We had the best sleep in this hotel. The staff here is super kind and friendly. Our room was really nice and clean. Our room had a little kitchenette. The kitchen had everything you need to cook and eat like dishes pots pans etc.., the air conditioner worked like a dream. The bathroom had a nice size closet. The free coffee was amazing. We didn't get a chance to try the free breakfast but we are staying here next time we pass through. Great job towneplace suites! read more

We chose Towneplace Suites because they were dog friendly. We saw many families with dogs so our dog had a wonderful time. The staff here loves dogs as they gave our little guy lot of attention. Rooms were clean and came with full kitchen (see picture). They had delicious free breakfast options every morning. Coffee was good too! We look forward to returning. Highly recommended! read more

They have an awesome team who are always super friendly & helpful.. Phenomenal service. Nick is the friendliest hotel staff I've ever met. He takes pride in giving the best hospitality and it shows. He was talking to every guest in the lobby and breakfast area, making sure everyone was okay and informing us of freshly cooked foods coming out. Such a happy dude. The breakfast options were great! Most elaborate oatmeal bar with every topping you can think of. The hotel is very clean. The room we stayed in was slightly outdated, but clean and good nonetheless. We stay here every time we visit las cruces. They allow pets and the place is super clean. Great staff from the front desk to the room cleaners. Good location, nice outdoor seating, lots of places in walking distance that can meet your needs as well. It's quiet and the free breakfast is always somehow better than other towneplace hotels we've been to. Lots of parking, safe area, and again, rooms are always clean and well supplied. Again, too, they take pets. You can meet some great folks staying there. The whole experience makes you feel at home and always among friends. That all said, they are updating rooms. It's becoming depressed business man meets ikea or happy European feeling welcome. The color, flair and comfy American style is disappearing here. But having a clean quiet place to relax and enjoy the bedtimey indoors part of your stay, it still works. Kids can enjoy the pool and spa, the adults can get a work out and do laundry, that's great too. There's much more to enjoy and you can certainly feel at home here. read more

WARNING: LONG REVIEW Overview: If you're looking for a hotel with clean rooms, that accommodates your room preferences, provides a quiet night's sleep with well lit parking and a staff that cares and will return your calls and emails then look elsewhere. Also, including this review, over the last 6 months this place is averaging less than 2 stars. FULL REVIEW: I stayed here for one night, paying with my Marriott points, in late November 2019, arriving at midnight. I checked in online earlier on the app and confirmed my room preferences. Upon arrival, I had to park in the back of the parking lot, which is not well lit. At the front desk, I stated my room preferences again, 1st floor, away from the elevator. I was told that wasn't possible and was provided a top floor room, right next to the elevator. After all day of driving, I got ready for bed only to discover numerous hairs in the bed. I understand it's possible that house keeping might drop a hair when making a bed but this made me question if the sheets had been changed. I ended up sleeping on top of the bedding. I should also mention there were bits of plastic on the floor throughout the room, like the previous guest had bought a bunch of new clothes and threw tags on the floor. Through out the night and early morning I could hear people talking, walking and loading up on to the elevator. At checkout the next morning, I mentioned the issues with the room to Shannon. She was apologetic and promised to reimburse me the points I used to book the room. Five days after checkout, the points had not posted to my account and I contacted Marriott's customer service. They assured me that someone from the hotel would reach out to me within the next five days. A few days later only a small partial refund was provided with zero communication. I called the hotel and was told the manager, Ana, was unavailable so I requested her email. I sent her an email inquiring into the points but a week later still no response. As a result I called Marriott customer service again, they too could not reach the manager. Again, assured by customer service that someone from the hotel would reach out to me by today, Dec. 9th, still nothing. I even called the hotel again today and no one answered after a minute of ringing. Another call to customer service remedied the situation but no thanks to Ana and her staff here. There are numerous hotels in the area, book any other one but this one is my suggestion. read more

Close to I-25, not far from I-10. Very courteous staff. Close to stores. Plenty of parking. Rooms were bright and clean. Would stay again.

Newly remodeled, this was an awesome place to hole up for awhile. We were lucky enough to qualify for the government rate: $91/night for King-sized bed $10/night for pet fee The suite was very clean & spacious. Everything had a new feel/smell to it. The walls were well insulated so that we couldn't hear our neighbors much. My husband, our dogs & I felt very much at home. There was even a DVD player. We found a Redbox at a nearby Walgreens (3miles away) & made good use of that. So if you are looking for a home away from home, look no further. TownPlace Suites is it! read more

This is another Marriott Hotel that needs updated. We have stayed in several Marriott hotels that have let standard maintenance slide. I should not be responsible to tell the hotel that the light bulb in the bath is out, the tub/shower does not drain. The cabinets are completely scratched and worn. It is way past time. The front lobby leaves an impression that (if they didn't make you pay in advance) you should leave immediately. I was more than ready to leave. Unfortunately, I had not cancelled two days prior so..... Suffice to say it is a one of. We will not stay here again. Owners should realize their profit. I have no problem with that but after 10 years they should also renovate. This place is in dire need of attention. read more

