This is definitely a hidden gem, the owners are giving the place a facelift. The rooms are clean painted and it looks like new flooring, the shower had a detachable head for those hard to reach places. One one of my favorite parts is they had a smart tv in the room so you're able to cast or mirror your phones, also had apps like YouTube that came in handy for my morning meditation. Place was ok, but horrible experience with front desk because he forgot to give me back my ID after checking in (we came late at 9pm after Disneyland). And yes, I forgot, too, but then shortly after we got to the room, we couldn't open the door and he came to help, so he should have given the ID then. Or when we checked out, he had the chance to give my ID back. So I called after we had left 2hrs later, he said that he was going to let me know my ID was there, but I was busy talking to my boyfriend (so you can't interrupt me to tell me my very important ID is with you?! WTF) and he said he would mail it out. On this phone call, we repeatedly went over the address due to his poor English. This was on Jan 8th. I've still not gotten it and he said he would mail it back tome that day. Since then on call #2, he said he will be on the lookout if he gets it back and I should call him if I haven't gotten it yet in a few days. On call #3 a week later, I ask if he's gotten my card and he said he hadn't, but he'll check his mail later and call me. Got my address again. Since then I've called to ask if he's sent it out or gotten my card yet and I think they screen my call because I can't get through. Today I used my boyfriend's phone and the call went through right away and I think I hear him in the background, but I"m told he's not around and to call back later. My boyfriend said that guy didn't ever try to give my ID back and he forgot to remind us several times when we encountered him during our stay. I know it's my fault too for forgetting, but he had multiple chances to give it back to us and it's really his responsibility to give it back to us and he never did, until we were out of town. So now I'm trying to get it back from him through multiple phone calls/ it's probably lost in the world/ I will have to go to the DMV and waste 4-5 hours of my life on this mess. This is a cozy place that is for the budget minded traveler. It is very reasonably priced and as long as you don't go in expecting 4 stars at a 2 star price, then you'll be content. Rooms are recently remodeled, though there are some minor issues that can be seen. The proprietor was very nice when I checked in later at night and was still able to get parking in front of the room. The door lock and closure was a bit loose and could have used some attention, but worked. The hardwood floor were a classy touch. Sadly one area they seriously skimp is on the pillow and sheet. And by sheet, I mean literally a single white sheet. There is NO comforter or other blanket and this is an issue as people do get cold even in sunny SoCal. The shower water pressure could have been better, though the shower decor with the tiled wall and backsplash was very tastefully done and better than some higher priced places I have stayed. All in all, if you're looking for a budget room with no frills, this should not disappoint. Bonus points for having a mini fridge and microwave in room along with a tv and directv. The wifi was a bit weak and in my opinion should be a secured network versus open, but this is a pet peeve of mine for any establishment as it's a simple step and for their customer's benefit. read more

I wanted to like this place, but it was impossible to. The owners are really nice, but the hotel is very dirty. I read some reviews about there being suspicious people on the premises as well as reviews about the unacceptable cleanliness of the hotel, but I figured it couldn't be that bad. It was. Upon arriving I wasn't too pleased with the amount of trash and trash bags in the parking lot, along with a general uneasy vibe, but I decided to still check in to my already booked room. I've never had to leave a room after already paying, but there's always a first for everything. The bed sheets were very obviously not washed, with both having big dirt stains. The front door was covered in dirt as well as our window screen being broken. On top of everything I found cockroaches in the restroom. The rest of the room wasn't in the best shape neither. The owners refused to give me my full refund back, so I'm out $70 so dollars, but it really wasn't worth it to me to stay in the place. My good friend and I took our Disney trip and decided to stay here for one night. It's a good thing I looked at yelp because this place was definitely impressive. They were in the process of remodeling this hotel. The night clerk was very friendly who guided us to our room. The room was clean and tidy. Typically I would bring my pocket black light and I did not find any residue from anybody Lee fluids that was left behind from the previous renter. Good price, Quality and service. Stayed in room 213. This is my second time staying here and I still plan on coming back here in the future! For a motel, paid a very affordable price. Close to Knott's Berry Farm & Disneyland. Also, if you forgot to pack anything there's a Target, Walmart, & Walmart Neighborhood Market near by. The room was very clean, didn't experience bed bugs like other people had. There was a fridge & mini freezer inside. Free parking. The AC worked wonderful especially since we came in August when it was super hot in Anaheim, so that was a huge plus! There's also a small swimming pool on the property, me & my family didn't use it but there was another family using it while we stayed there & they seemed to enjoy it. read more

