    Iced coffee
    Jordyn N.

This is an iced coffee that actually tastes like coffee instead of milk! It was good, and the almond croissant could have been a bit more fresh but had a great almond paste in it.

Friendly people and great coffee drinks and beans...which are from Greenway Coffee Roasters. This used to be Clutch City Coffee. Now it's a coffee shop and a hand car wash, The Wash Auto Spa. The ladies making the coffee drinks were super nice, Ravin made a couple very tasty iced vanilla bean lattes. I picked up a bag of whole bean contemporary blend coffee. They have some pastries. I just ground some of the beans and they're very tasty....

I ordered the delicious new item on the menu which was a cinnamon roll and a fresh orange juice , this cinnamon roll was so good I devoured it The orange juice was very fresh as well . Always enjoy coming here and receiving great customer service as well as food.

I drove by this area the other day expecting to see Clutch City Coffee, and was surprised to see an elegant looking coffee shoppe. I made a note to swing by This place is extremely trendy and modern. As I mentioned, even from the street you can see how chic it looks. Once you're inside it's no different. The shape of the building might make it look like it would be narrow and congested, but it's actually spacious and is almost like a lounge. I absolutely love that half of this shop is pretty much windows, but the downside to that is on hot days with people constantly going in and out, it was a little warm inside. There is also a lovely covered patio out front The concept is neat. Essentially, it's a car wash turned into a coffee shoppe (but still is a car wash). It's slightly confusing as the signage says "the wash and coffee shop," but online this place is called "Papa Joe's Coffee" The staff were very accommodating and professional. There were people working both the coffee shop and the car wash, but they helped each other out I didn't get my car washed on this visit, but I did try the coffee. I am always in search of the next best flat white, and I will say that this place has a great one. It reminds me of flat whites I've had in Australia and Europe more than the typical American ones. Loads of flavor packed into a smaller cup Some tips: If you need your car washed, and you want to grab a great coffee while you wait... This is the spot to visit Cheers!!

I like the vibe of greeting and friendly here! Have to try coffee when you are waiting for car wash !

    Lavender Iced Matcha Latte

Was in town & looked up a coffee shop nearby when I came across this place. It looked closed upon arriving, staff were cleaning windows & it was pretty empty. I inquired about an exterior wash only & it was wonderful! My car was absolutely spotless & looked brand new. They washed & dried while I sat in the comfort of my car. Afterwards I decided to go inside & get a matcha. I got a Lavender Iced Matcha Latte & my friend got a Strawberry Iced Matcha & they were both AMAZING. I was insanely impressed, as it's hard to find good matcha nowadays. Marisol (forgive me if that's wrong) was great & had the matcha out in no time. There was another guy with tattoos who helped us with the car wash & him & his team were great also, all hands on deck. The concept is super cool, the inside is beautiful & spacious, with a nice patio. Will definitely be coming back & recommending to anyone in town!

You order at the counter and the server will bring the food out to you. We got chicken and waffle & chicken and pancake, French toast with side of scrambled eggs, and an iced lavender latte and English breakfast hot tea. The food & drinks quickly came out, which is always greatly appreciated when dining with kids. The chicken was a generous portion and juicy. The butter had a unique flavor and paired well with the chicken. The pancake and waffle were also big portions. The latte was sweet and well balanced. The manager came around checking on us and was very attentive when I needed to request an extra cup of hot water for our tea. The floral wall decor and light fixture gives such a cozy vibe. Service was top notch and friendly! We definitely will consider coming back soon again.

Portions are large/filling and we felt the food was delicious and a good value for money. When we arrived the line was long and menus were not available so we had to search for the menu on the website to avoid deciding at the counter and holding up the people behind us. After ordering, tables were cleaned consistently and service was friendly. Only feedback about seating was outside parties would take chairs from other tables and leave them with no seating and not all tables we're shaded. The drinks being available at the bar when it is busy and then food being delivered to the table was a bit clunky. I picked up water and utensils for our party before sitting and would have preferred to have to pick everything up at the counter or have everything brought to the table to avoid multiple trips around when the restaurant is busy.

