It's home to many shops, restaurants, coffee, work out and work-in spaces, and there is plenty of parking underneath to make sure it's easily accessible. Highly recommend walking around the Christmas decorations at night or catching a concert there in the summer (Midtown Beach Music Series). There are also luxury apartments and several beautiful hotels in the area.

I liked that they had an inside bar where some of the vendors were housed and samples of a lot of local goodies. The mobile boutiques were cute and had cute clothes. The live music was also a great touch! Parking is definitely not ideal. We got lucky finding a single parking spot after circling the block and parking lot. My friend's mom is handicapped and there aren't many handicap accessible parking places. The streets are uneven and difficult to walk on. The pricing of some of the vendors was on the expensive side and could have been cheaper. More than one or two food trucks would have been great!

The main stores are Macys and Belk and there were plenty of smaller stores that would be familiar to you like Bath and Body Works, American Eagle, Banana Republic, Gap to name a few. The food court had plenty of options to choose from too. I would say since I was not familiar with this mall it was frustrating to not be able to find the maps at enough locations. It's more like a carefully zoned outdoor entertainment center. Almost a "riverwalk" or "town center" that I've seen in other places. Surface streets cross through Cameron Village but there's lots of parking and you can easily miss parts of it because it's just a large retail and dining center. Best described as a cross between the East Village of NYC and south shore of Long Island. A bunch of restaurants and non- commercial shopping all jumbled into an outdoor shopping / dining Mecca. Cameron is best to visit on a gorgeous day. There are miles of stores and quaint restaurants. I visited here during lunch and had a hard time finding the Flying Biscuit. It's located across from Wells Fargo ( the bandits of the banking world). They have quite a lot of furniture, home decor and posh boutiques for women. Today I made the biggest mistake of dining at Which Wich. Terrible sandwich place. There were so many other great restaurants that lined this area. Check it out tourists.

They have a Barnes & Noble, PINK, Victoria's Secret, Spencer's and Encore Shoes. Several small boutiques, athletic sports stores and famous chain sneaker stores(Champs, Footlocker). This is the reason I label this a "Urban" mall is because of all the street apparel stores. If you're looking for high end luxury designer shoppes like Lululemon, Nordstrom, Louis V., you won't find that here. At all. This is a decent mall to stroll through for a walk or if you need to pick up something quick while in the area. Some of the stores are small businesses just paying rent and not very popular. I have enjoyed shopping at Spencer's, DTLR, Foot Locker, Hollister, PacSun, Macy's, BELK. I mostly shop this mall for my preteen. It is so convenient when in the area, to stop by and shop quickly. Parking is effortless. I hope they can renovate this mall. It has soooo much potential to be better. The food court does not offer many options. I frequent the Chinese buffet Sinowok. The food is consistently good and the large portions are affordable to share with someone else. Customer service is excellent.

Royal Bakery Building is located on Hillsborough Street across from Meredith College. It is a busy…read moreplace so the parking garage and the parking lot stay pretty full. A lot of the shops at the mall have high turnover of customers so just keep circling if you need a spot. The elevator is near the parking garage spots. You will find Jasmine Mediterranean Bistro; Brick House Sports Bar; Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream; Lucky Tree ; Comedyworx and The Royal Bakery Banquet and Event Center.

Now that it's 2019, maybe it's time to write them up. Located on very busy Wake Forest Road, just downhill from the I-440 exit. There is a lot of traffic and not an easy way to get into the plaza. Two entrances, one from Wake Forest and the other is more or less also Wake Forest. The shopping center has a few big box stores including Trader Joe's, Staples, Ross and Pet Supplies Plus.
