Our experience started with me calling because we had gone through our credit card company so there was some confusion. Kris, the owner, called me back 3 times to make sure everything was settled and we were taken care of. Above and beyond customer support and was such a joy to talk to!! Fast forward to our tour day and we were SO excited that Kris was our tour guide! His passion for this company was such a beautiful thing to see. The tour was phenomenal! The food and the drinks were top notch and we absolutely loved that it was a cultural experience! We can not recommend this experience more and we can NOT wait to do another one! Thank you Kris for such an extraordinary experience, you made our day one we will never forget

It was an old van that had a leaking roof so water was dripping on the floor the entire ride. The tv monitor on the van did not work. We were told we would go to three restaurants downtown for wine tasting and small plates. We only went to two restaurants. One restaurant was downtown and only served a one charcuterie board with the wine that our entire party had to share. The other restaurant was a pizzeria in a strip mall. The driver was not accommodating and did not clean the bus after the previous group before us. I spent more than a thousand dollars for a dissatisfying experience and did not get my money's worth. Do NOT RECOMMEND!

We didn't have to try and figure out directions and we could drink all the wine. We had 3 tastings and a lunch over the course of a few hours. Our Driver, Bill, was so sweet and shared so much information about grapes, wine, and local knowledge. He called that morning to check in and met us promptly at 10:45. The SUV was roomy and clean and he even had bottles of water on ice ready to go. Which we definitely needed after a few wine stops. Coming into it, I knew nothing about wine and I'm not even sure I knew Michigan had so many wineries and vineyards. Now I feel like I have a good amount of knowledge about wine and I figured out what I liked best. It was a very cool experience and my friend had a great bachelorette party.

Our tour guide was a retired high school history teacher and football coach with all sorts of interesting stories about the region. We passed Mount Baldy, the "living" sand dune that moves, at Indiana Dunes National Park and made it all the way down to a good view of the Century of Progress homes before making our way back. We also got to hear all about the ship, the Emita II, which is a historic ship from the 1950s, and about how it reached its current home. It was also very cute that Captain Jan had the kids come up and take turns at the wheel on the way back. There is a snack bar on the lower level of the boat, and there are restrooms on board. Free parking is available a little walk away - walk towards the Lighthouse Museum, as the dock is behind there. Definitely a great adventure!

Only complaint is there was a group with a person who should have been cut off from being served any more alcohol but her friends bought it for her.
