I have been to the Toyota Field for 3 different events: Coca-Cola Classic Christmas in Dec 2024, the Candlelight Drone Art Show in Jan 2026, and most recently the Harry Potter Drone Art Show yesterday in May 2026 :) ! For all 3 special events, me, my sister and a friend have had wonderful, fun and memorable experiences :D ! The parking is very well-organized :) ! The parking attendees are excellent in directing traffic, which is not easy at all! I personally think they do a much better job directing and streamlining traffic, compared to other venues like Dodgers Stadium in Los Angeles and the Verizon Amphitheater in Irvine, CA! Even when the traffic and parking can get busy, at least I don't feel like it's an absolute madhouse or zoo, like at most other venues! Security check-in is pretty smooth :) ! Toyota Field is getting stricter though. If you want to bring in a bottle of water, the top where you typically twist open the cap has to be completely sealed and unbroken. This is still somewhat better than the Frost Bank Center, which doesn't even allow you to bring in any sealed water bottles at all. Toyota Field generally does not allow outside beverages or food. Their food for the most part seems to be reasonably priced. But they are the typical confessions items, like hot dogs, soda and beer. Although, if you didn't bring any sealed bottled water with you, they do have bottled water available for purchase, to keep yourselves well-hydrated! There are also refreshing fruit cups and shaved ice for purchase as well :) ! My sister, my friend and I usually eat before we get to Toyota Field. So we haven't really tried their food or drinks. For Coca-Cola Classic Christmas in Dec 2024, there were a lot of great vendors and booths, a lot of great photo opportunities, as well as a great skating rink and slides :) ! If I remember correctly, I think the skating rink and the slides cost extra, in addition to general admission, if you wanted to try either of those. My sister and I loved this :D ! And it just so happened that this was San Antonio's very first Classic Christmas event :D ! The Candlelight Drone Art Show earlier this year in Jan 2026 was really beautiful and mesmerizing :D ! And I have to admit that, out of all the Candlelight events by Fever, this was the first Candlelight Drone Art Show that my friend and I had ever attended :D ! It was just really chilly and cold because it was held around the time of the freeze! It would have probably been more optimal and ideal if this was held during the warmer months, such as later in the spring or fall season :) ! Because my friend and I chose VIP seats on the lawn, we received complimentary Fever cloth lawn spreads, bottled water and snacks :) ! The Harry Potter Drone Art Show yesterday was spectacular and brought back such wonderful and nostalgic memories of the beloved books and movies :) ! Just like a lot of the other events, this one was also very well-organized. My sister and I got lawn seats. We brought our own picnic blankets so we could spread these out to watch the show. The weather was perfect because it wasn't too hot or too cold. And amazingly, towards the end of the night, there was even a slight breeze :) ! We will definitely come back :D ! And in addition to these special events, we certainly would love to catch some awesome sports events here as well :D ! read more

I truly enjoy the professional soccer venue for San Antonio. It's a clean and very spacious location. The home side is covered and the uncovered side provide ample views to any event on the field. I've been here for more than a handful of games to watch the Scorpions, SAFC, and other visiting sides that want to show off for the SA soccer fans The concessions provide face to face and online ordering of hot dogs, nachos, pretzels, and an assortment of candies, soda and beer. Also on-hand are a margarita truck from La Gloria, nachos and burgers from visiting concessions like Burgerteca, and the fruteria. I like the last one best because I can get a range of items from a limonada or sandia agua frescas, a raspa, chile and chamoy'd up fruits or vegetables... they can even get you a mangonada. The fan clubs keep things entertaining and chanting. The game on the field is nowhere near 1st level, but the fans around you don't care. We are all pretty loyal to the team. Some games are followed up with fireworks. It's a good time for adults or the entire family. Most games are at night after the heat starts to break. Parking to the stadium events is free and within walking distance to the stadium. Let's go, SAFC! read more

