I did have some small issues around housekeeping. We were there for four nights. Unfortunately we missed the first cleaning since we didn't leave until 5pm or so. We communicated that we ran out of conditioner and hopefully they could at least do a refill on a day that we wouldn't normally get cleaning. Nothing the next day. then the following day we left around noon and I asked to make sure we would get the room serviced; I was told that it would be. Got back to the room and nothing done. I was kinda irked for a few reasons. Don't tell me it will be cleaned if it won't. If a room missed cleaning for a few days, it would be nice if they could offer an off day cleaning. We informed them that we were out of conditioner, that should have been a follow up to get resolved.

The employees are very nice, especially Carlos. We stayed in a 2 queen with a sofa bed room. The room was equipped with a mini fridge and microwave as well. I love a room with a microwave, it's not very common anymore. The beds were comfy, pillows were a little too soft but that's okay. No issues with cleanliness. Loved the complimentary breakfast. They have a waffle station, bagels, toasts, muffins, cereal, oatmeal, cereal, eggs, meat, and potatoes. They also serve coffee, water, and juice. They also have a mini mart where you can purchase things. Another plus is free parking. The only downside is what all the other reviews mentioned was the paper thin walls, but we didn't have any issues with over excessive noise. Otherwise, great hotel.

My kids enjoyed them so much. The hotel room and amenities met my expectation for a hotel. We did have some issue with the hot water in our bathroom. But I was able to call the front desk, and they were able to send someone to fix it the same day so finally, hot water in the shower! I wanted to talk about how AMAZING the shuttle service is. So they provide a complimentary shuttle service to Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm. My kids actually enjoyed the shuttle service and it worked out really well with timing for us to travel to the amusement parks without worrying about driving/parking. They have a phone number you can text to make/cancel reservations, they do require advanced notice for this. Each time, they do send a confirmation text so I know I will be picked up. The shuttle may run on time or a little bit late or even a little early, but overall, it was a good experience with it. We always arrived to the stop early enough so we can board. The shuttle does allow strollers without issue so that is great. I think the biggest perk of this place is the shuttle service. Also, parking at the hotel is easy. There's plenty of parking and they do not charge for parking if we are a hotel guest. They provide a parking pass to use during our stay. In the evening, the spots closer to the hotel are taken but still plenty of parking. This is a great location in Buena Park, it is very close to Portos as well so that's a great bonus!

READ BEFORE BOOKING…read more I rarely leave one star reviews, but as a business owner I appreciate detailed reviews before spending my money. If I owned this property, Id want to know where guests were having a poor experience. Here was mine. 1.) Mandatory Valet Parking Valet parking is required and costs $27 per night. If you werent expecting it or you're staying several days, it adds up quickly. 2.) Valet Service and Tipping No one explained how the valet process worked or what the tipping expectations were. I didnt have cash, and after picking up on that, some of the valet attendants noticeably changed their attitude. Doors stopped being opened for me, and I overheard comments about not receiving a tip as I walked away. If valet is mandatory, the hotel should explain whether tips are expected every time your car is retrieved and provide a cashless tipping option. If you're coming and going several times a day, it becomes confusing and discouraging for guest and Valets. 3.) Coffee The room only included enough coffee for about two cups. If you wanted more, you had to request additional coffee packets. Ive stayed at many Hilton properties and have never had to ask for extra in room coffee. 4.) No Microwave There was no microwave in the room. Bring back takeout or leftovers? Hope you like it cold. 5.) Trash There were no public trash cans on our floor other than a thin designer trash can by the elevators. If you accumulated trash before housekeeping arrived, it either stayed in your room or went for a walk with you. 6.) Towels The bath towels were noticeably smaller than what I've received at other Hilton properties. 7.) Shower Controls The shower has two handles but no instructions. One controls the water temperature and the other switches between the upper and lower shower heads. If youve never used this setup before, youre left guessing. Adults eventually figure it out, but I could easily see a child (like mine did) turning the wrong handle and getting an unexpected blast of hot water from the overhead shower. A couple of small labels wouldve made all the difference. 8.) Laundry There were no guest washers or dryers. The hotel offers a laundry service charged by the pound with a $25 minimum. If you're staying several days, a guest laundry room wouldve been appreciated. 9.) Internet Standard internet is complimentary for the first seven days, but my speed tests averaged around 12 Mbps. Checking email is fine. If you work remotely, attend video meetings, upload content, or run a business while traveling, expect to pay extra for faster internet. 10.) Key Cards No one explained how the key cards worked. We learned through trial and error that certain floors and areas required a physical key card while others worked with the app. One day we could move freely between floors, the next day we couldn't. We also had key cards stop working after being near a phone, requiring another trip to the front desk. 11.) Toilet Paper Yes, toilet paper deserves its own section. The room came with only two rolls. When we needed another, calling the front desk went to a voicemail box that was full. That meant walking downstairs to request toilet paper in person. This seems like one of those problems thats really easy to fix, and one guests shouldnt have to think about while staying at a Hilton. 12.) Business Center The business center has one computer with only 15 minutes of complimentary access. Ironically, it also has the microwave I wish had been in the room. 13.) Room Service The menu clearly states every order includes a mandatory 20% gratuity plus an 8.75% California sales tax, and that the server receives 100% of the gratuity. That means every $100 food order already includes an additional $28.75 before any optional tip. What confused me happened when the food arrived. Before handing me my food, I was asked to sign another receipt with an additional tip line. Maybe it was optional, maybe it wasn't, but nobody explained it. A simple explanation would've cleared up the confusion. 14.) Housekeeping Credit where it's due. Housekeeping did an excellent job. The room was clean, the linens were fresh, and the room was well maintained throughout our stay. Overall I've stayed at many Hilton properties over the years and have generally had excellent experiences. This was the first one where I left disappointed. None of these things by themselves wouldve ruined the trip. Put together, it felt like there was always one more unnecessary inconvenience waiting around the corner. Most of these aren't expensive fixes. They are communication issues, guest experience issues, or simple operational changes that would make a noticeable difference. No toilet paper after a night of trying the local food trucks was the deal breaker for me. That was a situation I never thought Id find myself in at a Hilton. I hope management sees this as constructive feedback because I think this property has the potential.

