    Date Night
    Chentelle B.

Had a great evening; date night with my husband. Whether you're visiting Hawaii or live here on Oahu. This was a great experience to see our island from a different view. It was a great experience to be surrounded by great people who loved Hawaii. The staff was amazing and the food was delicious. The Chef made an appearance and shared the menu - The fireworks of course was spectacular. Great Food, Great Service & Beautiful Views, highly recommended.

Where do i start. First off would like to say Mahaaaaalo so much for having me and my entire crew from southwest airlines. It was such a blessing. We had such a great time. The food was on point thanks to chef cater. The service was AMAZING. Shout out to my girls Ally, Lily and Alex. Yall rocked and killed it. Please keep that vibe and energy always. Yall bring ao much light and radiant energy. Big shout out to captain Phil for such great hospitality and for inviting us.

We were a group of 6 and had a fabulous time. The dock is well marked and has benches to sit on should you arrive early. Check in was easy and they take a picture with the boat as the background as you board. Def try to sit on the right side of the boat so that you get the sunset as you cruise out and a great night view as you cruise back. Food was great and service was wonderful. Def would do this again!

If you get the opportunity to cruise with these folks DO IT!!! The absolute best food and music and the vibes are so fun. The crew will take amazing care of you. Do not forget to BYOB they will whip up the best cocktails for you and I promise you the food is out of this world!!! I loved every minute! Bring your friends and have the best night ever! Can't wait to come back soon

In Hawaii on vacation and our travel agent suggested this company for a sunset cruise! This was a very nice cruise to Diamond Head parallel to the Waikiki Shoreline. Check-in and dinner selections occurred seamlessly. Once ready to go, the captain taught us about Waikiki beach & the history of the area --- all the while, the on-board chef was preparing everyone's dinners. It was a BYOB cruise and NO alcohol provided. The entrees seemed to take a little longer than what was expected -- however, there was just one chef in the galley! They were definitely well prepared and tasted delicious! The crew was definitely on top of things and took VERY good care of all the cruise guests. The captain even pointed out various types of sea-life as we cruised toward Diamond Head. The sunset made for beautiful pictures! The music was a nice touch, too! MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!

Don't go if you get seasick lol especially since the ride is slow so you feel everything. I did take Dramamine but ended up so drowsy lol my mom had to take her food to go because she just could not handle it she was super seasick. A few others were running to the bathroom due to being seasick. I can see this being super enjoyable, If you do not get seasick. The wait for dinner took longer than I expected, from leaving the port it wasnt until 1 hour and half until we got our dinner. Some get there's first depending on if you chose fish or steak. The staff was nice and chef was too the food I'd rate 5 out of 10 . The views were also amazing. The captain was trying to do some stand up comedy I think, which didn't land at our group lol either way he got us there and back safe so can't complain. I loved the photos they took of my mom and I before we got on the boat, they were only $20.

nice iconic photo with diamond head

My husband, Mom, & I had an amazing experience with Prince Kuhio's dinner sunset cruise. Stunning views of diamond head & sunset!!!!! Would love to send my compliments to the chef! The fish of the night was mahi mahi. He prepared it very well & the meal was absolutely delicious. The captain was positive and enthusiastic, which was appreciated. Most notably, the crew, Avi, Luna, & Ian, was amazing, they were quick to action, they loved taking photos for ALL on the boat, and they were extremely kind, helpful, & friendly. We truly enjoyed our experience & I recommend this cruise for all! Perfect for date nights, for a family excursion, or a lil solo night. 5/5 would go again!

Great experience. Magnificent staff that worked to make our experience unforgettable. Delicious food, & gorgeous scenery. Cater alongside other chef Matt prepared a meal worth having even on shore while visiting Ohau. BYOB was nice because we were able to have what we wanted to drink. Captain was witty and clever. Lily, Ally & Avi were an awesome crew and worked as a kind and caring team to take care of all the guests.

I travel to Hawaii a lot and this was one of the most fun experiences in Waikiki. The boat and the staff were outstanding. The crew really made the cruise a lot of fun! I believe this is one of the only ships that travels with an onboard chef and the food was absolutely exceptional! I have never had fish that fresh and the people in our group that had the short rib also said it was exceptional. I have also seen the sunset many times from the beach, but this is the first time from a boat and it was an entirely new experience not to be missed. The views of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the water or also unbelievable. I'll include a few pictures so you can see it. I'm also looking forward to booking the breakfast cruise and whale watching because I've also heard great things about those as well from my friends that have done it.