I don't have a real ota, but I do have a toy ota. If you're wondering how you feel about that, how do you think the toy ota field? This is where San Antonio FC play soccer, and it's a lovely little soccer stadium, but it also has a bunch of other sports happening here. Only 8,000 people can fit in here, but the benefit of that is that they often fill it up. So it's a great place and well worth coming to see a game, and if they could expand it and start filling it at say 15000 capacity, I would upgrade it to a five star rating, cuz it does need more people in here to make the atmosphere even louder and end up being an MLS Stadium, which I would love, since San Antonio deserves to be part of the great 3-city rivalry that MLS will now have in Texas. read more

The Toyota Field is a five-star worthy stadium! I first visited the Toyota Fiel a few days ago to pick-up my San Antonio FC tickets and I was very surprised to see how easy was to get in and out of it (in comparison to other stadiums of course). The day of the game, I decided to get an Uber because #1, I was going to drink ($1 beer night y'all!) and #2, I didn't want to deal with parking. Once I got there, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the big parking lot across the Toyota Field was FREE for all attendees and there was an officer at the light helping with traffic, which made things super easy for everyone. My Uber dropped me off at the South East entrance of The Toyota Field. I had a bag so I had to go through their regular entrance, but they have a special entrance for folks with no bags which is located on the right side of the box office. I noticed is kind of hidden and people weren't really using it. The Toyota Field is very nicely done and I like the design and flow of it. The bathrooms are kept super clean and they are very easy to find. There are multiple concession all over the stadium, and they also have a variety of draft beers in their south east area. I definitely recommend everyone to come and watch one of San Antonio FC games. read more

La Gloria concession stand has horrible service. Ordered food and never received it. People were waiting over 30 mins for food and drinks. Asked for my money back and mentioned they are unable to give back at stand. They close down at the 65min mark, no food no money back. LoL, never again eat at the game. If you're looking for something new to do with the family, I definitely recommend checking out one of the SAFC games. We've been going to most home games to watch the SAFC soccer matches and we normally eat before we get there. This time we ran out of time to go eat dinner so we took a chance with the concessions. There is a frutería stand with fresh cut fruit, Mexican duritos, and mangonadas and it was all great. There is a stand right next to it that serves beer as well as barbacoa nachos and wow! This was the highlight of our dining experience. I like the options for basic hot dogs, nachos, sodas, and beer that this stadium offers, which they also have specials on beers and hot dogs depending on what games you attend. Also, if you're a fan of La Gloria restaurants, they run a stand on the second floor but, be prepared for long lines before the games start. There is plenty of parking around the stadium and across the road, lots of bathrooms, and good security screening so we've felt pretty safe with our kids in audience. I am new to San Antonio so I am always looking for ways to learn more about the city, its culture and as an avid sports fan, this was just a win-win situation! Couldn't have asked for a better first professional soccer game experience, especially with the cooler weather right after the rain. Even better, S.A.F.C got the W against Frenso. Toyota Field is a nice, clean, comfortable and easy to navigate venue. I also liked that the stadium had a nice skyline view. Parking was easy and free!!! Additionally, snack prices are super reasonable. I got a pretzel and Coke for $5, so I was able to enjoy myself and not feel like I was breaking the bank. There are many concession areas on each level of the stadium and the lines moved very quickly, so I did not miss any of the second half. There are also TV's near the stands to keep up with half-time show antics. I didn't have a chance to check out the restrooms, so nothing to report there. I won two tickets to a Scorpions game so I came with a friend to watch SA Scorpions vs Carolina Railhawks this past weekend. I am so glad I came b/c I didn't know soccer was this big in SA. In fact, I didn't even know SA had a soccer team! Don't throw eggs at me. There were a lot more people that night at the game than I expected. So the atmosphere was pretty great. Our seats were the best in the house, we could literally have a conservation with the soccer players. The stadium looked very new and attractive, the facility is top notch. After my first soccer game, this is a fun venue for soccer and potentially other events. We were seated 11 rows up just right of one of the goals. There's not a bad seat in the house. I'd gladly sit anywhere in the stadium. We came on dollar beer night, which was a nice