Enjoyed a late lunch at the food court. The food was hot and plenty good. The attendant was very kind. The only think I didn't like was the sauce of the honey lemon chicken. It was too sticky and stuck to my teeth. Some pieces of the fried chicken were dry as if it had been fried frozen. A pretty nice mall as malls go. Most are already closed or closing but Town Center seems to be doing a pretty good job at keeping business coming in. Being close to Kennesaw State University with all the college students I'm sure helps. It's little confusing to look up on the web as this mall seems to go by 2 names Town Center at Cobb and Town Center Mall but a nice size mall with a good collection of anchor stores and nice variety of designer and smaller shops. And I thought their food court has some tasty businesses with lots of seating and comfy seating too. I noticed a good security presence and I was impressed at how clean and polished everything is including the bathrooms. With the holidays coming up I'll definitely be doing more shopping here. read more

The mall is rundown. Most stores are leaving. The stores that are left lacks decent customer service.

It's a shame this place has gone to pot because it's really an opportunity to make money. The mall was quite crowded. I thought to myself why is it so hot in here ? Especially the food court feels like a sauna. The gal that worked there said. " turn the air conditioner off on the weekends." I don't know if it's true, but it sure felt like it. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting and none of the females bathrooms had toilet paper in them. They have the same disgusting carpet that they've had in there for the past 20 years it needs to be vacuumed.. none of the vending machines were working. I think that it's only vendors in there and it has no janitorial support staff.. read more

Eric, an employee at the Holister in Town center mall clocked out and was on his way out of the store when he saw me looking confused and asked if i needed any help. I told him what I was looking for and he told me exactly where it was and he was super nice and genuine. He didn't think twice about not offering me his assistance although he had already clocked out to go home. I had an excellent shopping experience that day (Sept 16) because of him. read more

Went to Santa photo experience this year at Town Center at Cobb, Kennesaw GA. It would have been ok if the santa was professional. More like a clown in a santa suit. The absolute worst was he recoiled from my son and and said "no" when my son reached out to him. He literally stayed feet away from my son. Recent visits to Town Center at Cobb, better known as Town Center Mall has proven that the suburban indoor mall boom is certainly on its way out...when it originally opened in the 1980's Town Center had well over 200 stores, but at the time of this review they are down to around 150. They still have the large brands such as Belk, JC Penney and Macy's anchoring the mall along with several well known stores and brands such as H&M, Journeys, Lids, Spencer's and more combined with several locally opened and targeted stores. In my opinion, the food court is the best part of the mall in today's age and that is true here at Town Center as well. They have the food court favorites of Little Tokyo, Chick-Fil-A, Sbarro and Great American Cookies. Given the current plight of the mall, several stores now close well before the mall actually locks its doors. One surprising one is JC Penney who closes two hours earlier than the mall itself. In addition to the shrinking store fronts and questionable hours, the actual condition of the mall is headed downhill as well. On my latest visit, a few stores had to tarp off portions of their stores due to ceiling leaks that were not being repaired. Overall, Town Center Mall is a sad relic of what it used to be and given the continued rise in popularity of mixed use and open-air shopping centers, I do not see Town Center reliving its glory days anytime soon. It remains a last ditch for me when shopping. read more

Another Simon Property and like the others, well maintained and good selection of stores. We normally only visit if we are in town with the Grandkids for Christmas or lately we have stayed in some of the local hotels and stop by in case we forgot something. ( Which is just about everytime) Such was the case this trip. We were staying at the Holiday Inn Express and checked in on Thanksgiving Day. That night my wife discovered she had forgotten her socks. Volunteered to drive her over the next day (Black Friday) and at first she objected because it was Black Friday but then agreed. She decided on Macy's and I dropped her at the door. Parking lot was still largely vacant but that was to change over the next hour. She went in and the store was staffed for a crowd with at least two sales associates for each register. Found what she wanted and they were a great deal and she was back out in 10 minutes. We were originally going to come back that afternoon for a visit with the Grandkids with that Jolly Old Elf but the three year old was having one of those "No" Days. Much better attitude on Saturday and everything went well. A small wait which was surprising because I expected worse but it went smoothly. Got some great shots of Santa with the Kids and they enjoyed it as well. Fun time by all and I think the parents enjoyed it as much as the Grandkids read more

