The service and food is great; however, they have limited to 2 hours internet. So what they do is print the password for the wifi on your receipt. The whole two hours, you get disconnected then you get a message after the two hours that the number of the receipt was not found within the last 120minutes. I wish they were more transparent about this info before i spent $20 on their toast and coffee. Anyway, I will go back for the macron and other desserts but not to study or use the wifi. This coffee place is really spacious. Parking is free but remember to take all your stuff with ya as it's not monitored. They sell macaroons, ice cream, appetizers, and pastries. Not your regular coffee place. It kinda has a second floor but downstairs so more room to study. It is pretty noisy, good for groups (3-8), and there is a mini bar. I went there to study and tried one of the soups. It's not bad but a lil bit pricey for its taste. I will try the others when I come back though. read more

I paid $25. For some muffins and macaroons. The muffins were dry, over cooked, hard and crumble or old. I called them, hoping for them to refund me or give me credit, but instead I was told that wasn't going to happen, why would I call for muffins, and that thank u for informing me. I went here on 2/4/15 for Tout Suite's birthday/anniversary. They were doing $1 macarons all day until they were closing and that was a huge excuse to come visit and see what Tout Suite was all about. Plus, it was only 10 minutes away from UH Campus, so I thought, why not. From the outside, it looks like a warehouse, but fixed up and turned into a cafe, you know? I have been to Sweet in City Centre and Tout Suite is their other store near the downtown area. It's two stories and gives you this chill vibe to it. From selling sweets such as macarons, cupcakes, to coffees to even sandwiches. Just the moment you walk in, you get the feeling you wish you brought your laptop just so you can do some work. I really gives you this awesome vibe to just sit down and enjoy what's around the cafe. I definitely love the chalkboard wall. I wish I had taken a picture of it, but there were rules written on the wall. Something along the lines of "grab a coffee, meet someone new..." There's bar style seating with outlets underneath, large tables, booths, and actual bar seating facing the baristas. Came here for Sunday brunch (no choice as they open at 10 on weekends; we originally wanted breakfast but I guess it meant we could sleep in) about ten minutes after they opened. There were already some people there. Patrons ranged from people catching up and others were there for work/study. I didn't see outlets and I didn't use the wifi. There was a good amount of seating from counter seats and individual tables to longer communal tables. Decor was great and the comments on great food photos is correct. It was slightly confusing at first but the menus hang on clipboards on the rails by the doors. I wanted something savory but as we're vegetarian and don't eat onion, garlic, leeks, or chives (even in powdered form), I didn't want to take the risk or go through the hassle of explaining first thing. Plus, there was already a line. We went towards the pastries area and got in line. We ordered the banana French toast and a chocolate croissant. He got his usual black coffee and I, the iced green tea latte. We got a number; the coffee and croissant was handed to us, I had to pick up my latte at the bar once my name was called out (this wasn't explained to me but I saw a group of people waiting and followed my intuition). It took a while for our food to get to us but once it did, there was some confusion as Migas was brought out to us but we eventually got our correct order. The food looked photogenic. Taste wise, the coffee was "sour" which isn't his favorite. I thought the latte was not bad and not all that sweet, but they offer sugar at the self serve stations to further sweeten your drink if desired. The croissant was hollow so I couldn't peel and eat the fluffy innards as I prefer, but it did contain some bits of chocolate inside and the crust was crispy. Not bad, but not the best I've had. The French toast itself consisted of thick cut bread, but the inside lacked the custard-like consistency I look for in my French toast. The sauce was supposed to be cardamom-infused and wasn't too sweet (yay!), but I couldn't really detect cardamom and I wish there were more bananas; the French toast was on the dry end but the two dollops of whipped cream helped. It was filling despite sharing it all, so at least we got our money's worth! By the time we were finished (still within the first hour of opening), most of the seats were filled. They certainly have good business! The place and atmosphere was good and noise was okay other than the toddler at the table next to me. I probably wouldn't go to study or work due to the popularity of the place. As for savory foods, I might try to see if I could eat anything savory next time, but I believe I'll definitely visit again to just try the desserts and I'll update my review accordingly. I used to love this place. I'm not sure what's going on with the kitchen or management but the quality of the food and service has fallen off. It took 45 mins to receive a grilled cheese sandwich and veggie wrap. Neither was worth the wait and we ended up sending the wrap back. Tout Suite is a prime location for weekend brunch, weekday lunch, and a casual afternoon coffee to study or work. The space itself is spacious and airy, with plenty of seating and an industrial feel. I will note that outlets are inconveniently located and it might be difficult to find one of the few spots with outlet access if you are looking to work and charge a laptop or other device. I have ordered the avocado toast with an egg on top several times and enjoyed it, however my most recent visit had a poached egg that was undercooked (the white was nearly liquid). The toast itself has a generous layer of avocado, but could use some additional seasoning. The real reason I go to Tout Suite is the pastry counter. Their chocolate chip cookies are huge and soft in the middle with a slightly crunchy outside, and just a little pinch of salt to round out the flavor. It had a nice fudgy outer coating with a sweet cream filling and a surprising piece of candied passionfruit. The flavors married really well together and I couldn't wait to scarf it all down. They had other amazing looking stuff too, so I guess I'll have to head back there to try the rest of it. The parking was a bit of a challenge. We were lucky to find parking right across the street, but I can imagine it being a pain in the butt if you happen to go when it's peak time. I would bring some walking shoes just in case. I went to Tout Suite with a large group of people (16 of us to be exact)... We went to fellowship and have some treats. Some people had soups and sandwiches. They said it was good. The grilled cheese looked amazing. I however decided just to have dessert and coffee. I had a slice of the crepe cake and a vanilla latte. The latte wasn't the best, but it was still drinkable. The crepe cake was amazing. Not overly sweet, but still clearly a dessert. I got 8 macarons to go. I had them later. They were light and airy. The Flavors were distinctive and delicious. I tried 8 different ones, but the fruity pebbles was one of my favs. Everyone that I went with seemed to be satisfied with their purchases. The food was fresh and flavorful. I've come here a couple times for a variety of occasions from dates to studying and Tout Suite never disappoints. I've been recommended the Vietnamese Iced coffee and it was delicious and sweet, maybe a little too sweet but that's just my personal preference because I enjoy coffee on the more bitter side. I usually go for a cappuccino or the milk tea and both are delicious. I also got the breakfast croissant with bacon and it was definitely filling. Prices are about average for a Houston coffee shop but, what I appreciate most about Tout Suite is the variety of food options to accompany your morning, afternoon, and evening coffee/drink from a small baked good to a dinner plate. There are huge floor to wall glass windows so there's plenty of natural lighting if that's your thing. It can get a little noisy during the day so if you want a quieter setting for studying, try to go on off hours. I particularly enjoy the hustle and bustle that goes on throughout the day when I'm studying. This is also a great place for a group meet up since they have a ton of food and drink options no one should complain that they can't get what they want. Parking is great and easy to find considering it's EaDo! Okay most of all what made this experience amazing is DERRICK. They have people who circulate the place to give you your food and pick up your finished glassware and plates. They are some of the friendliest people, especially Derrick. He made sure I was attended to and if I needed anything he was always easily close by and super cool to talk to. read more

