It's exactly what you were expect from a TownePlace suites in Sierra Vista. There was a decent gym and outdoor pool and an electronic pay laundry facility. The rooms are comfortable and spacious nicely, equipped for the kitchen. Breakfast is nice enough with a couple different items every morning for variety. Free parking in a good size parking lot. No complaints and I will stay here again during my next visit. read more

7/2025 Stayed here for 4 nights and had zero issues. Rooms are well appointed and the free breakfast was delicious and had numerous options. Martin was the most attentive and friendliest front desk attendant! The pool was clean and inviting. Martin also gave great recommendations for sightseeing and local restaurants. read more

Our house burned down and our home owners insurance has us board up here for two weeks. It offers all the basics for our needs. Unlike earlier reviews, I found the breakfast very filling. The biscuits and gravy was very tasty, but that was only served once in two weeks. Normally the breakfast is either scrambled eggs and sausage, or scrambled eggs and limp bacon. You can also have varied breads, yogurt, cereal, fruit and make-your-own waffles. Breakfast is served at 6:30am during the week, and 7am on weekends. The suite has two tvs, a queen sized bed, spacious bathroom and heat control. My husband can sleep in a warm bedroom while I can relax better in the living area without either of us bothering one another The hotel in very clean, inside and out. There is always staff wiping down or sweeping something. Service is also top notch. Strong, free wifi in the room, too. I lost it only once. Quiet sleeping. The hotel is near a busy road and the mall. read more

We were looking forward to staying at the Marriott hotel. We chose Marriott because we had our pet with us, which to us he is our family. We knew that on top of the $180 bedroom fee for one queen, we would have a $100 pet fee, and that was fine because our pet matters to us. We arrived at Sierra Vista, AZ, after a long drive. I called the hotel early in the morning to let them know we would check in past 10 pm, and the staff acknowledged stating they would put a note on the system. We are military, and we are used to traveling with our pet. When we arrived at the hotel, the room was smaller than the website advertised, and that was okay, but then we noticed candy, dog food, dust, dirty sucks, dead bugs, etc., under the bed and the couch. It is unacceptable to charge a $100 pet fee yet not meet cleaning expectations, especially when there was so much time to prepare the room. When I notified the front desk, they said they would talk to the cleaning staff, but we only stayed for one night, and talking to the staff made no difference to our stay. Disappointing stay that did not meet the "Marriott brand" expectations. read more

Stanley, the breakfast man took such good care of us, you'd think we were at a 5 star resort. Our family stayed and were in town for a family funeral. So, we were all trying to not be sad. Enter Stanley with breakfast. Some of us got there when he opened, bright eyed and bushy-tailed with everything ready early. We ate, we drank coffee and a core of us stayed until 9:00, with different family members coming at different times to eat. At any time, they came to eat, Stanley had more food set out as if it were the first thing in the morning, everything fresh. When the coffee got cold, Stanley made new coffee and refilled the urns as soon as someone inquired. He treated us as if we were his own family, which meant the world to us during this time of our joined mourning. when breakfast time was over, Stanley cleaned everything up all by himself. We put all the tables and chairs back where we found them so Stanley wasn't stuck moving the heavy tables all alone. He was attentive and professional. And, he made one of the hardest days of our lives so much lighter by feeding us and restocking the breakfast choices like a champion. We really appreciate him. Also, night/evening shift front desk man Martin was very kind, had our rooms ready early so we could check in on time and relax in quiet. He was lovely and had our carpets cleaned before we got there. He and maintenance staff even were thoughtful enough to put in a fan to dry the carpet before our arrival. Again, modest prices for a 5 star level of service. Thank you Townplace Suites Sierra Vista for helping us through our grief. Your kindness and thoughtfulness did not go unnoticed.The staff proved to be not just great employees, but showed themselves to also be outstanding human beings, You never know what another person is going through, and Martin and Stanley made a sad time a bit lighter with their excellent service and thoughtfulness. Top notch service! Best hotel in Sierra Vista! Everyone from the cleaning staff to the front desk to the managers were all polite and helpful. I needed to fax and email items during my stay and the front desk was very accommodating! I asked for assistance with a change in regular room cleaning time, everything from basket liners to toothbrush and toothpaste and fresh towels whenever needed! They were always right there with speedy service. This is what customer service is all about, very hard to find these days. I have been traveling many years during my career and I have rarely seen staff so accommodating! I will email their corporate office to express my gratitude during my stay. Time for pros and cons Some stuff to like some to hate It's not Embassy Pros: 2 bedrooms, 3 TV's, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, oven, stove, kitchen, sink, comfy beds Cons: the complimentary breakfast sucks (no protein), no complimentary happy hour like at Embassy Suites, feels like an Army barracks being next to the Fort, lots of long term residents, walking down the hallways you get a strange funky smell of many different cuisines combining that the long term residents are all cooking simultaneously. I will first say that I am a lifetime titanium member with a great deal of experience with all Marriott chains. I would like to commend the staff and management of this location, as I was extremely impressed with this property. The property was well kept and always clean. With a full kitchen, bathroom, living rooms and couches a studio suite, one bedroom suite or two bedroom suite are sure to satisfy any rooming requirement you may have. I've been a Marriott rewards member for years and unfortunately, had my worst stay at this particular hotel. Though the staff tried to be accommodating, the hotel was overbooked. I did not receive the room I originally reserved, the air conditioning was not working properly, lights went out, the room was not properly stocked, and my elderly family was forced to cram in a room suitable for half the guests for a week. Though I love the Marriott brand, I would not stay at this hotel again. read more

What's not to like? This is an all suites hotel. It is clean, well-maintained, and the staff always seem pleased to see you. The rooms are well-stocked. When I am on a business trip internet access is key. That's what did this place in. This wasn't just a one-time experience either. I stayed at this hotel for about 10 weeks, and the internet access was complete crap the whole time. You are limited to 2GB a day, and then have to call an 800 number to get it reset so they can chew you out for using "too much bandwidth." Screen sharing and video conferencing takes a lot of bandwidth, and thats what I need. It's also incredibly slow. I'm talking less than dial-up slow! On the rare occasion that I was able to conduct a video conference, my access speed would drop to 2KB (no kidding) a second as "punishment" for and using "too much bandwidth." Then I would have to call and get reset to a whopping 36KB! The staff was generally nice and the rooms are generally well cared for. The best thing about this hotel is the location, and the grill patio with a huge gas grill out front. The grill is open to any guest and is first-come first-serve, I used it pretty much every saturday. If it wasn't for the horrible 10 week experience of fighting to stay online, I would have given this place 3 stars. There is nothing special about this place to grant it 4 stars, it's just a standard extended stay hotel with the added benefit of a grill. read more

So disappointed. Made my reservations 2 months in advance for a 2 room suite. When I got here to check in I was told that they didn't have a 2 room available. The clerk told me that he had tried to call me, I have a cell phone I didn't have any missed calls or voice mails. I was told the only thing that they could offer me was a double bed with a pullout couch. What? What good does it do the make reservations? We ended up going to Fairfield Inn. read more
