We chose Goddard after trying others and found that it, and owner Sheeba Mathew have no equal. Ms. Sheeba knows the name of every child, every parent, every sibling, and in some cases even the grandparents of every child who is currently or has ever been a member of the Goddard family. Beyond keeping our children safe and comfortable, Ms. Sheeba and her incredible staff of administrators and teachers provide a wonderful foundation for kids to learn and grow. There is very little teacher turnover, which is great because it gives stability at an age where kids tend to really need it. When you see your kids eyes light up as they run into the classroom and hug their teachers, you just know you've made the right call. The education provided at Goddard is also outstanding. My 5 year old son has learned not just reading and numbers but science and history. He's learned about the world that surrounds him goes well beyond his Maryland zip code. I've watched him thrive in this beautiful, amazing environment. It's been incredible. This week we say goodbye to the school we love. Next week he will start kindergarten. His years at Goddard have prepared him for this, and I am beyond grateful. He is ready to achieve great things. Though both his heart and mine break at the thought of leaving, we know that we will remain part of that special community Ms. Sheeba has created and we remain eternally thankful for it. The program they teach is great for boys and girls of all skill levels and ages. Being a former collegiate basketball player myself, I wish this program was around as grew up. I called him, got his voicemail but did not leave a message but several hours later he called me back. I told him about the situation and he understood and was willing to help us solve the problem. He was so very kind and cordial and I was impressed with the ease with which he communicated. It was a great experience and I thank him for being so helpful.

We've come here many times that should have been considered jam packed, but although it's sometimes busy, it's never THAT packed. The real bonus here (especially for somebody who's skin color is somewhere between gingery and clear) is that although it's an outdoor pool, there is a ton of shade! That's a big deal since I usually get burned at the mere mention of sunlight. Take the kids and have a great time. The location is great for me. Check the map. Maybe it's great for you too.

I wish I had more grandchildren to enjoy Miss Angela's parties. The happy photos on the website tell the stories. These parties are not just for little girls. Boys like the cowboy fantasies as much, if not more, than girls like the princess thing. Angela and her talented helpers have done some durn good painting on the budding cowboys. My grandson doesn't like having his face painted so she gives him arm "tattoos" instead. Her creativity is amazing. Miss Angela is not only a professional party provider but also an experienced horse person. Her stringent safety rules are for the protection of your children and their friends. Everyone wants to have fun. SAFETY is a priority. These parties are not the kind where you drop off your child and go shopping. There are large animals at these parties, not plushy toys. A parent must be present and in charge of her/his child at all times. I would not hesitate to recommend Peppermint Pony Parties and have wondered who had more fun, me or my grandson!

I reached out to Grand Master Park to learn more about hapkido. Grand Master Park met with me and answered all of my questions and then showed me various moves/maneuvers. This is exactly what I was looking for in a martial art! Also, the cost was incredibly reasonable considering the years of expertise and experience of the Grand Master.