There were 2 adults and 3 kids in our group and we got the larger room, which was plenty of room for all of us. At a rate of about $250, it wasn't cheap but also very doable for such a large group. The room had a little kitchen area with 2 barstools and there's a mini fridge in the room. The bathroom products are nice, its a boysenberry vanilla fragrance - that was a very nice touch. The bathroom looks and feels very dated. Parking was easy. There were spots to park but not very many extra. There were events going on so i'm sure that was why limited parking. The lobby is very nice and spacious. You can tell its been redone and now its more modern but still has the farmhouse feel. The lobby furniture is plentiful and comfy and the hotel bar is also right there in lobby. The restaurant Thirty Acres is right behind the bar and there's a tiny cafe that serves Starbucks coffee and they have their own little retail store too, which is nice and convenient. The walk to Knott's is just a few minutes. We looked at pool, basic, has a lot of lounge chairs. There's a fitness center but we didn't get a chance to use or check it out. Bar was great! They have Happy Hour and their drinks are yummy and reasonably priced. Worth it to come to this bar instead of getting drinks in the park because those have become pricey as h@ll!! The bartenders were super friendly. Would return if they did some type of extra discount or special.

The front desk people were friendly and the location has some eateries shops and a Trader Joe's almost right next door, as well as a Costco behind that. It's decent, it's not that bad and it's near walking distance to some good places - Knotts Berry is a 15 min walk but we drove there instead being like a good 1-2 min drive. Medieval Times was like a block away (Cable Guy was filmed there) but maybe next time, along with Porto's SoCal Only exclusive bakery, Target and much others, and Outback Steakhouse is next door. Anyway, the rooms are decent and so was the pool but didn't take a dip even though I did bring some swim shorts. The shower in our room where I stayed could've had some soap bar holder of some sort but didn't. The AC was working though it wasn't scorching hot that week, didn't seem to auto turn off when the temperatures are met so I just turned it off during the evening. Continental breakfast is from 7-9am and we got up early for that and love the waffle machine which you make with the provided batter, corn flakes cereal and Cheerios toast, milk coffee probiotic yogurt. I just use the waffle machines at the desired timer of 2:30 and take it out. Of course the atmosphere is pleasant and the patrons here surely the majority are staying here of course to go to the amusement park no doubt. There is a jacuzzi but it was out of service at the time. There is no gym as I walked around. Free WiFi is ok but I couldn't view our cameras back home so either use the cellular network (we have ATT and is decent speed but faster if you're outside ) or a VPN. And plentiful outlets to plug stuff, hangers, closet ironing board, the short fridge is super cold it could ice your water a bit, and decent tv with ehhh some channels but we didn't watch much. Bathroom door is a sliding door with a hook from the inside and well there isn't much privacy if you're sitting down on the toilet. All in all, it's not grand or luxury but it's decent and no complaints. Would we stay here again? I'd say an absolute yes but maybe for a 2nd time

Shame on me for not reading the reviews first because this was, hands down, the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I still can't believe I paid $200 a night for this place. The horror movie started before we even checked in. Cockroaches were having what looked like a family reunion all over the outside of the building. Not one or two. They were everywhere. Then, just when I thought it couldn't get worse, we got to the third floor and a giant cockroach casually strolled across the hallway while we were waiting for the elevator like he owned the place. Honestly, I think he was the assistant manager. Then the elevator doors opened. The smell hit us so hard I think my ancestors caught a whiff. Imagine a soaking wet dog that hadn't seen a bath in years, mixed with mildew and old carpet. It was so bad I was holding my breath just trying to make it to our room. Opening the room door felt like unlocking a level in a haunted house. The mattress was stained, the mattress protector was ripped, there was mold in the bathroom, and every piece of metal was rusted. I wasn't sure if I should unpack or call an exterminator. Thank goodness we were only there for one night because all four of us were packed and ready to leave by 6:00 a.m. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. Save your money. Stay at a Motel 6, sleep in your car, or pitch a tent in the Disneyland parking lot. Any of those would be an upgrade. This place needs to be condemned, boarded up, and handed over to the cockroaches because they're clearly the only ones enjoying their stay.