Perfectly satisfactory for a one night stay. Our room was very clean and the wood laminate flooring looked new. There was a microwave and fridge in the room but no cups or ice bucket. We had a bit of a challenge finding the right water temperature and keeping the tub filled when we were bathing the kids but other than that the service was great. The gentleman at the front desk was very polite. I actually booked our room for the wrong date but he was really patient and got us into another room without trouble (it was the last room with double beds too, what luck). I was going to take the kids to the pool but after seeing it I wasn't even sure if it was open. There are several food and restaurant options nearby and two great parks not more than 5 minutes away. The bed was disgusting the floors where absolutely filthy, the bed had blood and pee on it as well as brown dirty stains as well as BED BUGS! I took pictures of hotel room as well as my bed bug bites to show the filth I was then later held financially responsible for the room despite its condition. After checking into the room not even 20min later I notified the staff as well as Danny (the owner) of the condition of the room. There was no remorse, they simply replied "if your trying to get a refund I will not be refunding you based on the condition of the room." BED BUGS stayed here for a total of two nights. 3/26-3/27 Received 8 bites including two on my face. ‍ idk if it was just our room (219) but my girlfriend and I were both victims of numerous bites. She even found one on my neck while I was sleeping! These vicious nasty blood sucking insects were enough to make me sleep in the car. furniture was all chipped up and the bed/pillows were stiff. Kinda like sleeping on chopped cardboard. Plus points for the microwave, nice staff, mini fridge and location near Disney, but those bugs need to go! I hope no one else has the same experience. DISGUSTING!!! Nice photos on Hotels.com but not even close to the real thing. First sign of trouble was the tweaker checking in ahead of me. Next, they don't have the room I already paid for and had a substitute, "no extra charge". WTF? I had bad feelings but kept an open mind. Stuff happens. So, I open the door and I immediately spot burn holes in the comforters. I start looking for bed bugs and inspect the linens. I didn't see any bugs, but I noticed several layers of coverings. I stripped the top sheet, which looked nice and clean. Then the second sheet. Also good. I pull that back to find huge yellow stains. Looks like urine. I immediately check the second bed. There's a definite blood stain. I pull back the next sheet and find long dark hairs as well as shorter, wiry hairs, indicative of pubic hair. I get to the next layer and there's all kinds of stains. Large yellow stains. Multiple brown spots. And more blood. NOPE!!! Gotta go. I immediately get my lady and our son out and back into the car and call the Hotels.com number. They ring the hotel, but the hotel doesn't want to give me a full refund. They have the audacity to still charge me for this disgusting room. I'll be in touch with their management in the morning. I went to the Knotts Berry Farm Hotel. It was only a few dollars more and WAY cleaner and nicer. Now, as I read the reviews and look at photos, some of these same things I saw are exactly what others posted a year ago. That's infuriating that they don't even bother to fix anything. If I could give them zero stars I would. I tried rescheduling my dates with them for almost a week straight and when the actual date of my reservation came up, I called again and they said they would give me a call back. No call back and my reservation time passed so they marked me as a no-show. The hotel is plain and simple. If all you need is a simple place to lay your head down, this is a great spot. Im giving them five stars because of the service that I received. The staff was awesome and extremely helpful. I accidentally left a very valuable item in the room upon checkout and the owner retrieved it. He held onto the item under lock and key until I was able to return. The owner could have easily kept the valuable item and informed me that it was not found, however he was completely honest. Rooms are nicer than what I expected when I first arrived. There seems to be people living here, one of them has cats in their window and outside their door. At the end of the day you get what you pay for $90/night and lower doesn't go very far in the hotel/motel industry. However this place seems to have poor cleaning procedures and property management. This is a great little hotel!! I stayed here with my mom for one night. It's just a quick drive from Disney, maybe like 10 minutes. We met Danny the manager and he was so nice. We checked in really late after going to Disney, and all we had to do was give him a call and he waited for us. Never had someone be so nice at a hotel/motel. The rooms are clearly newly renovated and very clean. The room had fresh linens and towels. As well there was small things of shampoo, conditioner, and soaps. There was a mini-fridge there and cable tv. Danny even met us at our car when we were going to check out, and told us we are good to go. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants to be close to Disney for a great price. The staff alone is a great reason to stay here. read more

