Sometimes it's hard to find melanated owned activities-hence the gentrification that's taking over the city (you'll get a lesson about it in your tour) but it's always refreshing to find those rare gems! It was such a vibe! They made sure you were equip for the bike ride, it will be about two hours or more (I can't remember specifically because thats how great of a time we had)-but they also give you some good breaks to catch your breath! If you're new to the city you'll learn history of our enslaved ancestors, dance a lot, and get a good work out in! The prices are also more than fair for all the fun you're going to have! Ren was an excellent tour guide who showed us hidden gems (including great bars) around the French Quarter. I highly recommend Ren, and also suggest taking Segway tours in the morning. We rode straight from the shop on the edge of the French Quarter through the Lafitte Greenway to City Park, where we walked through the sculpture gardens and then biked around the huge park. We stopped at Flour Moon Bagels, right off the trail, for lunch on the way back. Pick up was super easy, the bikes were in great shape, and Eric was very friendly. It was a fantastic way to see parts of Nola we would not have otherwise seen. We will definitely rent from Flambeaux on our next trip!