I have worked in this mall for 15 years. I was working on a project that involved perfume and needed to record a few of my friends smelling fragrances. The first time I recorded, 2 security officers walked right by me and said nothing. The 2nd time I attempted to record, one security officer in particular rudely approached me and told me that I could not record in the public area inside the mall without a license. So, I respectfully took my project outside. She followed us outside and repeated, "you cannot film without a license". I expressed that I thought being outside would have been ok and that she was not very clear. She then said "well, now you know". All of this followed by an unnecessary police presence. I don't appreciate this kind of treatment, especially as a mall employee that's been there more than a decade. If it were really about the license, someone would have approached me sooner. I am not a 15 year old running rampant in the mall. This could have been handled a lot better. read more

I have been there on several occasions and the food court is a sweat box there is no air conditioning in that location. You want to be comfortable and cool when eating. They need to fix it ASAP read more

Parking is abundant and easy to navigate. They have a nice selection of store, but I feel that the food court could be better and have more options. They have some of my favorite stores! It is well kept and clean, the parking lot could use some care, but the inside is well maintained. Ever since I have moved to the Canton area, this mall is much more easily accessible than north point. I have met my friends here a couple of time, good place to get a little shopping done and spend time with friends. read more

For the Atlanta area, Town Center at Cobb (a.k.a. Town Center Mall) is an average, middle-of-the-road mall. This is a perfect example of a large suburban American mall that boomed in the 80s and 90s (it opened in 1986). Upon a recent visit, business still seemed OK, but I suspect it's dwindling and may continue to do so because of newer, more attractive mixed-use developments and online sales sucking business away. At least it hasn't turned into Gwinnett Place Mall which foreclosed in 2012 and has turned into an empty, eerie, ghost mall (https://www.yelp.com/biz/gwinnett-place-mall-duluth). Town Center and Gwinnett Place are (or were) very similar. They were built around the same time. Gwinnett Place opened in 1984, two years before Town Center, and both malls were owned and operated by Simon Malls. Simon no longer owns/operates Gwinnett Place, but still owns/operates Town Center along with other major metro Atlanta malls like Lenox Square, Phipps Plaza, the North Georgia Premium Outlets, Mall of Georgia, and Sugarloaf Mills. Town Center and Gwinnett Place are similarly sized with similar layouts. Both are even encircled by a "Ring" Road. They are (or were) pretty much sister malls. I'm not exactly sure why Town Center has fared better than Gwinnett Place over the past decade. Overall, I view Town Center as just another run-of-the-mill suburban mall. It's not a bad mall, though it does feel a bit dated. It's been kept in good condition and occupancy is high. At the time of writing this review, there are over 175 stores with four anchors: Belk, JCPenney, Macy's, and Sears. The mall is two stories. Nothing really sets it apart from other malls in the metro area. It's fairly unremarkable. When it comes to traditional malls, I think Lenox and Perimeter are superior because of their far better, more interesting and unique tenant mix (both restaurants and retailers). Admittedly, I'm not a huge fan of shopping and most of the tenants at Town Center don't interest me. Typical of suburban malls, Town Center is popular with families and a lot of teenagers like to hang out here. read more

I'm just not a fan of malls in general. I hate shopping, unless I'm shopping for food. Therefore, my visits to malls are few and far between. However, my experience at this mall was a pleasant one. Great atmosphere and very clean. My only suggestion would be to provide more seating throughout the mall. Just about everytime I needed to find somewhere to sit, I had to walk a little distance away from my party to get a seat. This mall does have comfortable chairs! I need those chairs for my home! This mall is pretty expansive! In a world where malls are quickly becoming obsolete this one was still very popular. I really feel like this mall has something for everybody! We really enjoyed going into stores like Disney, Hot Topic, Bath & Body Works, and Victoria's Secret. Another cool store that we didn't partake in but enjoyed watching people at was the store where you can sit down and little fishies eat the dry skin on the bottom of your feet. read more

