It was an old van that had a leaking roof so water was dripping on the floor the entire ride. The tv monitor on the van did not work. We were told we would go to three restaurants downtown for wine tasting and small plates. We only went to two restaurants. One restaurant was downtown and only served a one charcuterie board with the wine that our entire party had to share. The other restaurant was a pizzeria in a strip mall. The driver was not accommodating and did not clean the bus after the previous group before us. I spent more than a thousand dollars for a dissatisfying experience and did not get my money's worth. We also got to hear all about the ship, the Emita II, which is a historic ship from the 1950s, and about how it reached its current home. It was also very cute that Captain Jan had the kids come up and take turns at the wheel on the way back. There is a snack bar on the lower level of the boat, and there are restrooms on board. Free parking is available a little walk away - walk towards the Lighthouse Museum, as the dock is behind there. Definitely a great adventure!

The entire tour covers eight breweries, and the family who owns this new business has a winning approach to customer service. It's a delightful ride through the streets of Grand Rapids, and between breweries there's a cooler full of bottled water to keep riders hydrated. You get about an hour at each brewery, which is just enough time to sample some great beer before moving on to the next brewery. We left the tour a bit early in order to make dinner reservations, but I would recommend this to anyone who likes good beer without the hassle of driving or relying on Uber. Great experience, warm and friendly service at a super reasonable price!
