That nervousness disappeared instantly thanks to the warm welcome I received at the front desk. As someone who's a bit older, I wondered if I'd feel out of place--but age has never been a factor here. The environment is inclusive, supportive, and empowering. I've taken classes with every instructor, and not once have I had a bad experience. Each one brings their own unique energy, style, and creativity to class. The choreography is consistently fun and challenging, and the music always hits. No two classes are the same, which keeps things exciting and fresh. Every time I leave class, I feel stronger, more confident, and completely empowered. I'm not the same person I was when I first walked in over two years ago. I'm completely obsessed with pole now, and I owe it all to Xpose for helping me discover that passion--and for giving me the space to grow into the person I am today.

I understand that and I wore my mask pretty much the whole work out. But towards the last few sets I took it off in-between sets, since it got to the point of me finding it very hard to breath. I loved this gym and have also listen to the rules. I never let anyone in, I cleaned up after myself, I even put weights away that others did not and the same with wiping down benches that weren't. I was at a really low point in my life and this gym helped me build my self esteem back up. But the owner is just out right rude and unprofessional. Of course it was my luck that he saw me without my mask on and never caught anyone else, when almost everyone had it below their nose. He came in and in a rude and disrespectful way told me give me your key and leave. So I gave him my key and left. Apparently after I left he was cussing me and my friend out about it and was yelling. That is no way to treat your customers. I was training in fear towards this point being scared he would kick me out and give me no warnings for the smallest mess up. I've seen him border line yelling at two teenagers because one forgot his key fob so his friend let him in. The owner didn't even ask about the situation and said give me your key. The staff there are really amazing and nice people, its just the owner. You don't yell at teenagers and cus your customers out, didn't even give us a warning. He did not even tell us why he just said give me your key and get out. If the owner is replying to this, you should change your habits. You are scaring people away from this gym because of your non professional and anger issues. As a owner you do not cus out your customers, who are teenagers too, and young. I've given over 75$ worth of guest passes to them, convinced friends to join and now I don't get a single warning and he cusses me out. Avoid this gym. One small mess up, not even if you meant too, you will get kicked out. Every person with common sense will know not to cus at their customers and be out right rude and disrespectful.

Although I've been to the Catonsville Y before, I was mostly swimming at the time to prepare for…read moretriathlon. Now, I'm preparing for Hyrox so I see the gym with a different perspective. I like that they have a ski erg machine that's comparable to that used at the event. My favorite Y is the Weinberg location, and that one is different. They also have a rope, which is useful for training the shoulders/arms. It's just in an awkward place. When the roped is pulled out to full lenght for use I felt like I was in the way. I tried two different angles and both were the same. Oh well. Sorry, not sorry. It's a big Y! They've got several sections of weights, machines, cycling rooms and the..... I guess I'll call it, Crossfit room (which is small and a bit awkward, but it works). They have weighted bags for the lunges up to 40lbs. They also have plenty of (matching) kettlebells. AND, they have weighted balls for the ball toss. The only thing missing is the sled. You can go to the Weinberg Y for that. I like this Y as well. There's plenty of room, which is good because it's much more crowded (even mid-day) than my other Y's. I was also glad to see the staff cleaning the weight rack. I mean, not just wiping it down. They removed the weights, wiped down the rack where the weights were sitting, and place the weights back. They were also removing the scuffs from the wall with the magic eraser. No wonder it looks so clean. And of course I can always count on the fireplace to chill at after my workout. Come check it out.

On a BCPS delayed start day, the facility did not clearly communicate any adjusted Stay and Play hours. The posted signage did not reflect the delayed schedule, and while staff observed me arriving with my child, this information was not proactively shared. I only learned of the adjusted hours after specifically asking. Clear and visible communication--especially on delayed start days--would help prevent confusion for families and improve the overall member experience. I appreciate your attention to this matter and hope it can be considered for future operations.

Titan has a lot to offer: a very nice facility with all the required torture equipment, top-notch coaches, thoughtful programming, and awesome people. If you want to take your training up a notch; try the excellent Oly classes (separate Oly room!) and/or see if you qualify for joining the competitor training group. Also, having judged and competed at many CF boxes in the Baltimore-DC area, Titan CF puts on some killer competitions. If you are new in town or just visiting, you must check out this box! I know I will go back next time I am in town.

This Y has great workout equipments. Some of their machines are pretty modern. I was surprised by how clean and well maintained this Y was. Bikes were amazing. You can go on a nice virtual ride. The handles turn giving you a real feel of riding the bike. One of the best bikes I have seen in the gym. They lose a star for their outdated locker room. Small showers and the access to the sauna is pretty far outside the shower near the swimming pool. They don't provide towels. Luckily my husband had an extra towel in his gym bag.

To get a swim in can sometimes be a gamble because you never know if you're going to get a lane or if the pool is going to be closed. So I REALLY appreciate the notifications the Orokawa Y gives via the mobile app!! They Y gives the most up to date/clear/pertinent notifications & updates, via app. Trust me on this! They also seem to have less problems with life guard manpower. And the pool is nice! The sauna is a bonus. As for the rest of the club, I agree with another comment that it can be overwhelming when you pull up to a full parking lot. But the club never seems crowded. I love the fireplace and seating surrounding it. You can relax for a minute to exhale before or after your workout. There's plenty of equipment. I previously had a personal training business so I can tell you, you'll have more than everything you need. There are also several breakout rooms if you're looking for a bit of privacy. The staff all seem pleasant, but I haven't found the need to deal with them often. This is a great club.

Very clean in each space we entered ... bathrooms well stocked and cleaned ... lots of security everywhere who don't play ..... consistent cleaners seen throughout. Plentiful on parking as well.... The building brought back so many memories when my kids were much younger. I always enjoyed the facilities indoor/outdoor pools, basketball courts, track, fitness center and workout classes. This place is safe secure with security guards onsite and cameras. I love the added self service food /snack area. This facility is definitely top tier. My only con is while the front staff can be very helpful they are not always up to date with all of the activities and or contact personnel. I wanted to book swimming classes for my younger daughter however, I felt the website to not be user friendly so when I approached the front desk after I explained to them that I was having some challenges with the website they sent me back to checking the website. This is still my favorite of all the Maryland Y's. I'll confess that I've been away for a while…read more Gyms are always crowded in January, so I just stay away. But I'm back, and they have new equipment! Yay! I didn't feel like anything was wrong (except for the SkiErg that keeps breaking. I wish they'd get a Concept2 version), but I came back to True equipment. Now there are two seated row machines and two lat pull-downs. The dip machine is a standalone machine by itself. They also added a glute builder machine. It's not a version I've used before, but it'll do. Lastly, I always finish with time in the sauna. It's always nice & hot.