A solid 3.5 stars This place is a mix bag for me. I use to come here constantly as a teenager Then I grew out of it. Then I hated it. Then I liked it again. Then I hated it and liked it and then...now we're friends again....ya sounds like high school romance if you ask me.... The place was falling apart for a while and then Mr. Town Center stepped up to the plate and sent her to a good plastic surgeon.....now she's all nice and botox out like a Hollywood movie star trying to look 25 when she's 68...... They have the few stables like Macy's and Belk. Here is a small listing of the place to give you an idea... Abercrombie & Fitch Build a Bear Disney Store Express Footlocker Forever 21 Game Stop Godiva H&M Hot Topic JC Penney Justice Pac Sun Papaya Sephora Swarovski Vans The mall itself is off of I-75 and there is a Regal Cinema behind it as well. There is a J Christopher and a Fuddrucker nearby. If I had my 'druthers', I'd go to Lenox or even Perimeter, but as Town Center is closest to my house, it's where I end up. My favorite shop is Macy's. Prices are good -- Macys card holders get extra coupons -- and they opened an outlet section in the basement, that's similar to TJ Maxx. I've bought some pretty cool rugs (from the Andy Warhol collection!) and the leather sofa I coveted and ultimately bought, is from their furniture department. When I was adding charms to my bracelet, I used the quick fix jeweler, and I've been known to buy earring-backs in Claire's. Though I'm not their target audience, I go to H&M and Forever 21 for inexpensive trendy clothes. The mall is okay. I'd like it better if it had Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters. I'd also like a nice sit-down restaurant. But hey - the food court has the usual representation of places, and there are scores of restaurants up and down Barrett Parkway. read more

Masks are mandatory, but I did see some dumbass bad-boy wanna-be's walking around without them. Hours have been shortened because of COVID, mall closes now at 7pm. Some of the smaller stores have moved out, so there are quite a few vacancies. Sears is closing, will be gone soon. Most of the individual stores won't let you in without a mask. Most of the stores have great discounts and sales going on now. Summer clothing on sale throughout. Lots of yummy choices at the food court, even one that's all-vegan (the fried kale chips were so good) There's a new restaurant going in, Vietnamese. Lots of shoppers, most were pretty good at social distancing. There's a playground for kids, and miniature golf right in the mall. A little train goes around, not sure what it costs to ride. There's a Regal Cinema outside in a separate building, but it looks closed for Covid. The mall needs some TLC, lots of burnt-out light bulbs, threadbare carpet, etc, but still a good mall. Lots of good safe parking. If you are paranoid, you can park near the security office, between Macys & Belk. This is actually a Cobb County Police Station, with a little jail right in the mall (below Rue21). And Cobb County cops wander the mall, and some regular mall cops, too. Shoplifters wind up in Cobb Co. lockup, yikes! So not a good mall for petty theft. Only about a mile from Kennesaw State University, so you'll see a lot of students working and shopping there. Only one complaint: there is no place to sit. This is especially annoying to the grandma who drives the teenagers to shop, and has no comfortable place to sit and wait for them. All the comfy sofas have been removed, I guess for Covid? So stupid. You can't get Covid from a chair! You get it from breathing in other people's air. It's not absorbed through the skin ! If you think you touched something with germs on it, then wash your hands, or use hand sanitizer. Don't touch your face, don't lick your fingers, don't pick your nose, don't rub your eyes. Avoid people who don't wear masks. There are restrooms in the anchor stores (Penneys, Macys, Belk) also near the police station (under Rue21 in the Belk wing) and in the food court. All-in-all, a nice place to shop or just kill a coupla hours. Update 1-20-21 The Vietnamese restaurant is great! I Luv Pho is located under the food court and I love it! (See separate review). The children's playground was closed for Covid-19, and I didn't see the little train that drives people through the mall. Arcade Games was open, and so was miniature golf. And the soft chairs were available for tired grammas. read more

