This place has many options fir less than you would pay if you'd bought the chair brand new. Another thing to consider is if you don't like how the chair look but like how it feels you can buy a chair cover on line. After ordering 2 chairs online(one of them is a brand new Steelcase Leap V2) and not liking them, I decided to look for office liquidators around me as they might have different brands and models, that I could try. When I googled, TR trading came up. Went to the warehouse this morning to try out some chairs, hoping I'd find something comfortable. Parked in the back and entered through the back of the ware house, saw a Steelcase Leap V1 and was trying to see if the comfort is similar to V2. In the mean time, Alvin greeted and asked if he could help. I asked him if they have more chairs and he showed me to a whole bunch of them. I was surprised to see they have a whole bunch of fully loaded Steelcase Think chairs. Alvin helped me understand the features. Then he stepped away for a bit, so I can take my time to try different chairs. I took my time walking around the huge warehouse and trying different chairs. I was almost going to get the Steelcase Think. Then, I came across a Knoll Life Chair and it was "Love at first sit" :P. The price was definitely a deal. I noticed there were three of these chairs and one of then was much lower than the other 2. I was wondering why it was cheaper and then I noticed they wrote "torn" under the price tag. Then I looked closely and saw that the mesh back was torn in some places. If not for what was written, I couldn't have noticed it. This shows that they are honest about what they are selling. Alvin came by again and he told me about the chair settings and even threw in an optional extra lumbar support pad, which I really appreciated. He also helped load the chair into my car. Overall, wonderful customer service by Alvin and very good inventory in the store. I'm never buying office furniture online ever again. Wow! I had the worst experience ever. My company is a customer of theirs. So today I decided to stop by to get some supplies. Since I'm a college student and being stalked up of supplies is pretty neat. One of the few things I was going to purchase was a stapler. They only had 3 regular staplers for sale at the price of $5. But I seen them at Office depot for $8 brand new. I don't mind spending $5. But the staplers they had on the shelf where pretty beat up and dirty. So I asked one of the workers, if that was the best price they had. And she said let me go ask. She comes back with a blond older lady. She comes aggravated and very offensive. The first word I heard was STUPID. She was just yelling at me telling me not to waist her time and so much more. WOW! I was just shocked... The young employee stepped back with eyes of embarrassment. I think and Believe If that's how she treats her customers I sure can imagine how she treats her employees. Company's like this are the ones I don't support. And I hope you don't either. I previously visited this place and needed a filing cabinet for my office nothing too fancy very basic for the low cost. Couldn't find one on my price range I was willing to spend. I asked the sales rep who was there helping me and my mom great girl. The sales rep showed me one in my price range and I bought it. I took the filing cabinet home and it's my fault for not checking and assuming but the cabinet did not have a key nor lock. I called the office to see if it's possible to exchange and pay the difference the lady on the phone had their nerve to tell me this is not Macy's I was instantly about to let her have it and she goes I'm joking you can't take a joke. Hell no wont be back and btw got a new lock installed under 20 bucks . Shame all the employees were so nice and helpful until the the crazy lady answered the phone. This owner will not stop here we are weeks later and he/she has clearly violated CA consumer rights by posting my purchase. Anyway, we needed a replacement but we were not ready to fork out $200 for a chair. Enter TR trading. They have huge warehouses of used and some new office stuff. We found a much better chair than the one that died. It was used but it was so clean and in perfect order you'd guess it was new. $45 bucks for this awesome chair. There was a lot of awesome stuff here and even though we don't always need to find office supplies, there will be times were we can count on the quality they have here. I'm just starting out getting office furniture for a law firm and I found this location. When I called and told them I was looking for furniture for 2 office's they were very friendly and told me what they had in stock, then also told me that they had another shipment coming in that might be better for me and they would let me know when it came. Once they told me I came down and was greeted by a friendly employee who was not pushy, but was able to answer my questions and show me around. When I was looking for something they didn't have on the floor he was able to look in storage and found the desk I needed. We lucked out as the new arrival had a whole desk set that was almost brand new and 1/3 of the cost. All I can say is how great my experience was and what a great supply they have. I later found out that my friend who works for a large company when they moved had called them and they picked up all the furniture the company didn't need at a great price. We have gotten some great pieces and GREAT deals over the years. It's good to drop by every so often to see what goodies they've got. Things get marked down if they have a lot of them, or if they take up too much room in the warehouse--you can score big if you are lucky! Over the last 5 years or so, we have purchased a lot of filing cabinets, deluxe office chairs, an incredible set of wooden flat files, and (my favorite) four large matching modern office tables that can hook together in various configurations. The last things we purchased were 2 nice, high quality 8 ft office tables on wheels, for $75 each, I think. Have scored office wastebaskets and recycling wastebaskets for $1 - $1.50, hanging file folders, in-boxes, binder clips for cheap cheap. Everyone's nice, very helpful, Toni's a hoot. I thought to review them, finally, because I called them the other day to ask about the nice stacking chairs that I saw at least 6 months ago--they were great looking, blue, and $25 each. They had dozens, now they have 6 I think. Rats. I shoulda bought them back when! read more

My search for an L-shaped professional desk stretched across Los Angeles, until I came to TR Trading Company in Gardena, CA. Not only is their selection enormous, but the people they have working in the warehouse are immensely helpful. I had found a desk that caught my eye way back in the warehouse, behind multiple pieces of furniture. Within no time at all, some assistants pulled the desk out, and set it up in the showroom for me to see. The owner is wonderful, and has a great personality. This is what business should be about. I have dealt with this company for many years buying quality office equipment which has always worked out. This time I purchased 4 steelcase chairs and an architect chair for our office. When they were delivered, there were a few minor holes in two of the chairs, which would not have affected our usage. However, I notified Tracey and she immediately sent back a note that they would make good. The next day Tracey shows up with two replacement chairs, which was certainly not necessary. I don't think there are many businesses where the salesperson hand delivers a replacement item, when the original chair was used and so shouldn't be expected to be perfect.