Eh, you get what you pay for... My husband and I were in town for a Disneyland trip and were looking to cut costs. So, we booked this place through Expedia because it was cheap and not too far away. We live 5 hours away and hit some traffic on the way. I was slightly annoyed that they called us around 8pm asking when we were going to be there. Did it really matter? We already paid for the room, so it shouldn't have really mattered when we showed up... The hotel is located in a sketchy area, but is cleaner looking than most of the other hotels along that street. Check in was easy and the staff was very friendly. There was a VERY strong curry smell in the lobby area, I think it may be attached to a living area where the hotel owners live? Not sure. We got to our room right away and it seemed clean from first appearance. If you are REALLY looking, the room was actually quite gross and dirty. Most of it is just pure laziness. For things like the thick dust formed at the top of the headboards, if the cleaning staff would literally just wipe that once a day, it would make a huge difference. We had 2 broken lamps in our room which made for HORRIBLE lighting.... there were brown steaks on the wall in at least 3 places in the bathroom. The baseboards were also coated with thick dust. The dresser was falling apart. You can tell the rooms have recently been worked on. The floors were new and clean, there was new paint but it was a very cheap, poor job. The hotel's cheap renovations will not last long. I will say I never saw one single bed bug or cockroach and believe me, I looked! Housekeeping did clean our room up, replace towels and empty the trash once a day. I didn't like the fact that they didn't have any "do not disturb" signs. We didn't need people going into our room every day. But it was still nice to come back to the room cleaned up. We did not have blankets on our beds the entire time. We had sheets and some type of satin material thicker sheet. We thought maybe they just didn't have blankets so we went out and bought our own... We happened to see another room when a door was left open by other guests and they had blankets on their beds... so not sure why we didn't have any. This hotel supposedly has free wifi but were never given that info. That would have been nice to have. Do not expect to be able to print anything or use any type of business center here, because they don't have anything like that either. We needed to print something badly and they wouldn't help us out, had to go to Staples and pay to print something. The drive to Disneyland is about 7 minutes, which isn't bad. Like I said, you get what you pay for. If you are looking for a bed to sleep in and a shower, this place is for you. Anything else, you're on your own. I don't think I'd stay here again. read more

Pros: PRICE. What a great deal, for this location. Our room, beds and bathroom were clean. I stayed for a week and I saw and spoke with the owner several times as we were coming and going. He seemed really nice and was very responsive to our needs. The fridge was a nice benefit and there was a little freezer inside. Cons: Pool was small but sufficient. Towels were tired and a few really should be gotten rid of but they did the job. There was a rod to hang clothes on but no hangers. No dresser or stand for the suitcase to sit on. Indifferent: pillows were really heavy. They weren't uncomfortable but they were really heavy and solid so if you want a light and soft pillow, bring it. Or just go to Walmart and buy a cheap one. Had my sister stop by since I was in town to visit. Not even within five minutes, the same guy that helped me check in said visitors are not allowed. I was more surprised and disturbed that the Indian male worker said "I know because I was watching you." I know that a an Indian female was also watching me throughout the time I was unloading my car. Always looking right at me as I walked by. This isn't a very comfortable visit or stay. There was an incident on the other side of the property witch scared me and it was totally out of their hands. I just spent the last six days and five nights at FIVE DIFFERENT hotels. I had some hesitations when I booked this hotel. I arrived in Anaheim on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 and chose this place because it was a short driving distance to Disneyland. So it was only for me to rest and leave in the morning. I had booked two rooms. One for myself and one for friends joining me for Disneyland. Checking in was quick and painless. It is ran by a couple. When I requested something, the woman at the front desk replied "my husband will bring it right over." We were in rooms 117 and 218. For a rate of $65 for each room, you definitely get the bang for your buck. Both rooms were exactly the same. My room had a king size bed, a refrigerator, and a microwave. Rooms had hardwood floors, with some obvious minor wears and tears. All rooms are the perimeter of their parking lot. From my room 117, I can look across and see 218. It is a bit creepy at night but as always, you shouldn't be roaming around on your own at night anyway. The swimming pool is TINY. This place is great to just sleep, wake up, shower, and be on the move. The next time I visit Disneyland, I will be staying here again. read more