Let's start with the actual check-in process. When I walked in, I felt a slight attitude from the women that worked behind the counter. I felt like I was bothering them to check in and did not really feel welcomed. The room itself is quite old and small, but did the job as it was only for me and two minor boys. However, there are a few things that I noticed off hand that were just strange and not up to the Marriott standards that I'm used to. First off the TV was very small and did not work. The AC unit was tricky because you could not set an exact temperature you could only set it to cool or hot and warm your room or cool your room down and then be forced to get up and turn it back off. That is absolutely ridiculous. You should be able to be comfortable at a certain temperature in your room as if you were at home. Also, the drape over the window is just a little bit strange and could be a curtain or something a little bit nicer. The actual room came with two queen, beds, a desk, a random chair in the corner. There was no safe in the room, which I guess you can ask for one at the front desk. They also don't clean your room every day so you have to ask for clean towels. However, when I came back a second day and asked for clean towels, I was told they were washing some? That was really strange. I felt like they should always have some handy. Was it really that busy there that they ran out of towels? Also, the guy that came to fix the TV was just really sketchy and I did not understand what he was saying. And why does the TV not have at least a TV guide. In order to watch the TV you have to just constantly hit the channel button and you don't even know what you're trying to find to watch. So I barely used the TV. The bathroom was also something to be left to be desired. They did not give us a tub mat, which was interesting. Luckily my boys are old enough that they don't need one, but I thought that hotels normally give those. Also, there was no extra toilet paper and I had to ask for some at the front desk. They literally give you one makeup wipe, a tiny bar of soap, no lotion and the shampoo and conditioner and body wash are stuck on the wall, which is pretty standard down from some hotels. The hotel lobby is just basic. The breakfast is so so and it's something that's included so we took advantage. The first day we went we were able to sit down and enjoy a little bit of our food. However, the second day was extra crowded and we really just took our food to the room because there was nowhere to sit. We did not use the pool, hot tub or the fitness room so I cannot comment to any of those things. Now I have a question because if I am being charged incidentals? What is that I am being charged for because we did not use anything that we could actually charge. The TV did not have pay per view movies and when we went down to the lobby to get a couple of snacks we had to use our credit card to pay for them. What is the point of paying a deposit if there is nothing to charge to your room? Also the elevator is a little bit scary and quirky. You don't really know if you pushed the button or not and you don't really know which elevator is being called because nothing lights up. I did use the laundry area which is four dollars per wash and four dollars per dry and again had to use my credit card. Again, wondering why I had a credit card on hold for incidentals. With all the other options in the area, I don't think I will come here again. Again the location is fine because it's close to a Korean marketplace as well as a couple of eateries and again Knotts. However, there's other places you could stay that probably do the job better than this place. The owners of this hotel really need to read the reviews and update this place!

Stayed In a family room, AKA suite, for 3 nights. The bed was comfortable, and we got good nights'…read moresleep even with super soft pillows. Both showers were well drained, and hot water came on quickly. It was nice with the two bathrooms, as it speeded up our getting out in the morning. Toilets worked well. I mention this because our friend, who we were traveling with, had an issue with the toilet in his room. To make it right, management offered a suite. He just wanted it fixed, and it was. But he asked if we could be upgraded to a suite, and we were! The flat screen tv in our bedroom worked well when we were able to turn it on. As soon as we realized that it didn't come on because it was unplugged, husband moved the dresser and plugged it in. We wanted a channel guide, but none was on the tv or on paper in the room. We used the 2nd bedroom remote as our remote did not work. Maybe batteries were dead. We didn't need the iron & board in 2nd bedroom, but it was nice if we did need it. I definitely used the full length mirror in that room. The blackout curtains worked! No light came in and we slept through the night and sunrise. The AC unit in our bedroom was quiet. In the other room it was noisy. We appreciated the midsize fridge for leftovers. It couldn't refresh our cold packs, but we didn't expect it to do that. Microwave worked, and we assume the coffee pot did too. But we're not coffee drinkers. Only tea. Lids did not fit cups. Wrong cups. Got right ones downstairs. Breakfast staff was phenomenal! They were friendly and kept everything well stocked. Husband loved the eggs every morning, or had the delicious waffles. He also liked the hot meat (sausage, ham while we were there). We both had orange juice, but no coffee, tea or apple juice. Our friend appreciated the yogurts and fresh fruits. I did too, as well as Raisin Bran and reduced fat milk. He also liked the chocolate milk. Front desk staff was efficient and friendly. We had no problems and would recommend this hotel, the staff, and the amenities - especially free parking.
