I went back about 3 hours later and he had told me that he forgot to sharpen it but it would only be a minute. He handed me my knife and it left. When I got home I noticed that he had gone a little too far down the blade and wrecked the first 2/3 of the serrations on the knife. I took it back and he said that he would fix it but it would take a week. I went back to grab the knife and it looks like the only thing that he did was touch up the black on the back of the knife. Very disappointed that he tried to do it in a hurry and wrecked the serrations on a $120 knife. Now I have to go find someone else to fix it.

When I woke up in the morning, the anklet and charm were lying in my bed. I expressed concern when I brought the anklet back, saying I could have lost the $1,000 piece and also suggesting that Hammond Jewellers should pay for the replacement clasp since it was damaged when the anklet was in for repair. The manager squeezed the clasp together with some pliers and told me it was fixed. I questioned her, saying that it didn't seem like a reliable solution. I also told her that we were good customers and to know that I wouldn't be back if she didn't replace the clasp free of charge. She asked for my name and allowed me to walk out of the store.
