With some friends from out of town visiting, they wanted to try and do something a bit more unique and this fit the bill. There were 9 of us total, I think we could fit up to 13-14? We were told to arrive at 6 for a 630 start but our tour guide did not show up until a little after 630 and seemed a bit disgruntled that we were all waiting on a super hot day. We were even told that they switched guides last minute to handle our reservation even though we were there with ample amounts of time. I'm not really sure why that was relevant to share with us but it was uncomfortable and made us feel like no one wanted to take our group. We also didn't get to choose our stops (I guess they said we didn't choose on time?? Though it's not like they had reservations for us, so I'm not sure why that mattered if we could have chosen the day before) but still had a great time! I think they should provide a bit more guidance with picking seats and how to work through but I really do think that we just had someone who was rushing through and it felt a bit awkward. I can't say that I'd opt to do this again in the future but glad I had the experience.

There's plenty of things to do for the kids, they recently added a corn pit, a game area, and smaller playground right behind the corn pit. They did have a huge play area right when you walked in and they took it out this year, our kids were bummed but we noticed parts of the playground were moved to different areas. We went the first week of October and there were plenty of pumpkins to choose from. You can either do pick them in the patch yourself or they do have some lined up in the front. They also have additional fall decor you can purchase as well.

They are actively making bike trails through there property giving lots to do. My kids absolutely loved this place. Staff were very nice. Most of the campsites are shaded with mature trees. The sites are easy to pull through if, like me, you aren't great at backing a large RV. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table. I had a really nice stay here. The hotel has a very modern feel, especially when you walk into the…read morelobby. They don't serve a traditional breakfast, but they have a Starbucks coffee. Since the hotel is right in the college area, they even sell local college gear in the lobby. For quick food options, there's a little snack station where you can buy drinks and snacks, plus a microwave available for guests to use. I also really appreciated the water station, which made it super easy to fill up my reusable water bottle throughout the day. Location-wise, it's about a mile walk to the lake but just a block away from downtown. Parking was incredibly easy and convenient, as they have multiple lots around the property where you can park for free. The room itself was nice and standard, equipped with a fridge and a small seating area. The bathroom was very nice and updated. On my first night, the motion sensor seemed to be acting up because the lights kept shutting off on me, but housekeeping must have noticed and fixed it the next day because it worked perfectly after that. My only real complaint about the room was the WiFi, which was pretty spotty and didn't really work well inside the room. Overall, it's a clean, convenient, and modern place to stay. I would definitely come back!