I came here for a little yelpers mall scavenger hunt event. Unfortunately, Kellie was not here, but she was replaced by her amazing colleague, Erica. Erica did an absolutely amazing job putting on this event. Coming into the event, we did not know what to expect, but when we got there, Erica had a table set up in the middle of the mall, with other Simon mall representatives. After getting a 'goodie bag' from the mall for both adults and children, we were off to do our scavenger hunt. There were many locations to go to, however to enter yourself into the raffle, you needed to hit 8 of the 12 locations and get your card back to the table by 2:00pm EST. We were able to hit all 12 locations, and I am glad that we were able to do that. Aveda provided a mini goody bag as well as a gift certificate for a free pampering package. Belk gave a nice little gift bag full of goodies including a pair of sunglasses (the kids loved) Brooklynns gave the kids and parents a gift bag including a well needed larger bag to carry all of our goodies in. Godiva was one of the family favorites, as they gave a FULL box of chocolate biscuits Sephora provided some skin products that were defintiely appreciated by my wife Toni & Guy is a hair salon that gave some great products, as well as a coupon for a future service. The Disney store was awesome. The sales manager provided 'ears' to the kids to design as well as did a raffle of a more sturdy pair of ears. since no one else attended the show, we had a 50-50% chance of winning (my wife or me). sadly, she won the ears! Heaven in a bag, LLC - is a gourmet popcorn company that provided a sample of chocolate caramel popcorn that my kids absolutely adored. Transcending Tea provided a compliementary sample BAG of Papaypa peach tea, which we were told was not available for sale, as of yet (we were pioneers) and last, but not least Chick Fil-A. The managing partner, Hanna Davis was beyond a superstar. From her vibrant smile to her amazing personaility that was amazing, she showed what true customer service was all about. She provided some amazing food, (at no cost to us), and got us pretty much ANYTHING we needed. (some people were greedy, as we saw a family order a lot of food and just bag it up and take it home), compared to the others who sat at the reserved table and enjoyed the food and the service. Overall, this was an amazing event that mmy wife and family thourhoughly enjoyed. They were surprised how amazing YELP is, and why i really enjoy going to these events. Erica did a fantabolous job and I am very thankful and grateful for her to put on this event, in Kelly's absense. Awesome job and thank you read more

I would give zero stars if I could! We have never seen such an unorganized mess as the mall Auntie Annie's! We arrived and they had zero pretzels. They sent us to the other end of the mall to their "main location" stating they would have pretzels ready. When we got there, lights were off and they were not able to help us, sending us back to the first location. Walked back! They had pretzels but could not give us the deal on the app. They had the nerve to tell US to "Calm down"! So unprofessional, disrespectful, and obnoxious! Idols other reviews this is average when speaking of shopping malls. Once I entered I felt as if I was in a cave being reception for cellular is horrific. I did find out that Macy's runs these amazing sells that have items marked down 70/80% which was a good find. If anything I'll start shopping in Macy's more but can't really say I'd make the trip to this location to do so. All in all you can't expect much being online shopping has taken over the retail business. read more

First time here. Stop by to catch up on some sale while in the area. Town Center is a very nice and beautiful mall. They have wide variety of highend stores and just places to shop when on a dudget. There are plenty of restaurants in the food court. Also a play area for the kids to wear themselves out before you do some hard core walking around shopping. I love this malls main stores. I am handicapped and am amazed that how many people park in the handicap parking without permits. Also they back into the places with huge vehicles so you can't see their non-handicap tag. Why are the mall cops not ticketing these offenders??? Heads up Stores. Who spends money in your stores?? As someone who grew up in the Woodstock area, I can definitely say I've been to this mall MANY times. The mall does get busy on weekends and holidays, but that doesn't stop me from coming. I have so many memories of having my parents dump me off here with friends whenever we were bored. There's always so much to do, look at, buy, etc. Stores tend to change and relocate frequently. Things are always up to date. The only big downfall are the public restrooms near the food court. You can expect it to be 88° in there at all times and absolutely nuts. Other than that small slip-up, I love coming here. read more

This by far is the mall that I go to the most out of all malls in Georgia. I give them four stars because every experience is not the best but for someone who loves to shop I can make it a great experience. This mall has all of the store that I love, especially bath and body works. I am here at least once or twice a week. I love that they have gotten a cinnabon in the mall and they are mean because they know I can resist it so they put it at the front door. lol. I love this mall but I am not a fan of going on the weekend because it is crowded with too many teenagers. I prefer to go to the mall when they are in school so that I can shop in peace. read more