    Here she is!

We had an amazing experience on this Friday night sunset dinner cruise with fireworks!! From the moment we boarded the Prince Kuhio, our service and the staff were exceptional! The captain greeted everyone and his crew went over the top to ensure a memorable experience!! It was a perfect Waikiki evening to cruise the waters and see the beautiful scenery! Our dinner salads, short ribs, and ahi dinners were prepared perfectly and the dessert was a nice treat. To cap the evening cruise off, anchoring in front of the fireworks display made for the perfect evening!! Thanks to the entire crew - you were amazing!! We definitely recommend this company and cruise for the best Hawaii experience!!

We had an amazing experience on this tour. The staff were very attentive and extremely sweet and helpful! Alex took amazing pictures of my family and I! The food was great and the views were amazing. We got front row seats for the fireworks and beautiful sunset. I definitely recommend this for couples and families with children.

The boat itself was much smaller than we were expecting. The staff was very nice! The food was amazing! I do wish there was a/c or a fan at the least in the indoor seating area as it was very hot/humid and stuffy in there. I don't normally get motion sickness but unfortunately I got sick while on the boat a little after dinner but I was able to gather myself just in time to watch the fireworks show! It was such a beautiful view to see the fireworks and city view. I would go on this boat ride again, but will definitely be more prepared with the motion sickness part.

It was quite confusing to find the meetup point at the beginning, but asking the hotel staff did help us getting there. We went on the high-tide day so needed to walk a bit from the usual boarding area. Probably helpful to remind people wearing slippers as you'd need to take shoes off. They did provide proper and plenty storage spaces for your footwear on the boat (appreciated!). Drinks were pretty much bottomless and they had their very own Mai Tai so you could really enjoy the 'complete Hawaiian package'! The only problem with high tide day, it meant be prepped to get wet and going on and off the boat would be quite tricky as you needed to manage timing to avoid the tide from getting you soaking wet. I was unfortunately not the pro and literally got half-bottom wet, getting off the boat LOL. Paid off by the gorgeous sunset view!!

I'm the girl who wants to go snorkeling even though she gets sea sickness and can't really swim…read morebecause I love animals and I want to experience snorkeling with turtles and fish at least once in my life. We did the turtle tour on 5/13 at 8:30 in the morning. They teach everyone how to use the given gear, they antifog the goggles beforehand and sanitize all the gear well afterwards. They have snacks, water, and ginger ale. We saw two turtles within a couple arms lengths at the surface (you can't touch them but gosh they were so close!). We also saw about seven turtles chilling on the bottom. Tons of reef fish swimming so close to us too. The crew makes sure to point out turtles so you don't miss them. It was my first time in open water and the crew was welcoming from the start. They separate the groups so if you can't swim or are not great at swimming, you can stay back and hold onto a blue mat in the water where they teach you and help you feel comfortable in open water first. Even though I vomited afterwards (yes I took plenty of motion sickness medication ahead of time!), I highly recommend the experience. It's unlike anything else. The crew is so funny, they normalized not being able to swim well or motion sickness so you don't feel embarrassed. They get in the water with you (not all crews do!) and were super attentive, and encouraging. I felt safe enough that I was able to learn, get confident in the water and join the others and I still felt like I had plenty of great snorkeling time. Overall, GREAT company for actually seeing turtles! GREAT for inexperienced swimmers and people who get motion/sea sickness! If you're determined, you can still do it. The crew made me feel safe the entire time! You've got this, you only live once!