surprise, but even at regular prices they don't price gouge like other sports venues in town. What's keeping this from 5 stars? Free parking is a bit of a trek, across the street in NEISD's Heroes Stadium. Also, our section 114 required us to enter at the opposite end of the stadium and go upstairs, seemed like a really odd setup. This was my first soccer game I've attended at Toyota Field. The location was very convenient to find and I seeing all the fans as we walked to the field. There is a main entrance where you walk through a medal detector and have a purse check. It was very easy to find our seats as well as there were plenty of friendly employees asking if we needed help. Overall it was such a fun experience. I drove from Austin to come and check out San Antonio FC since I've been craving see a live soccer match. All the soccer matches I watch are on TV. In additon, I'm bummed we don't have the Austin Aztex not playing. It's definitely worth checking out. It's a smaller version of the soccer stadiums I've attended. An average game, the place is 3/4 full. So there's a definite interest in soccer in San Antonio. There's free parking next to the stadium. My only complaint is the concession prices. I had to pay $4 for water. Ouch! The seating gives a great view of the pitch. I'm looking forward to going to a game. The stadium is off IH-35 which gives easy access to and from the stadium. read more

We heard the Scorpions got a new stadium, so when we were in town we made sure to catch the visiting Atlanta Silverbacks. There is $10 parking if you park around the north side of the stadium, and looks like a lot of supporters also tailgate here. If you come in from the north side of the stadium, there is an area where vendors set up carts to sell food, sponsors set up stalls to give out free prizes, and a DJ plays music. A great place to take your kids if you get there early. Oddly, the attendants didn't have scanners for our tickets, and simply tore off the barcode. Maybe it was just because this was the second game at the stadium, and they didn't have enough handheld scanners, but this needs to be addressed before scalpers figure out this work around. Also, we didn't get programs until we walked around to other entrances. (We love game programs, so that was annoying.) Overall, the stadium is a great 8,000 seat venue that is clearly optimistic about expansion in the future (as evidenced by the free standing I-beams around the stadium. The west side of the stadium has different colored seats that make a picture of the Scorpions logo (pretty cool). The west side has a shade cover and nice leather seats that are embroidered with the Scorpions' logo-pretty sweet. One minus/indication of a stadium on a budget is the lack of cup holders, even in the VIP seat area. A minor inconvenience, but a cost saving measure that enables the team to afford the stadium. The concourses are wide, and so if your hands are full of stuff, the risk of getting knocked around is low. The concessions serve up the standard hot dog/hamburger/nachos/pretzel/popcorn fare. If you go early, try to stand around the south side of the stadium to watch the teams warm up. (Not really supposed to loiter there.) You get pretty close, but are safe from errant shots thanks to some field-goal netting. As you walk up the south ramp, there's a team store, where you can get various Scorpions swag like jerseys and scarves. Since we had VIP tickets, we got to go to the upper deck where there's a patio (with a TV), a bar, and access to suites. The stand alone bar girls are cash only, but if you walk around the corner to the bar, they take credit card. The bar area is pretty nice, with tvs showing highlights. It would have been a bit nicer if they added a few more pieces of Scorpion memorabilia, instead of the 6 kinds of liquor they serve. The bar has a nice selection of draft and bottled beer, as well as the aforementioned liquor. You can also watch the traffic come in from the upper patio area. Any drinks purchased in the upper deck have to remain up there. After we had a couple beers on the upper patio and a quick restroom stop, we headed down to our seats in section 103. (The bathrooms are pretty basic, but clean and air-conditioned!) We had a great view of all the game and the seats had a lot of leg room, while be at a good pitch to see the match. Before the game, they have someone (not sure of her title) named Vanessa to introduce all the traditions they're trying to implement in the stadium (bang on the aluminum stands during corners, sing along, chants, yell out player's last names during introductions). I think that's really great for a young team to try and introduce to create a fun atmosphere. The supporters groups sit in the lower seats on the north side of the stadium, and I counted 2, maybe 3 supporters groups. I thought it was odd that they