I've been to TS a couple of times and enjoyed the food and experience but was let down after my last visit. I had previously enjoyed the acai bowls discounted to $6.00 that TS had promoted on their IG. Recently I encountered another IG post by TS about "cronuts and double mimosas" for $6.50 and decided to stop on the weekend for a late lunch. I ordered inside at the register and asked the employee if they were still promoting the cronuts and mimosas for $6.50 that were advertised on IG. He confirmed "yes". I said "we will take the cronut and mimosas" along with the rest of our order. I received the order but did not look in the bag before walking out. Got to my truck and looked into the bag to find no cronut. Walked backed into TS to get an explanation. The employee I talked to took the bag and left to look over the receipt and the contents. He returned and preceded to tell me that the mimosas were a "double" and both included in a single cup. I was confused as this was not my original question and I understood it was a double in a single cup. I asked about the cronut again and he explained that there was "no cronut" and that I had misunderstood. I initially accepted it as the employee's english was pretty rough and difficult to understand. I didn't want to escalate things. After all it's just a cronut! I walked out and looked at the IG post again to confirm the wording of the advertisement. As you can see in the attached photo it says "cronuts and our double mimosas TO GO for only $6.50". So I returned to inform management of the wording and how it could be misleading especially when some of their employees are contradicting their intent. A different employee approached me and I tried to show her the IG post on my phone. She ignored my efforts and said I was mistaken "that there was no cronut". I tried to gesture to my phone again but she ignored it and repeated "no". It was obvious she was not interested in hearing me out so I left without further resistance. Later that day I commented on TS's IG post about my experience and explained that their advertising was misleading. TS promptly deleted my post. I was disappointed and with no other recourse reported their post as "misleading advertising". 3 days later I discovered a DM from TS's IG account reaffirming that I was mistaken and "simply misread the post". The attached conversation ensued and the employee operating on behalf of TS blocked me. So why this long post about a cronut?! Well, it's not about a cronut. It's about valuing customer service, misleading advertisements, and a lack of communication. In a service focused industry you should take a little extra time to listen to your customers and understand their concerns even when it's about something as small as a cronut. It's these interactions that will either create life long customers or send them packing for greener pastures. So long TS! read more

I was pretty let down by this place. I came with a few girlfriends after dinner for a sweet treat. When you walk in you basically just go to the counter and look at what you want. There's no real structured line , once you tell them what you want you wait for whoever sees you at the counter to take your order. I ordered a mini creme Brûlée , charcoal lemonade and tiramisu. The mini creme brûlée was very good , just wished it was bigger . The charcoal lemonade was a bit pricey for what it was but hey when in Rome. The biggest let down was the tiramisu. It was not good at all. Strong coffee taste and crumbly texture, I hate returning food so I didn't but it legit ruined my whole visit. I really doubt I'll be back. Only giving one star because you have to in order to write a review. I ordered from here for a corporate breakfast. The delivery driver was lost and basically blamed me, when there were clear delivery instructions on my order. When she finally found me, she was so rude, and I told her she was not to come back to our company. She told me she was begging me to call her manager then waved bye sarcastically. I order food at least twice a day for meetings and I have never been treated this way. Unacceptable! After reading the reviews form April of 2023, I see there is an issue with this establishment. This place has an interesting atmosphere and is definitely unique. They have a lot of dessert options, especially for gluten free customers which I liked.