This hotel has great reviews and to be honest, I don't understand why. We arrived at this hotel during a cross-country road trip and the hotel was clean and had an awesome young gentleman working the front desk who did his best to be helpful. That's where the good ends. First of all, the quoted price was absolutely ludicrous. The young gentleman quoted us a price of 165 for the night. When I balked at that price, the gentleman said the hotel next door might have a better price (owned by the same parent company). He called them but it was a $5 difference. I complained about the price and the gentleman offered to take it down 20 bucks to 145 but he said he wasn't really supposed to do that. Still unsatisfied with the highway robbery price, but tired, I sucked it up and booked the room. When I got to the room it was crammed with furniture. Way too much furniture for the size of the room and this made it feel cramped. The bed was uncomfortable and felt like it was sinking when laid on. The day after they asked for my opinion on my stay on their website. You got it, buddy. I wrote a review explaining all this and a "manager" of the hotel replied to my comment asking to call me to talk about my experience. I gave her my contact info and said I would be happy to speak with her. I never received any call or correspondence since. This hotel looks nice from the outside and doesn't throw up any red flags right away but I assure you that it's worth finding a reasonably priced, comfortable hotel because this, most assuredly, is not it. read more

We travel between San Antonio and Southern California frequently and this is always our midway stop. Consistently clean, friendly, and always a great rate! The breakfast spread is great, we usually leave at 3am for the 2nd day of driving but we have had it and it has been fresh and has lots of options. They have free WiFi and Netflix/Hulu/YouTube integrated on their TVs. Super helpful for little kids after being in "car prison" all day. Full kitchen too! Truly a home away from home. Oh and plenty of parking! Never an issue for big trucks or trailers! read more

We stopped here as part of our route moving back to the west coast and really just needed a place to rest and eat breakfast. It's nothing fancy but met our needs. The location is right off the freeway so its really convenient and the parking lot was large and easy to navigate with our moving truck. The breakfast the next morning was really good too! I also appreciated that the pet fee was only $10 whereas other places along our route were $100+. read more

I traveled for four months this summer for work. I took my 60 lb German Shepherd with me. I stayed in this hotel for a total of 3 weeks. I was very impressed by the cleanliness, dog friendly atmosphere but MOST importantly the courteous, kind, friendly and professional staff. I almost didn't stay here because of the reviews. I'm not very picky when it comes to hotels and this place had all I needed. Spacious rooms, free hot breakfast, friendly staff, great price and CLEAN. Some extras included a clean pool, a large two bedroom suite which was perfect for my family of 6, and very close to grocery stores, shopping and restaurants and not to far from the highway so we could get back to our road trip easily. They even held the breakfast open 20 minutes later for my family and something else I loved? checkout was at noon!!! Great for us since we were driving from CA to TX and needed the extra sleep. I am a Gold member with Marriott and prefer to stay at the TownPlace Suites. I like the full kitchens and the beds. This place wasn't very impressive though. The room I had was small and didn't have everything in it (bathroom) when I arrived. I used some of my rewards points for the stay so maybe I was given a lower rate room. It wasn't a horrible stay but it wasn't one of the better TPS either. Overall, just "ok". read more

These beds are some of the best that I've encountered! We got a great nights sleep on our 1500 mile journey. Everything was clean and in working order. The rooms were on the smaller side but we had enough room to maneuver. They allow pets and they have one of the cheaper pet fees for a Marriott hotel. The breakfast isn't a hot one, cereal and bagels. I wished they had offered a little more. The staff was fantastic and we will be staying here again. read more

We stay at lots of Marriotts when we travel. This is the first time I have ever ran into a front desk receptionist with such a bad attitude. Evidently they do have complementary water, but never mentioned it. We grabbed a few from the fridge one night because no one was at the desk. They later told us that we would be charged for the water.. at the end of the stay we asked for a 2pm check out (this is common and available for my status of Lifetime Titanium) she blatantly lied to us and said we had to leave by noon because they were booked.--they were in fact not booked (we checked). She was very foul to us the whole time and made it seem as if we were an inconvenience to her. I believe her name was Renae... This wasn't a bad hotel but if your used to Marriott, these rooms are smaller. The hot tub was just warm water, no blowers or jets to truly relax. The breakfast is not a hot breakfast, only cereal, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, bagels, and juice. The staff was very friendly though and it was clean. read more

Hotel is not next to busy streets. It's tucked away in a corner where there is a great walk path to the east of the hotel to walk your dog. Not the worst place I have ever stayed at. I stay in Cruces a lot for business and this is always my third choice behind the Holiday Inn Express and the StayBridge. I try not to let the points dictate my choice. The halls as well as the elevator really need a facelift. The carpeting it Brady Bunch style and looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. The halls are dimly lit are painted a boring shade of ugly. Please brighten it up!! The bed is comfortable if you like a soft mattress. I prefer a more firm bed, but I really have no complaints. The hot water in shower was nice, and great water pressure too. The kitchen is a perfect size for a single person. Nice TV with great selection of 8 HBO Channels! There was always something to watch. My biggest complaint, though, is the almost nonexistent personnel at the front desk. All other hotels I stay at have someone at the front desk to greet you as you enter or leave the lobby, which is nice. The front desk at this place always seems to be abandoned. The employee can always be found sitting at the desk in the adjacent office, probably updating their Facebook. The breakfast is well rounded and adequate, but the coffee is weak. read more

We stay at this hotel once a year while visiting White Sands National Park. This hotel is extremely clean; one of the cleanest rooms we've ever stayed in. The staff is helpful and very friendly. We were even upgraded to a suite for free, just because the management appreciated our business! The breakfast spread is not huge, but it is in a spacious and clean room, with hot waffles and really good breakfast biscuits. Stay here if you are in the area, you will be happy you did. read more

I stayed here a few days ago. The reception staff are ok but can really be trained a little more on customer service. If you need things done or resolved just go directly to the manager Ana. She is amazing, fast and considerate when making this right. The housekeepers are also great. Always going above and beyond that to make your stay pleasant. I would give this five stars but the breakfast is mediocre and not too much to choose from. Don't expect warm eggs or sausage. read more
