Champion Kennels is a complete facility. I have had many dogs in classes there. These classes are…read moregreat. The teach the dogs and the people how to do the task. You can get help to fix bad behavior that the dog does at home. I started doing competition obedience training 2 years ago after just 6 months of training I was able to get my dog a CD title in just three tests. It's a no nonsense training. The instructor understands dog behavior which makes it easier to understand why your dog does things. In addition to great training the have top quality food. Great safe toys. And good training. I have never boarded my dog but the kennels are always clean. Go to champion kennels for all you needs

Since then we have enrolled in several classes because we love it so much! We have gained so much knowledge and support in each of these classes that is priceless as a first time dog owner. Champion is also the only place I feel comfortable boarding my dog. The level of care and love that they show to my boy is unmatched. Each time we pull into the parking lot his tail is wagging a mile a minute because he is so excited! The pricing for both day and night boarding is incredibly reasonable especially with how well taken care of I know he is. We owe so much to Champion Kennels and can not say enough positive things about them!

We went back to Missy because our first experience was excellent. That's the only reason we trusted…read moreher again. This time completely broke that trust. The transport situation was unacceptable. We were explicitly told our puppy would be traveling alone. That was not the case. There were multiple dogs in the car (the transporters personal dogs).... The vehicle clearly had been smoked in--strong enough that there was no ambiguity. There was a cup filled to the top with 10+ smoked cigarette butts in it. Disgusting that she took ZERO responsibility . You're transporting a 12-week-old puppy for hours in that environment. That's a basic failure in judgment. But what made it far worse was the response. Instead of taking responsibility, we got denial and deflection. And then, rather than addressing the situation, we were told she would: "personally drive from Ohio to NYC" to take the puppy back and issue a refund. Missy's Text Below: "Jessica & Ian, I want to bring the focus back to Romeo. Based on everything you've shared, he's eating, active, and not showing any symptoms, which is exactly what we want to see in a healthy puppy. I think at this point we may be focusing more on the situation than on how he's actually doing. Since Romeo is doing well, there isn't anything indicating a medical concern. Since you're feeling uncertain, I'm happy to personally come pick him up and provide a full refund. I think this is the best path forward for everyone. Missy" Let's be clear--that's not a solution. That's not accountability. That's essentially a threat to take back a dog we had already paid for and taken possession of. It felt completely inappropriate and, frankly, a borderline attempt to steal and defraud. That response alone tells you everything you need to know about this persons character, moral complex and values. At this level, there should be real oversight--who is transporting the dogs, the condition of the vehicle, whether instructions are being followed. None of that seemed to be in place here. The puppy is okay--we had him checked by a vet and thankfully there are no issues. But that doesn't excuse what happened or how it was handled. Bottom line: this felt careless, and the way it was handled afterward was worse. Very disappointing, especially given how strong our first experience was. She threatened my family to "drive to our house" and take the puppy back. If there is any further contact handled in this same manner, we will escalate this through the appropriate formal channels. I will say one thing. I just bought an $800 puppy. Came home, the pup was sick with the not only…read moreKennel Cough but Geardia as well, vet bill of 150. I honestly find that very discouraging actually. You pay for a healty puppy, expect it to be healthy when you bring it home...ESPECIALLY if you pay close to $1000 for the pup. Honestly, they should put the pups to go health and then sell them, healthy! I love my puppy, I would NEVER think of giving him back. I just would NEVER recommend a pet store such as this to anyone else. I learned from my mistakes and I will also help others learn as well. I should have read up and read the reviews as I usually do with anything else...But, I didnt, my fault. I think for future issues though, since there are so many sick dogs that come out of there...there should be something done...At least nurse the puppys back to health before they sell them. Seriously. Stop being so money hungry and hurry to get the sale complete to put that cash in your pocket...help the little pupps out to feel better even while they are still there...they say they quarentine the pups when they first come in? I am pretty sure that is false or this wouldnt be an epidemic with each pup. Just wanted to give my opinion on this shop. The woman is extremly nice and helpful to a point just wish she didnt sell me a sick dog...or would have advised me of the sickness first and foremost so I at least knew what I was getting into and that I would be spending a lot more directly after the purchase of the pup, not only for the fun toys, great food, perfect leash and collar, cumfy bed, safe crate and great treats but I now had to pay for a huge vet bill that should have been taken care of by the store...Period. Update : the dog also has an enlarged heart and E.I.C. (exercise induced collapse) do some research on this and you'll see it is completely detectable from an early age. screw this place!! I think they are out of business now.