I didn't even get off the boat and my son already asked me "can we come back to this same boat again next time!" From the gate B, which is your entrance, make sure you read your additional info after your confirmation email, especially if you are taking a Uber or Lyft, or else you can get dropped off at the main area and have to walk and find gate B! It's a long walk if you do not specify, our u er drive was the one that asked me, what gate sir, or else you have a long walk. Thank god he asked us! So from the gate to the entire experience, it can be overwhelming, it's a lot to do, it's a ton of fun. I rated 4/5 for the snorkeling because it's open ocean vs doing this inside a "bay" You first get a cruise down the waters and learn about the city and the captain t Story tells you a lot of history and the buildings while we are cruising and then we turn around to the play and snorkeling areas! Wow! But knowing my kids they want to also PLAY! Thais is the boat, you have a water trampoline, a water floating board that you legit can lay on or stand on and play balance and or just lay, and a huge slide!!!!! Wow! And drink and snacks are included! We didn't even get a chance to grab a beer! lol (for additional $ on your own) Just look at the view and the photos. So this entire experience is just 5/5 We booked through TripAdvisor. This is 100% recommend, since this is also at open ocean, it's easier if you can swim and not afraid of the waters. They do offer life jackets and self blown floatation vests, your choice. Must do!!!!! See you next time!

But despite being called a "Dolphin and You" tour, there is only dolphin WATCHING from the boat -- no swimming with dolphins. They also only stop at one snorkel spot in shallow waters.m whereas most companies have you snorkel at 2. Maybe if I had never been on another tour, I would have thought this was good, but I'd only recommend this for people who want to mainly watch things from the boat and not snorkel. I honestly saw more marine life where I live in OC. On a previous tour with a different company, I swam in waters where dolphins were swimming all around and underneath me -- it was a core memory, and I was hoping to recreate that experience. They also don't let you swim very far from the boat, which made the experience feel overly restrictive. Because the website is not clear I will lay down the iternary: 6:00am pick-up from hotel (about 1.5 hrs to get there) Restroom stop at Fareharbor 1 hr dolphin watching--basically your just on a boat 1 hr snorkel--will see sparse fish 1 hr return--will give you sandwich and water cups no water bottles, temporary tattoo offered Return to hotel: another 1.5 hrs to drop everyone off etc Kind of waste of money $180+ and my precious vacation time. Also, be wary of the reviews. They offer incentives for leaving one. Sorry, but as a Yelp Elite, my honest opinion can't be bought.

From the moment we arrived, their team demonstrated a level of professionalism that immediately stood out. The check-in process was seamless, the safety briefing was clear and thorough, and the equipment was in excellent condition. You could tell they run a tight operation -- everything felt structured, efficient, and well thought out without ever feeling rushed. What truly elevated the experience was how intellectual the tour felt. The guides weren't just there to point out turtles; they shared fascinating insights about marine ecosystems, turtle behavior, conservation efforts, and local oceanography. Their knowledge added so much depth to the adventure. It felt like a marine biology mini-masterclass -- but one where you're actively swimming through the lesson. And speaking of active -- this is not a passive, float-around experience (which we loved). As a very active couple, we appreciated the energy and pace. There was plenty of swimming, exploring, and maneuvering through the water, and the guides kept the vibe upbeat and engaging the entire time. They matched our enthusiasm and made sure we got the most out of every moment in the water. The atmosphere was fun, vibrant, and full of positive energy. The team clearly loves what they do, and that enthusiasm is contagious. We left feeling exhilarated, accomplished, and genuinely grateful for such a well-run adventure--we left having seen many turtles, Hawaiian spinner dolphins, a stingray and plenty of fish in a natural setting. If you're the kind of couple that prefers movement over lounging, learning over just observing, and meaningful experiences over generic tours -- Island Splash Turtle Tours is absolutely worth it. Professional. Knowledgeable. Energetic. And incredibly fun. We would book again in a heartbeat.

Being the first boat out in the morning makes a huge difference. The ocean was calm, conditions were excellent, and we weren't surrounded by multiple tour boats. They struck the perfect balance of being attentive while still letting everyone enjoy the experience naturally. We felt extremely safe the entire time, and they were just genuinely joyful humans to spend the morning with. And I have to mention the turtles. We saw at least eight. Not just in the distance-- they were everywhere. Below us in the reef, gliding past us at the surface, popping up for air unexpectedly. At one point we were actively looking around just to make sure we weren't about to bump into one. Also...calling them "little" would be inaccurate. Some of these turtles were big-- absolutely stunning animals. Swimming alongside them, surrounded by hundreds of reef fish, was one of those rare travel moments that sticks with you.
