That's the first thing I always check at bakeries and they passed the test. The tiramisu latte was the standout. Smooth, not too sweet, and the flavor actually tasted like tiramisu instead of random syrup. The pastries were soft and fresh. Nothing dry or stale. You can tell they bake and restock throughout the day. Service was quick. Even with a line, it moved fast and the staff kept things friendly. We didn't leave until 9 and it was sooo packed in there at 9pm! The pastries are good but I didn't understand where I was supposed to heat them up, it was confusing, and when I asked questions the lady working there was super rude and looked at me like I had two heads. Macarons were ok. They had these savory pastries that were delicious and the custard pancakes were so good. I just wish I could have heated the pastry and pancakes up. I love all things coffee and sweets! I knew I was coming close to this yummy taste of heaven on earth today so I worked out a little extra this morning and this treat was well worth it! I tried the butter pecan cloud with and extra shot and extra hot and also only went with 2 pastry selections instead of 8! The raisin danish didn't make it out the parking lot! I usually go to the Tous Les Jours in Annandale, and I always stop by the Chantilly location when I'm heading to or from Dulles. So when the Woodbridge location opened, I was honestly too excited . With their pastries and lattes, it's easy to spend a little more than planned. Back when I lived in South Korea, I actually lived right above a Tous Les Jours, and this spot really brings me back. The cakes taste just like the ones there...moist, not too sweet, and always beautifully made. They're a bit pricey, but worth it. This place offers a wide variety of pastries, drinks, and even fresh-made sandwiches every day. Plus plenty of seating, so you can sit with friends or get a little work done on your laptop. If you decide to try something, I HIGHLY recommend the strawberry tiramisu, Ube latte (with ice) and the cheesecake. Fun fact: if you didn't already know, "Tous Les Jours" means "every day." Stopped by for a much needed afternoon pick-me-up. The store was pretty busy with customers picking their pastries and ordering drinks, but the line to pay/order moved fairly quickly. My iced honey lavender (with almond milk) was just what I needed. Not too sweet and was smooth and creamy. When my order was called, they did miss my regular coffee, but fixed that right away. What's a fantastic addition to the Woodbridge area. I popped in following the hype surrounding the opening a few weeks ago and was not disappointed. The decor is beautiful. I love the brightness of the place. The selection is somewhat overwhelming. I saw them refill many popular items, and by 9:45, the bacon, egg, and croissant were gone, and I'm not sure if they replaced them with something else. The cloud donuts were amazing! I have not had a strawberry donut with such a perfect combination of sweet and fluffy In a long time. The ham and cheese croissant was okay, but nothing too exciting. I got them a lavender macchiato, and it was pretty well done. The place was busy, and I could see that finding a seat would be a challenge, but the service was reasonably quick. Overall, this was absolutely a great experience. I would love to see a mug or a dine-in cup for coffee. A Hira true star of this place she took time to explain how things worked with ordering, checked on multiple items i had questions about and even went the extra mile to help me find an item my son who had a liver transplant due to his dairy allergy could eat. Went around 5pm grand opening day and it was slim pickings, only a few pastries to pick from but went back the next day late morning and they were fully stocked. I have been to other locations since I already know what I was looking for...the stuffed cloud donuts. I've never tried that be but have seen them and know how popular they are. IMO I felt the donut was way overstuffed and I would have preferred tasting more donut than filling. Actually all their pastries are delicious since they bake fresh in house! Just note that besides their bread loafs and donuts, majority of their pastries use croissant/puff pastry dough , sweet and savory. All delicious though. The lines were very long but it's grand opening weekend so it was great to see people enjoying this establishment. I stopped by the Tous Les Jours soft opening in Woodbridge today, and overall, it was a great experience! I tried the pain aux raisin and the spinach feta danish. Both were amazing. The service was decent (hard to fully judge on a soft opening), but the only person who really greeted customers was the one at the door. Hopefully, that improves as they settle in. The space itself really impressed me -- very elegant and spacious, beautifully decorated. Something that Woodbridge needed a long time ago. I visited TLJ on Christmas Eve morning. It's a nice cafe with a good amount of seating. There was already a growing crowd when I arrived and by the time I left there was a line to the door. A fan of this place because a cafe like this was much needed in woodbridge. Although it's a chain, the coffee is yummy, variety is unbeatable and best of all, the hours run late. We are a fan of their butter pecan cloud latte, tiramisu latte and various baked goods but