Town Center gives me the creeps. Back in the 80's it was the place to go- it had everything you needed. Then fancy Northpoint Mall opened and everyone decided to haul themselves to Alpharetta rather than go to Kennesaw. Then the decline of the mall occurred. Now it seems to be a teen grommet fest (grommet= wannabe goth kids who can't seem to get the look right- it's sort of goth meets redneck) and most of the decent stores (like Banana Republic) have pulled out. But they do have all of the teen dream stores- Delia's, Forever 21, Charlotte Russe, etc. The food court is still pretty decent, and beats Lenox, in my opinion (hey I worked in that mall for too long) so that's a plus, and parking isn't as stressful as Lenox either. I seem to go to this mall every few years, hoping for a good change, and it never seems to happen. read more

I grew up with Town Center because I lived close to it. I remember all the memories I had here. Every weekend during High School, I would drive up and go to the Arcade near the entrance, and my brother and I would destroy everyone at Tekken 3. Ah the good old times. When I recently went back, it looks like nothing has changed. It looks the same as it did in the 90's. Except now, it looks older and hasn't aged well. It's like a middle aged, overweight Gen-Xer who still wears flannel over his stained Pearl Jam shirt. In fact, they still have the skaters loitering in the front like the good old days. They don't have the Arcade anymore. I understand, but it feels bittersweet to me to not see the Arcade anymore when I walk in. I understand though because Arcades are relevant as video rental stores. The mall looks smaller than the other newer, renovated malls. It has newer stores like H&M and such, but they look pathetic. I have to admit, this mall had a ton of cute girls when I went compared to the other malls. But that's just my creeper, old man side talking. I just hope they go to Kennesaw State University and not high schools. Ugh. read more

I've been to Town Center mall more than any other mall. It's kind of the heart of the Kennesaw area and has been for as long as I can remember, being right on the Barrett Pkwy strip. As far as size goes, it's pretty enormous, and varied in content as a mall should be: from department stores to poster shops to all the major outfitters and so on and so on. I'd probably come here before any other mall in the area, except for perhaps Lenox, though there you are going to fight much more traffic than at Town Center. The main entrance here is pretty dependably stocked with preteen smokers and Marilyn Manson-ites. The security used to chase them off but now there's a little designated area where they can stand. The overall air of Town Center isn't quite as cruddy as, say, Cumberland, and not as swank as Lenox or Northpoint. It's a mall that flourished in the early 90's and that shows. As for food, they don't have anything special: Ruby Tuesday, Morrison's Cafeteria, and the food court. The best thing here, as with any mall, is the people watching. All the Woodstock and Kennesaw families bring their hunchback kids here to run around. In the early morning the old ladies come to do powerwalking laps. Fun. read more

Really sad to see the decline of this mall. I've been shopping here for 25 years and for every nice store that closes, a silly no name dress "boutique" opens. Caters clearly for the KSU college crowd and has pushed out many other sensible stores. Of course, still has a Macy's, Belk, JC Penney, Sears anchors and several usual mall type stores. No restaurants anymore, only a typical food court. The worst part is walking on the lower level and being accosted by every single kiosk employee as you walk by. Incredibly tiresome, I don't want your little piece of wax or whatever that stuff is your holding out and no, I don't want to try on hair extensions! Oh well, there's always Northpoint in Alpharetta. I think that's where the grown ups shop. Worth the drive! read more

Times have definitely changed at some malls. This mall was ok, not real impressed. One thing I really don't care for is being hit up with sales pitches by the kiosks sales people. I understand times are tough, having a family owned and operated business, I understand. We were also hit up by some guy, to register to win a boat, the minute we walked through the mall entrance. One of the biggest turn offs from shopping at some malls, these days. If I am interested in a product, I will approach the store or sales rep. The only reason why I bothered to stop at the mall, was to buy a small kitchen appliance at JC Penny, only to find out, there home department is at a different location, outside of the mall. Also, trying to find an employee to help us at JC Penny was next to impossible. Non of the employees around seemed one bit interested in assisting a customer. read more
