A few weeks after I spread the mulch on my garden a healthy crop of oat grass sprouted where I had spread the mulch. I called the store about the problem and the store representative blamed the problem on me, saying that I did not apply the product correctly. That is untrue. More importantly, the store representative refused to allow me to return the second unopened bale because I had not kept the receipt for the product. Very disappointing customer service from a store that sold a clearly defective product and refused to take any responsibility for doing so. Customers beware.

However with their recent corporate change closing done all DE&I and LGBTQ type of support, I needed a new feed store. As I will no longer shop at Tractor Supply. So I tried Feeds 'n Needs! Great place, super friendly folks, helped me get the right chicken feed for the current situation of my hens. I knew when I parked as I saw a few chickens walking around outside that I had found the right place! From the ease of the booking process to the day-of execution, the entire process was 10 stars. Hannah and her team went above and beyond (which I now understand is their standard MO.) They effortlessly managed all of our decor, seemlessly and joyfully wrangled 12+ children (and twice as many extremely excited adults.) The experience was educational and extremely interactive (We decorated mini horses! We held/pet so many incredible animals! The kids rode unicorns!) Even the coloring pages had our daughter's name printed on them. There was not one aspect of the day that felt like an after thought. The attention to detail and the care they show is so amazing. I really can't thank Hannah and her crew enough for hosting (far and away) the best birthday party my daughter has ever had. Core memories were made by all of us.

I called, looking for a specific Purina dry dog food, and he didn't have it, but special ordered it for me - it was in in a matter of just a few days. I expected it to be more expensive than the big box pet stores in Concord. I was pleasantly surprised that he beat their price for an 18 pound bag by a couple of bucks. He explained that he tries his best to give customers a better price than most places charge, so he cuts into his profit a bit too do it! You don't find many business owners doing that these days! I'll be buying all my dog food there from now on! Worth going out of your way to get this kind of service!
