I picked up there are 3 or 4 people, again they take my payment no explanation, In this situation, I would hope a Service Manager would explain the repairs and the options. I recently called to get my Tiguan appraised to see if the value justified the repairs or need investigate buying a new car. The Service Manager said I could make an appointment online or he would make the appointment. I ended the call. Do I want to work with a dealership that is clueless as McGrath? As a Sales Person, I would approach this entire Customer Experience differently. I am deciding if it is easier to go to another Volkswagen Dealer that respects me as a customer.

The only real problem I had was Clay (finance) really pushed an extended warranty. My father and I had said no multiple times. He even brought in another person to try and sell the warranty. Last night we fueled up when we got to town at the Hy-Vee downtown. Drove to our hotel Holiday Inn. Next morning we go to leave for a meeting and the car just smelled strongly of gasoline. It showed 1/2 tank of gas even though we had just filled it. We go to meeting. Leave and then the car shows empty tank! Strong smell of gas, made it like .50 and car sputtered to a dead stop. AAA was quick to get the car to Turpin Dodge and with the Braunability we didn't know what we were in for. Only here for a day an 1/2 we are thinking we lost our trip time here but they gave us a loaner, and we went on our way! We made it to our convention events. They were sooooo kind! They were able to replace the gas line that went bad, gave us loaner for the day, and they were SOOOOO NICE AND ACCOMODATING. We felt blessed to end up here. It was a difficult situation made so much easier because of their assistance!!
