My friend just had his car serviced at this shop for its second problem. The first problem took 2 times to fix it. They charged him more after the second attempt to the repair. The second problem the car was given back with same problem after $900 charge. Same issue with not proper repair and adding on costs. DO NOT GO HERE. I am 18 years old and - few months ago I took my car here to get AC/Heat work done. I was originally quoted $700 when i first talked with the owner Paul. I mistakenly didn't get recites or quotes and just went off what Paul told me I needed as I have no mechanical experience. after leaving my car with him for weeks at a time, in the end, I spent over $4200 with his shop and my AC/Heat still doesn't work properly. Frustrated, I took it back to Paul and told him to fix it same day with no charge. instead of diagnosing the issue I explained over the phone, he let my car run in the parking lot for hours in the sun with the "heat" blasting (on a 75° day) and told me it was all fixed with no issues. After picking it up two days later, I still have no heat or AC and now i'm out $4200 with an on going investigation with the Maryland consumer protection agency. Not only was the issue not fixed but I took my recites to a VW parts department and found out Paul over charged me by $100s. Some of the parts required were $24.99 and I was charged $200.... This is a shady business and I do not recommend entrusting them with any of your hard earned money. They take advantage of younger people and in other reviews you can see he's done the same thing in the past. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

Very bad experience with the Deale location. Dropped off car labor day evening and had been told to push keys through the exhaust port in the garage door. THe next day they call and say they can't find keys. I drive there and look for them in the garage where I'm thinking they may have wound up under something. No luck. I then ask the indifferent office manager if the shop had been swept that morning - she's evasive, I look in the trash can which is empty. So she mentions that they may be in the dumpster and I can go dumpster diving, I remove a few things and there they are. I should have left then but I needed the AC in my car fixed do left the car. AC was acting up, working sometimes and not working other times. I get called later that it needs a $1000 compressor replacement. That a new compressor is $500 (they're $200 online). I'm mechanical but not having the skills or equipment say go ahead. Car is ready next day (remanufactured compressor and a bracket bolt is missing btw) so I go and pick it up. Drive a few miles away and its doing the exact same thing!!!! Return to shop where the indifferent mechanic tells me to talk to Paul the owner. I am livid that I paid $1000 for nothing - so I leave the car. Then get a call the next day that the shifter is not working (I have never had this problem once since I've owned it!). I'm helpless so I say replace the shifter. The orifice tube is also replaced (a $5 part that should always be replaced when the compressor is replaced). That seems to fix the problem and I bite the bullet on the shifter ($300). But, to add insult to injury when I get the car back there is grease all over the passenger seat and on the drivers side door sill. I text pics to the owner but no reply. If you see the kids that work there you would understand why....haven't changed work clothes in days. This is a dirty shop with untrained and sloppy mechanics. You have been warned. Paul is a horrible owner. He doesn't take care of his clients and will give you your car back worse than how you brought it in. The broke all my clips while attempting to fix my AC and now they are refusing to give me a refund (for even just the labor). FIND ANOTHER SHOP! read more

Worst experience ever. This place replaced a water pump and within one week my vehicle acted up and overheated again. After going to another mechanic I had to then replace the water pump, thermostat and radiator because Town Square auto put the wrong coolant in my vehicle. read more

Do not go to these guys, they'll rip you off with your money and overcharge on labor. First they proceeded on repairing my car without giving me a phone call to inquire me about the cost and ask for permission to proceed. I'm not even sure they're certified mechanics working in there for the poor work they've done on my car and still hasn't been fixed! Save your money go somewhere else read more

I've taken my '72 Ford to these guys for some tire work, and they've been great. Good service, fast and accomodating. They'll tell you if somethings wrong, but won't hard sell you. They got me a good set of tires for the Ford, on and mounted, within hours of dropping it off and they had to order the tires! Pretty cool, and in my case the cost was comparable to tirerack.com, without the extra time and work of transporting my new ones to the shop. read more

I'd never been to Town Square before I had a car issue pop up midday on a day when I had no reasonable backup transportation. My normal shop wasn't able to get me in, but Town Square was very friendly and told me to come over right away and they'd take care of me. They found the issue right away and luckily, I just needed a new battery. The cost of the battery was reasonable and they didn't charge me for labor; just the part. I went in for balljoints and they decided i needed new brakes, that i had recently replaced, upon inspection of the old brakes, (which i kept) i discovered they had 70% life. Same vehicle 6months earlier i took in to have o2 censors changed, they put cleaner through the engine instead causing my catalytic converters to fail. DO NOT go to these people, they sell you cheap unnecessary parts and charge you for more expensive parts, and still never fix the issue. read more

This shop does not perform quality work and installs cheap parts that don't work. Have taken my truck for various issues and while "fixing" the issues, they have installed a faulty power steering pump, blown a muffler, performed and charged for unauthorized work and damaged the electrical system. One issue was not resolved until after the third visit back. They will take your money and not perform a thorough quality check. When you ask them to correct the issue post-payment, they take their sweet time. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS! read more

Have had my vehicles serviced by Town Square for several years now, I used to do it, but who needs that hassle when Town Square is so fast and reasonable. We needed a new transmission for the minivan and they were able to do the job much cheaper than the dealer, when we had issues 6 months later, they replaced it with no fuss. Never again we will take our cars there again! My husband had our Buick taken in for repairs. They said we needed a rack and pinion steering column. It cost over $1500 in repairs and the problem was never fixed. They also did a front end alignment. A few weeks later my husband got stranded coming home from work and had to have the car towed. The parts they replaced failed and had to be fixed again. The problem still continued so my husband took it to another repair shop. It was the power steering pump the entire time! The car had to also have ANOTHER front end alignment. Be careful of this place. If you don't know much about cars or repairs get a second opinion. The manager would not even look me in the eye when confronted about these errors, nor would they refund any money back!! I've also heard from another friend that she was also riipped off there. BEWARE...many people are still dishonest out there and will do what they can to make a buck! read more