This is a great spot to get some solo work done or meet with a group. It is not too loud, and they are located within a strip so parking is plentiful. Their menu had a wide variety of hot/cold drinks and sweet treats that you'd typically find in a Yemeni coffee shop, all reasonably priced. The pistachio latte was good, nothing extra memorable but it was what I was looking for in the moment. Keeping this place in mind next time I plan to work remotely from River Oaks (:

Iced pistachio latte ($7.50) - This latte had a strong pistachio flavor and had almost a buttery feel to it. I really enjoyed it and it was one of the better pistachio lattes that I have tried. Dubai chocolate ($6) - This consisted of a large milk chocolate bar filled with rich pistachio cream and kataifi (crispy shredded phyllo dough). It tasted amazing and much better than most places selling these. Pricing was reasonable. Overall I enjoyed my latte and dessert. The interior has some Yemeni decor and there is quite a bit of seating. The only negative is that I wish they had more sweet and snack offerings.

The staff was incredibly friendly from the moment I walked in. I ordered a churro latte with whipped cream and it was absolutely delicious. It feels like a coffee shop and neighborhood hangout all in one. The parking situation isn't ideal, and seating is a bit limited (there is outdoor seating, however), but the nearby views are a huge plus! I also liked how they had a book table sectioned off where customers could borrow books. I ordered the Iced Pistachio Vanilla latte with oat milk so that I could catch up on work for finals. Overall, it was a tasty drink, but I wish the pistachio/nutty flavor had been a bit more prominent, and it felt more like a regular vanilla latte. Compared to other coffee shops, the prices here were reasonable given the size of the cup, so kudos for that, especially in this economy... CoffeeTrend also serves cocktails, which is another neat feature about this place. :)

Grinder's Coffee Bar came up and it was right across the street so I made my way over. I arrived around 1 p.m. on a Wednesday. I parked in their small complimentary lot and made my way inside. Ambiance (3.5/5): Grinder's is basically two spots in one. When you walk in, there's a small counter where you place your order. And a handful of seats. From there, you wan walk into a more spacious second room that houses a CBD shop. And more seating along with the bathroom. I sat at a couch in the CBD area. While weed isn't my thing, if you're into both weed and coffee, that makes for a nice one-two punch for you. There isn't a ton of seating, less so than most coffee shops. Luckily, since it was a weekday, I didn't have any trouble. I wonder if that's different on the weekends. They also have free WiFi if you'd like to linger and work or study. Service (2.5/5): The menu is a little confusing because they have a menu on the counter and a menu on the wall with different items. I didn't see that there was a menu on the counter until I was about to place an order. They also have some beverages in a cooler that aren't on either menu. Not the best set up. Service wasn't terribly friendly either. Food (N/A): Since I just had lunch prior, no food for me. They have a small, but appetizing number of pastries and small bites for sale if you get the munchies (pun intended). Drinks (3.5/5): I'm not a coffee drinker so take this with a grain of salt. When I go to a coffee shop, I like coffee shops that still have a nice selection of teas and juices. Grinder's has a small number of teas that can be made either hot or iced. I went with one, iced, and sweetened with agave (for a surcharge). I liked it and the price was reasonable. They also had a mocktail of sorts that was available on their seasonal menu, although like most mocktails, overpriced. While not really my vibe, if you're a CBD person, Grinder's will be right up your alley. It's a unique spot and located in a great part of town.

The second day I came back with my husband and he ordered the same pistachio latte but full sweet and I got the pandan latte with light ice, light foam, and low fat milk. They incorporate the low fat milk well as some places tend to burn it. The pandan was great and I'm not even a ice coffee lover. Smooth, creamy. I could not really taste the pandan but the matcha came across. I asked the barista about their syrups and beans. I learned that most of their syrups are made in house and they get their beans from a family friend. They used to make their own and are thinking about doing it again which is a great sign of a quality shop. For sure a great little place.
