Debbie's behavior is completely unprofessional. I had an incredibly frustrating and bizarre experience dealing with the owner here, Debbie. I am actively job hunting and made an honest mistake mixing up Frostie Moose with Smoothie King because the names have a similar ring to them.I walked in and spoke with the staff, and I want to say that the younger employees working there were incredibly nice, polite, and helpful while trying to figure things out with me.However, when Debbie spoke to me on the phone, she was shockingly rude and aggressive. She actually scolded me and said she "didn't appreciate" me telling her staff I had an interview. What else was a normal person supposed to do? It was a simple, honest mix-up that could have been cleared up in two seconds if she had just politely let me know I had the wrong location. Instead, Debbie chose to be hostile, condescending, and blow a minor misunderstanding completely out of proportion. If this is how she treats people who walk through the door, it's a massive red flag for how this business is run. Absolutely terrible leadership from Debbie, especially when her young staff clearly knows how to treat people better than she does. UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER: I do not appreciate the owner completely twisting the facts here to protect her business image. Let's set the record straight on what actually happened. The owner claims she was already at the business and saw me arrive early, but this is entirely false. I arrived exactly at my scheduled time of 1:00 PM and had to sit and wait inside with her staff because she was not there. I only walked out because she was late, and I saw her pulling into the driveway as I was leaving.When I went back inside to politely let her know I couldn't do the interview that day, she immediately snapped and said "I have a job!" in a very rude tone. That was the definition of creating a confrontation. Furthermore, her claim that I made the staff feel uncomfortable simply for walking in and politely asking if the manager was there is a blatant attempt to deflect from her own poor behavior. The staff members themselves were wonderful, helpful, and polite, and it was only the owner who brought hostility into the room.If the owner truly understood that honest mistakes happen, she would have handled the location mix-up with grace over the phone. Instead, she chose to be aggressive, defensive, and completely bent out of shape over a harmless, honest misunderstanding. I do not appreciate her trying to gaslight me and rewrite history on a public platform. Prospective employees and customers should know that when this management makes a mistake, they will twist the truth and blame you rather than take accountability. read more

My friend told me about this place last year and a few seconds later told me they were closed for the season. Argh!!! I've been on the hunt for a good soft serve ice cream place in the Woodbridge area and struck gold with this one. I love that they offer a small waffle cone option. I'm allergic to dairy and I hate getting the larger cones because I wind up throwing some of it away. This was a good size to indulge my craving. They have lots of sundaes and toppings on the menu, but I'm happy with the vanilla chocolate twist on a waffle cone. They will definitely be seeing a lot of me this summer! The staff is above all very nice and personable. The service is crazy fast and I love how they will give you their personal opinions on their own product, the good and bad. The place is small but sizable enough for the experience. I can't say enough about this place holistically. The only possible negative thing I can say is that sometimes the interior seating area is a little unkempt. Now, that's not to say it's dirty or gross just unkempt. I'm sure that's from the limited staff and quick turnaround of customers. Overall, this is a great little place. You will not be disappointed. It is a small world; I was visiting Yelper Jan K in Woodbridge and realized Elizabeth lives in the same city. A text message here and a text message there led us to the Frostie Moose. It was a welcome stop for a cold snack as temperatures sored to the mid 90's. Soft serve frozen yogurt is found at the Frostie Moose in dozens of flavors. I'm told the flavors change regularly. You can have your cold treat in a cup or a cone. You can decorate your cold treat with a variety of toppings; too many to name!!! Frostie Moose is the place to go for a snack in Woodbridge. A word of caution. They get busy regularly where human lines can be seen from afar so patience will be a good virtue to have. Inside seats and outside tables are available. We love this place been going here since our daughter was a baby 12 yrs ago. The service is always exceptional. If their is a problem they are always quick to fix it. The owner is very personable and we always enjoy it. They even regularly incorporate non dairy options which are delicious. You can't go wrong. The custard is overly sweet and melts too quickly. Their machine only adds the custard flavors as a liquid stripe on the outside, whereas other soft serve places seem to be able to work it through the entire cone pull. The waffle cone itself was relatively tasty, at least. One problem was whatever disinfectant they used on the counters was really strong and smelly. The staff was friendly, though. As far as handicap accessibility goes, it's a little tough getting a wheelchair around the 90 degree sidewalk turn for the "in" door and the "exit" door pretty much goes straight out but doesn't give much space to turn to continue to the accessible curb. They have top-notch service - they're always super nice & super efficient/quick, even when busy (it definitely gets busy sometimes!!).
