AFTER paying them the money for it, they "forgot" to reserve my room and gave it to someone else for one of the days. Still, i decided to continue along with the other day I rented. This was a fatal mistake. The morning of, my students and i arrived, and there was no one there. I began to receive excuse after excuse (some of which were legitimate, to be honest, but some were not) about why no one could come open up the room for me when I had paid them MONTHS in advance to set this up. Ultimately, we cancelled the whole thing. But not until after children were left outside without parents or any way to get in. Upon complaining, the manager Billy literally began to block my phone number as I demanded compensation. I attempted to contact the owner repeatedly, but was also ignored. Truly a disgusting business.

I liked that Vivaldi had classes later in the evenings, which worked well with my work schedule. This location also has more parking availability compared to West U. The tuition was higher than some of the other local schools, but at the same time the facilities were the best I had seen. The quality of instruction was also very good and my skills definitely improved over time. During my time as a student, the tuition was raised twice, and eventually I was unable to attend as it was no longer in my budget.

So we get to start 2023 with no child care or activities for him. They gave me no notice that this was going to happen. In fact they confirmed just an hour earlier. Let's get a few things out in the open right away: - You do not need to be a musician to enjoy this place. - You don't need to be a kid to have a birthday party here (adult party here would be awesome) - You do not need any instruments - This place's core business is lessons. I've only been here for a party, but I'm coming back for the lessons - They teach music as a 'team sport', everyone gets to be in a band as they learn. Smart. The owners are incredibly nice and everyone has a great attitude. The equipment provided works just fine for fun recording sessions. The booth is appointed well. The space is large with multiple rooms for concurrent lessons, breakouts, jam rooms ... whatever. The party itself was a blast. The kids were given a crash course in learning very basic instrumental parts for a pre-selected song (which the birthday guest selects). No musical education is required. Sounds crazy, but you don't need to be a musician to have fun here and be a part of a recording session. After the separate tracks were laid down (vocals, guitar, bass, drums, keys); the party moved to cake eating mode. During this time, the producer mixed down and mastered the track, burned to CD's, and handed each attendee a copy. It was quite an experience for the kids to listen to their professional recording in the car on the drive home. The quality of the mixdown and mastering is absolutely acceptable given the talent level of the performers and the fact it went down while people were, literally, eating cake. I liked this party for many reasons: 1) it's unique 2) it's affordable, relative to your other typical options 3) there's a learning component involved. 4) facilities were very nice 5) I brought the snacks, drinks, cake, etc. I like this better as you can control the items and budget for this aspect of the party. 6) the owners and staff are ridiculous friendly 7) the CD giveaway at the end was really special and memorable. Certainly beats a bag of plastic toys you lose immediately. 5 stars way up for Bach 2 Rock in Houston. I'm glad they're here.