especially the vanilla cream filled sugar donuts which taste delicious and feel quite light. After I took my father-in-law to his doctor's appointment, I didn't realize Tour Les Jour open another location. It's a smaller location but convenient. There's plenty of parking which is shared with other businesses in Potomac Festival. As you walked in, it's clean, vibrant and cozy. They offer a variety of freshly made pastries, cakes, hot and cold beverages; some cold sandwiches and a dining area. At this location, I see some of my favorites such as curry croquettes, milk bread, guava pastry and a new item milk bagel. They were all delicious. All staff members are friendly and knowledgeable. If you haven't been to and would like to try something different, Tour Les Jour is definitely a place to visit. You won't be disappointed as this is a unique blend of Korean and French baking styles. Inside you'll find a small cafe area where you can sit and enjoy your pastry or drink. To the left you'll find all the pastry hot cold and room temp. And towards the back you'll find the cake and pastry display and where you can order drinks. The staff working there are all very friendly helpful and quick. I never received my $8 refund for a croissant with some sort of dental floss-looking plastic or string in it. To make matters worse, they gave me expired baked goods in lieu of my refund. My first visit was great and I enjoyed my Frank pastry. I really looked forward to having another one, so I invited a friend to return to the cafe. Unfortunately, on my second visit, a few days before Christmas, there was some sort of string/plastic/paper strip in my frank pastry, and hanging from my fork. It looked like dental floss tape and was over an inch long. I showed it to the cashier after just a couple of bites and attempted to get a refund for that one item. It was gross. Croissants are usually rolled and made by hand, and I don't know what that foreign item was. At first I was denied and told they don't do refunds. I pushed, highlighting it was a defective item, and was told that they would void that order and I would have to repurchase my other item, so I did. It was an additional $3.58. Well...I never received the $7.98 refund for the first order. I called several times and talked to several people to inquire about the refund and was told to wait a little longer or that a supervisor would call me back. Neither ever happened, so I called back. No refund was ever received. I visited today, January 10th, 3 weeks later, to inquire in person. They refused to take accountability, claiming they know what it was that was in my croissant. They told me that I needed to check with my credit card company and this had never happened before. But 3 weeks later, several phone calls later and several checks to my credit card later, I did not want to hear excuses. Whatever it was in the croissant, I know it was not edible. It was plastic, paper or string, not dough. And I had already spent too much of my valuable time inquiring about it over 3 weeks. They still refused to issue the $8 refund that I overpaid. They insisted that I take $10 worth of items from their bakery and that they had no way to issue a refund of my money. I think this is unethical and unfair to force me to accept additional bakery items in lieu of a refund after something foreign was in my bakery item, but I had no choice at this point so I selected three slices of prepackaged loaf cake. Once I got home, I looked at the back of the cake and saw that it was expired, January 9th, yesterday. They gave me stale, expired bakery items. Unacceptable. I wish I could give 0 stars. I'll just throw their mushy, damp, expired loafcake in the trash! I should be able to dispute the charge with my credit card company. And they'll reap what they've sown when they need something much more important than a pastry. read more

The number of times I have returned time and time again to try more of their delicious sweet treats! When I first noticed this place, I decided to try their strawberry croissant, and my goodness, the cream was so soft and not too sweet, the bread itself was fresh, and with the sliced strawberries, it was perfect! staff I knew I had to return, and I did. I have tried an abundance of their items: the Pain Au Chocolat, the Guava Danish, the Caramel Almond Pastry (my personal favorite), the mixed berry Danish, and almost everything! There are far too many to name, but they are all made with passion and love are I also tried their beverages! I personally love their tiramisu latte, and I love how accommodating the staff is, whether I want almond milk or oat milk, whatever my available options are, the staff stays on top of it! I really enjoy this new coffee shop and bakery! It's nice to have more than two chain options nearby. The baked goods are delicious, and I appreciate they publish the calories on each item so you know what you're getting yourself into! The baristas are all welcoming and their customer service is always on par. Shoutout to Nishan, who's become one of my favorite baristas. The ambiance is what you'd expect from an average coffee shop, and there is plenty seating. I would say the noise is average on any given day, and it's quiet enough for you to bring a laptop and get some work done. It is kid and family friendly as well. read more