didn't sit together, but rather anchored the north corners. It seemed like they were fighting with each other for attention. I think the front office needs to work with both groups to bring them together to create a better atmosphere. I did like how they did have a supporter out front to serve as the "drum major." He was pretty good at leading the group in songs and chants. I forget which minute they started playing the "Dale, dale, San Anton" (not a typo) song, but it was entirely too loud and jarring. Because we had a long drive back, we left in the 80', back through that north entrance party plaza. At first we thought the exit was blocked, till we asked an attendant, to which she said, "Yes, but you CAN'T come back in." Uhh...are you ever allowed to come back in if you leave? Odd. Out of the parking lot, there's only one way back to the freeway, so we could see potential traffic issues here. The potential for a huge backlog of cars is pretty probable, unless traffic officers take charge. Overall, a great place to catch some soccer, but they have a few minor kinks to work out. Tickets were affordable, so hopefully the Scorpions manage a few sellouts soon! read more

This a such a fun place to sit, relax, and watch some local professional soccer in a good looking intimate stadium. The fun starts even before the match does tailgating under the bridge with supporter groups. It's a great place to get to know other San Antonio FC fans. Once the match starts, the stadium is always full of continuous contagious energy.  The stadium is clean, safe, has plenty of FREE parking, is affordable, plenty of easily accessible bathrooms, and usually has some type of deal or promotion going on. It's great for families, parties, kids, dates, out of towners, group events it's just an overall great night out.  All the seats have good views. There's regular concession stand items and then some specialized one of  tacos/ nachos and a Augie's Barbed Wire Smokehouse BBQ one. You can even snag yourself some SAFC merch at The Soccrr Factory stand. Lately, they've been hosting after parties for an hour after the match with a band or DJ and drink specials. They've also recently added The Tap In, a Beer Truck! Tastey craft brews on tap and these are included in the $1 drink night. Yep, you read that right - craft brews included in dollar drink night!!  After matches, it is not uncommon for players to stop by the stands to say Hi, sign a Jersey, or take a pic with fans. I really enjoy Toyota Feild and always have a good time watching some professional USL soccer! First time here and must say, Toyota Field management has some work to do... Signage! Signage is you friend. From identifying the FREE lots from pay lots from VIP lots, the consumer loves signage. I drove around like a maniac looking for the FREE parking only to shell out $5 for paid parking. Finally made it to the ticket booth to redeem my two Groupons only to be met by 8 people in one booth trying to get their computers back online. Fifteen minutes later, the line started moving. Twenty minutes in, and I come face to face with the gal behind the glass only to hear, "Oh, if you have a Groupon you must go to the other ticket booth over there." "OK, that one over there at the other end of the field? The one with 150 people waiting in it," I asked. "Yes," she replied. Remember what I previously said about signage?! I looked back at her and said, "In the future, if you could put up a sign so fans don't waste their time..." "OK, thanks," was the curt reply. We walked down to the other ticket booth and, due to a lack of signage, said, "Hell, I guess this line is just as good as that line." Fifteen minutes later I was rewarded for my excellent line guessing with 2 tickets to a game which was no underway. The stadium is nice. It's new and shiny and easy to navigate. Signage abounds on the inside funneling fans to their appropriate sections. Bathrooms were clean and accessible. We found our seats quickly and easily. Thirty minutes later, it was refreshments time... First, the kettle corn was excellent although we did get the very last bag (they originally told me I'd have to wait 10 minutes as they cooked more but I chose the smaller bag - the last bag). Very tasty stuff but because it was the last bag, it was more a bag of kernels... Kettle corn in hand, I got in line for a beer. You guys need to work on efficiency here because it should not take 10 minutes to service 3 people regardless of their order. OK, beer - let's look at the menu to see what's on tap. Miller Lite and Coors Lite. Hmm, no beer on tap... Are you frickin' kidding me?! Miller Lite or Coors Lite on tap for $6.75? FAIL! I can't believe I bought it. The man rang up my order and it was $8. "Excuse me, but isn't it $6.75" "Oh, you didn't want to 24oz with special souvenir cup," he asked... The cup they had given