We came to the Towne Centre at Laurel to look around at Guitar Center. We did find ourselves looking around other stores while here. We parked on the side close to Old Navy. We enjoyed a bite to eat at Sakura. You can't go wrong with their Teriyaki Chicken, Rice and Steamed Veggies combo that comes with a drink. The plus side of the Town Centre is the AMC Movie Theater. It's in the center end of the Town Centre. The shopping centers overall is good. There are a variety of stores, food, the movie theater and a few necessity spots for example a Dentist. Some may say why put one in a shopping centre but I've seen this more often than you may think. It doesn't hurt for convenience, so I don't have any negative feedback on that. read more

This location is pretty cool. Its new (opened in the last two years) and located right on Rt. 1 in Laurel. I always visit when l am in the area. They have a Harris Teeter, movie theater, Buffalo Wild Wings ( to open shortly), Mission BBQ, Blaze Pizza, Ulta, Old Navy and a host of other stores. There is plenty of parking, security is visible, and l felt comfortable shopping here everytime l have visited. read more

Laurel has been coming the new hot spot. Back in the day it really wasn't much of anything over here! I know for me I love it since I don't live far from Laurel. I think they have alot to offer from restaurants to a great movie theater and shopping. Some of my favorites here include Thai at Laurel, Nando's, BJs, the beer and wine store, and Burlington. Vast improvements have been made in the area that once used to occupy Laurel Mall. If you're looking to do a little shopping, grab a bite to eat and catch a movie, The Towne Center is the perfect catch-all spot. Shopping options include Old Navy, Burlington Coat Factory, Ulta Beauty, Sports Authority and many more. It's sort of a mass strip-mall but very well kept---I've never gone into any of the stores around here and dealt with clothes on the floor and/or a lack of organization---and with a retailer like Burlington, that's saying A LOT. There's great restaurants here too (mmmmmm BJ's), and trendy little fast-casual places like Blaze' Pizza, Panera, and BurgerFi. Parking is like parking in any highly trafficked area---you might have to walk a little to get to your destination. It's nothing serious or worth crying about. To blast this entire location because you're too lazy to walk an extra minute to some fatty restaurant (I see you ordering them extra large fries) is a disgrace...point blank! Lol. Love coming here for the great food and all of the shopping options. read more

A sad replacement for the covered mall. All chain stores, ill-conceived traffic flow with pedestrian crossings on main arteries, bizarre placement of parking (back out into the main entrance road from US 1) and muzak on outdoor speakers. Bottom Line: A new and clean shopping center with a "main street" and various surrounding stores including the crowing jewel, Regal cinema. Like so many other shopping centers that have popped up in recent years, the Towne Centre at Laurel has a "main street" that is supposed to be nostalgic of 1950s-ish shopping experiences and serve as a focal point of the shopping center. The main street features a few stores and restaurants with Regal, anchoring the end. Other establishments are sprinkled around the main street inclusive of a parking garage. If this Towne Center reminds you of The Village at Waugh Chapel, Waugh Chapel Towne Centre or Annapolis Towne Centre its because they were all developed by Greenberg Gibbons. Like its cousins with similar layouts, if you are able to get a parking spot on the main drag in front of your intended destination then you've gotten lucky but often you will have to park in the garage or a lot off to the side and then walk to your destination. I personally don't mind walking, buy my enthusiasm dwindles depending on the whether, if I am in a rush or have children in tow. The buildings here look modern but classic, especially when compared to the sad, adjacent Laurel Shopping Center. The landscaping is nicely done too. Highlights for me include Regal, Harris Teeter, Blaze Pizza, BJs and Nando's Peri Peri but aside from the nice movie theater, this Shopping Center won't be a destination for me. read more

The new Towne Centre is a huge improvement over the closed mall it replaces. With it, it brings a ton of new food options to Laurel and name-brand shops (though some are truly bizarre). Having the Regal movie theater is simply fantastic and the theater has held up well since its opening. The restaurant selection is decent as well-- from BJs Brewhouse to Blaze Pizza to Thai at Laurel. Parking is a bit of a hassle-- there are times that you have to drive around and search for some time. One more parking garage would be helpful. My issue with the area is that some of the shops being brought in simply don't belong. Why is there a Fusion Dental next to a line of restaurants? Why is the new space being occupied by AAA? The goal should be to create an entertainment complex where people can wine and dine and then watch movies afterwards. Spots like AAA and Fusion Dental really take away from that feel. Still, it's a huge improvement over any other shopping/dining area in Laurel. read more

So the moment walked in I was instantly greeted by a warm and friendly face. I came to get an oil change and tire rotation for 19.95 w/coupon. Nate Jones who works in the car center counter was very warm and friendly extremely professional. This is by far the best location I've been too. Coffee comfortable chairs and A/C. They also offer free lyft if you need to leave your car there. How Awesome!! So happy to have this location for Laurel!!! read more

I hung out the other week, and went down there to see a live band. I bought my chair with my mom and wife and sat down there in the street that was blocked off for the live band. I enjoyed the breeze of the wind blowing, but the band sucked. It was a waste of my time. The local stores in the shopping center did not even participate. No one came out to draw business to there stores. For me I could have caught a movie and had more fun. read more