Stayed here 9/27-9/28 for 2 nights. At first when I saw the reviews I was excited because this place was just renovated and by the pics it looked really nice. This was my first time that I read reviews on hotels. Before I would just pick a hotel based off of owners pics and we all know how deceiving those might be. Anyways so for a month I kept coming back in here to see if there was any more updates. I booked the room mid September and the week before I was going someone posted on here that they found roaches in one of the rooms. That right there just put a stop to it. I HATE BUGSSSS!!! and especially if I am having my kids sleep there. So after I was a bit skeptical on keeping the room. I kept going back in to see if any one had stayed after that but nothing. So because we were on a budget for Disneyland I kept the room and just bought myself some DIY's on how to kill/prevent having roaches. I didn't know whether or not the owners sprayed after the complaint was made or even to say, before. I wasn't going to spend more than what we had budgeted on a hotel that we were only using to sleep. So we kept it. Before going to Anaheim, I looked up ways on how to kill roaches. YouTube has a lot of videos where people use duct tape and peanut butter to trap these bugs. So I bought duct tape minus the PB. Also bought some roach spray at the Dollar Tree cause I was not going to spend about $10 on roach spray for some place I'm only sleeping 2 nights. When we got to the place, we knew the outside wasn't going to be impressive, we were just waiting to get inside. I had called earlier the day of check in because I was going to check in late. Danny answered and said it was fine. I was supposed to check in at 4PM but arrived around 6PM instead. Parked in front of the office and got off. When I went up to the door, I pulled on it and it was locked I had to push a doorbell next to a night window, for help. I did and out came a woman. She then opened the door and I told her I was there for check in. I asked if I could pay cash for the room and she said yes. I don't think they do cash because she ran my bank card but I had withdrawn all my money then. She told me my card hadn't gone through and I had forgotten I was going to pay the hotel with the card. So when I asked to pay cash she went to the back room and came back to accept. Paid $116 for 2 nights through hotels.com and NO DEPOSIT which was a good budget saver. She then gave me the key to room 215 and the wifi password, right then and there Danny came out and both said to enjoy our stay. The lobby had a weird smell, idk how curry smells like but I remembered a lot of reviews saying the rooms and lobby smelling like it. So I believe that was the smell. Our room was upstairs. When we opened the door to the room, it smelled like the lobby but that didn't bother us. Before anyone would put down their stuff or climb on beds, I had to check to make sure there was no lingering bugs or anything that was going to gross me out. Everything checked out until the lights were turned on. Looks like there was some sort of paint or blood looking substance all over the bathroom door/walkthrough we couldn't quite figure it out. Then I turned around and saw a big white square like someone had forgotten to paint over where there was a hole of some sort. Everything else looked good. Furniture was beaten/scratched but we knew we weren't at a fancy hotel so it didn't bother us. Took off the bed sheets and checked for bed bugs. It checked out however there was hairs here and there even on the pillows but we didn't mind the hairs, we are more scared of the bugs since we had bought plastic sheets from the dollar tree to put over the mattress. The sheets also had yellow stains on them, like pee or something but again we weren't sleeping on their sheets we were more worried about the bugs. There was a couch there which looked old and had stains on it but we weren't going to use it either. TV was nice, good DirecTV. AC was good however we were either too hot or too cold but no big deal for us. Pretty spacious room. Thin walls, we kept hearing our next door neighbors talk all night long but we are all heavy sleepers so its not bad for us. The peep hole wasn't installed from the inside and there was a napkin in it lol. We didn't need it either so whatever. We knew we weren't staying somewhere fancy so nothing bothered us much except for the stains on the bathroom door and knowing that roaches roam at night. I started duct taping the bottom of the door making sure nothing got through the little crack at the bottom from the outside into the room. I also put a piece of duct tape on the sink where there seem to be a hole I thought "Roach House" and just covered it. Also put duct tape under the bathroom door just in case the roaches did come out at night they wouldn't come out from the tub drain into the actual room while we slept. Never found a roach. Maybe 2 bugs but nothing gross like roaches. read more

There was a mix up of flights with my roommate where I ended up flying solo for a day. My options were either wait at the airport for 20 hours, sleep on the streets, or find a hotel/motel. I was fortunate enough to book the closest and cheapest spot on Expedia. My check in time was 3 pm, but I arrived at 10 am. I got here earlier to see if my room was available and I was willing to wait. The manager was very kind and patient. He didn't want me to wait or wonder around the streets with my luggage so he gave me the two queen size bed with what seems to be remodeled room. I was so relieved and thankful! Tweekers look like there living in the room below with alot of traffic at there room. Random people just walking everywhere in the parkinglot. Cop came and talked to, looked like the manager. Whatever that was about. If I wasn't with my husband here I probably would have left. I could have killed him for choosing this Hotel!!! Never again is he allowed to book a room!!! read more

I wanted to add pictures to my review There was no sheet on our bed only a mattress cover that was stained with blood and looked like bugs in the corner. I asked the owner to come to the room to see what we were seeing he refused. I asked for a full refund due to the conditions he refused charging us for a night we not in the room 30 minuets. They make you pay in advance that should have been the first clue. read more

The room smelled a lot like "Fabuloso" cleaner, ha ha. We booked our stay through Priceline. We just wanted something cheap, close-by, but not too shabby... and we found it. The beds didn't have any blankets, just bed sheets... we had to run the heater all night. Upon getting myself into bed I noticed hairs on the bed underneath the sheets, gross! But was too tired leave. Would stay here again if there was nothing else in the area, but I do believe this room was cleaner than many others according to Priceline's review. The people at the front desk were nice and courteous. read more