me looked like a paper cup with a picture on it. "Is THIS the souvenir cup?" "Yes, that's it. I could pour your beer into the smaller cup." "No, that's fine. I'll take it." Really, Toyota Field - $8 for a Coors Lite in a "souvenir" cup that looks like paper and probably cost you guys a dime?! Back to the stadium itself. It's a really beautiful venue. Seating is adequate but the seat length is short so if you're tall, you'll be uncomfortable. Press box side seats are much more expensive than on the other side of the field. Staff was helpful in answering our questions. Fans from both teams are loud - constantly playing music and chanting... Soccer fans... OK, so to summarize, first and foremost, SIGNAGE! It's your friend. Second, BEER and to a lesser extent concessions on the whole. Toyota Field needs to work on their concessions. The beer selection is painfully expensive and lacking. Nobody should have to pay $6.75 for swill! and $8 for a souvenir cup, regardless of whether it says TOP SHELF DISHWASHER SAFE, that looks and feels like a paper cup, is just sticking it to your fans. I've been to a few other USL soccer games in my home area of Wilmington NC, and I've been to a MLS D.C. United Game. We used to have The USL Wilmington Hammerheads local before they moved. There is a big difference in this made for soccer stadium. This stadium and its fans are outstanding. This might not be MLS but the game play is great and the stadium is well maintained and beautiful. This Stadium was built for the game. I wish I lived here I would be a season ticket holder. This was our first soccer game and it was a blast. My wife and I loved the energy in the stadium. The loss of one star was because the snack bar food was awful. We tried the nachos, pretzel, and popcorn. It was all terrible. The pretzel was hard as a rock, the popcorn tasted almost stale, and the nachos were the same. I am a new San Antonio FC fan! The stadium is awesome. There are no bad views from any sections. I went on the 4th of July to watch my first game and was not disappointed. They had dollar beers, and from what I've seen they have specials all the time at concessions. We went because there was supposed to be a fireworks show, however it was cancelled because of the rain. I had fun regardless, but the coolest thing is that I got an e-mail comping me tickets to another game since the fireworks show was cancelled! Awesome customer service. The only thing is I wish we could have used umbrellas but they are banned and it was raining. However, I understand because then you can potentially block other people's few. Came out for the Wounded Warriors vs NFL Legends charity flag football game. Stadium is new, turf was nice and everything seemed to go well. The small purse restrictions is the stupidest thing ever. My purse was one in over the limit and they made me take it back to my car. It offered to let them check it but they could careless. Very annoying. They should have some leeway on that. There is not point. What are the medal detectors and the security good for. God forbid a small purse hurts someone with a wallet in it. read more

Considering this was my first Toyota Field event I was pretty impressed by the organization and cleanliness. For starters, traffic coming into the fields may have been a hassle, but the parking assistants were helpful and professional. There is military and student discounted tickets so it's good to know they appreciate the service and the bookworms. The only issue is the main concession services. I waited over 25 minutes just to make it to the counter and order a drink. I understand the high volume of people, but this is where a staff should prepare ahead of time to meet customers in a timely manner. On the other hand, there are multiple options around like freshly squeezed lemonade, raspas, Bahama Bucks, but the trade off is these side locations only take cash. Overall, I was still impressed by how clean, and comfy this stadium is compared to the Alamodome, and I will definitely return to watch the San Antonio Scorpions play again!! I had a great time. I was in town from the east coast visiting family and wanted to check out a game. We arrived about 5 minutes into the match, so parking was easy (there is free handicap parking right next to the southeast gate, apparently. We didn't use it but just an FYI). The seating in our section (122) and on the east side of the stadium looks small but is surprisingly comfortable. Concessions are typical for sporting event pricing but the beer selection was a little disappointing. The stadium is pretty nice, too. Overall, I enjoyed the match. Field is awesome. The line for concessions is ridiculous. It's like no one has ever worked or ordered before. I've been in line for 20 mins, still not up front, and missing 9+ mins of the game. There are only 6 people ahead of me. read more