I would give this new place zero stars if not for the movie theatre. In my opinion they blew it when they designed this mall with a poorly designed layout, parking and main entrance. Did I mention the rotundas? I would not recommend Laurel Centre to the sensible person. When I go shopping --- I want to enjoy my shopping experience and shop around and feel comfortable doing so. The Laurel Centre does not offer comfort. Also, if you do not want to waste your time--you will be be doing plenty of that because you must drive around endlessly trying to find a parking space which will probably be very far from your destination. I am thoroughly enjoying The Centre! It's bringing some old stores back new and improved....and some new stores. I'm also enjoying the new variety of restaurants. The movie theater is THE BOMB!! So happy I have one closer than Columbia and Arundel Mills! The seats are amazing and the food in the theater is pretty good too!!!!!! The Town Centre has done some cool family friendly events that my 3 year old and I have enjoyed as well! Keep that up!!! I was so excited to see this space being renovated, but the design and layout is flawed and even dangerous in places. The GOOD: New restaurants to choose from!!! A Massage envy... I like a massage. Harris Teeter is a nice addition. The Bad: Parking near the restaurants and stores is full before the stores open and it does not improve. The Garage is a decent walk from the restaurants and there is nothing to keep the weather off of you while walking. There is a cool little outdoor sitting area that appears to have a fireplace but I have never seen a fire in it. The Ugly: The landscaping has an abundance of what I am calling man-traps. These are 3 foot deep sheer sided pits with plants, rocks and more concrete in the bottom. The man-traps are literally everywhere that you would want to walk through to not have to walk to the very end of each parking row. So far I doubt anyone has been hurt but wait until the sports bar opens and a few drunks take headers in to the man traps. There will be some very happy lawyers on both sides. read more

The restaurants are different and great for this area. The retail does not match the restaurants at all. While the movie theater is ok for having reclining seats the food is the same boring movie food. Save your money and eat at one of the restaurants. The parking is horrendous!!!!! Wanted to go to blaze pizza on a Friday and parked behind the building next to a police car and two other cars infront of the management office only for security to come tell me I cannot park here. True it was not safe but really it is dark and you think I am going to park in the lot behind Harris Teeter and near the apartments? I would have a better chance taking the bus her to get closer. Clearly no one considered the parking in relation to the buildings people are entering? Why would most of the parking be behind the buildings????? This is why town centers do not work. read more

Myself and the wifey got two parties and the burgerfi burger the staff were polite which is a change for this area. Pinion engaged aren't small but were a little greasy. Burgers were just above par. We got our food quick and if you have a movie ticket receipt then you get a discount. read more

This is not something I typically would review, but the Towne Centre is absolutely awesome! The previous occupant of the space was Laurel Mall-a desolate, abandoned, unsafe building full of nothing but mall-walkers and a Great Cookie. The new space hosts many new businesses including an Old Navy, BJ's Brewhouse, Blaze Pizza, Party City, and a Panera with a drive thru. The parking issues that many other people are mentioning have abated since the center has been open longer than a few months now and the popularity is evening out. This deserves a much higher rating than it has :) read more

I'm so shocked at how low the ratings are for this new town center..!! There are so many great restaurants like Panera, Longhorn Steakhouse, Mission BBQ, etc. as well as some awesome retail stores. I guess when it comes to staff/service/people, I'm not sure how much it's affecting the quality of the town center renovation. In addition, I've been hearing from a handful of people about how nice the theater is! I used to live right nearby in Emerson with my family up until I graduated from college and I would've loved to hang out in the area. :( read more

Re-built so it's young at 1 year anniversary. I like the stores and restaurants but you know, it's like AA mall - parkiing is horrendous. Lots of patrons can leave the lot fully closed for others to come. If you built it big, people would come happy. read more

BOOM! Laurel has regained it's Places to Be with me! Yes, this new Centre has something for everyone and so many places to eat. This brings back memories of times long ago in Laurel. Location is nice, very clean! I like that they play music so its not so boring when you walk around! The variety stores are great!

Finally, more restaurants and movies in Laurel. It has been too long. Great parking. I really hope you have community events in Spring and Summer like Rockville Town Center. Regal theater in laurel is a Great place, good food the service wasn't that bad even though they are under staff. I'll say though that the language use by some ppl from the staff is not business appropriate and it makes guests feel uncomfortable. Also they should screen better the ppl that they let in, disrespectful, uneducated and make a great night out just stressful. There was a guy in the bathroom drunk and "politely asking " to use the toilet when someone else was in there. Overall a great place ! read more

I enjoy using Harris Teeter as a new option for grocery shopping, and sinfully great reclining seats at the theater. Still getting acclimated to the other businesses available, however from day 1 I detested the pitifully dark environment in the covered parking behind the theater. No visual security to deter the baddies, nearly zero lighting to help visibility, and seemingly situated like a last minute fix to increase original crappy parking plans. It's a sin to stick that poor excuse for a lot in what could be so much better to live up to what that thoroughly re-done shopping center was meant to be. Be aware of your surroundings as soon as you exit your car and when you step back into the lot when returning, and watch out for the low lighting limiting driver visibility as well. read more
