailed to me on a flash drive. It was fantastic!!! Eric is quite the font of knowledge of Hawaiiana and of Kauai. Yes, one can visit these places without a tour guide, but you won't get the history and other tidbits that Eric gave us. They say, if you decide to do a helicopter tour around Hawaii, or in this case Kauai, then take an…read more"open-door" ride. That's right, "doors off"!!! Prior to coming here, I had booked online about ten days in advance. The next day, I received a call to confirm the date and our weight. By the way, they also say, if you plan to a heli-ride then schedule it at the beginning of your trip. This is due to the unpredictable weather, and flights can be cancelled at any time. It's apparently common that flights get rebooked. I had originally booked a Tuesday, but due to weight balancing with another couple, the guy who called to confirm mentioned we need to fly on Wednesday. Rescheduled, and no problem, and totally understandable. We were here at the end of March, and I received a text from Tracy, who again confirmed our flight time. Excellent communication. The helicopter hanger was easy to find as well, as it's near Lihue Airport. And it's a white dome shaped hanger that you cannot miss. When we entered, we were entertained by Freddy who later helped us get secure into the helicopter. Before flying, Shea gave us a briefing on the safety rules. She even showed us a live map of the current crew that's on tour flying around. Thank you Tracy, Freddy, and Shea for helping us from start to finish. Other details for other to know, they have small storage lockers. They rent cell phone harnesses for $5. And they do not have restrooms, but have outside porta-potties. Bring a jacket too, because you never know. No sandals allowed. Ready to take-off, Max was our pilot, and he did one hell of a flight! I questioned the weather, questioned the clouds, questioned my seat belts, and even questioned our pilot. But then realized, ummm, I'm in the air already OH WELL!!! Gotta trust the pilot, gotta trust your seat belt, and just start taking pictures. For some reason, I wanted to sit in the two backseats versus the front, and we did. My photos still came out amazing! Everything was simply memorable, thank you Max!

There are bigger ones for more money but this one is just right. Captain mike was awesome. He hopped in the water and snorkeled with us and even caught an octopus by hand. My kids were thrilled. The staff on board was super friendly and informative. The thing I liked best was it was very personable. We made it nearly to Keke beach. Entered a lava cave saw dolphins and sea turtles. My kids loved it and they have a much lower price for kids under 12 that really helped out on price. Good times!

Highlight of our Kaua'i vacation! I'm so glad we decided to slurge on this! It is definately worth…read moreit!!!!! A trip to Kauai isn't truly a Kauai trip without seeing the Na Pali Coast. And it was so much more than just a trip to Na Pali Coast! I'm not a water person, so this is saying a lot! Our tour was on the Na Pali Kai III, which was a catamaran that could take a max of 32 people. It included snorkeling and deli lunch. Lots of drinks were available at all times. There is also a restroom on board! Meet up was a Kikiaole Small Boat Harbor on the westside, where a number of other tours meet at the same picnic tables. A Liko tours worker will call your name and will come to you and you sign in. We had a party of 5 adults and 1 child (5 year old). There were a few kiddos on board, 1 being an infant. I'm glad the captain let those families go first to get first dibs in the back and shaded area. Though the front is exciting, if your prone to sea sickness, the front is no bueno. Our captain and crew were very knowledgeable and friendly, educating us on history, water life and all things Na Pali. The first hour and a half was cruising the west sighting dolphins! There were soooo many of them swimming in pods, taking air and spinning, it was fabulous! Of course, i wasn't camera ready for them. The next couple of hours was cruising the magestic Na Pali Coast. Unfortunately, this is when the waters started to get rough, we could not go into the open ceiling cave. The captain did go close to some waterfalls making some awesome photo ops. At that time, I started to feel queasy and moved to the very back of the boat (Sick Bay as they called it). A crew member poured a bottle of cold water on my feet and gave me herbal oil to dab behind my ear. He encouraged me to go into the water when it was time for snorkeling, and I did feel better. The area we stopped at for snorkeling was prime. So many fish and honu!!! And the fish were friendly, thank God. My 5 year old was able to put on a floatie to wrap around her waist. There is also a few boogie boards available to float on. I wished I had brought, at the very least, goggles for my 5 year old, as they did not have any kiddie size snorkel gear. Lunch was served during that time also. By then, I was done. I did not get too sick, but I fell asleep during the ride home. All in all, it was AMAZING!!! I encourage to save up, if you have to, for this activity. It truly shows you beauty of Kauai and it's magestic Na Pali Coast. And to add snorkeling and lunch?! Epic!
